Chapter 48 Epiphany(1/2)

Su Dawei held the jade pillow in both hands and walked towards Master Xuanzang: "Master, my friend said this jade pillow was leaked from Gaoyang Mansion. I wonder if it is Taizong's Jinbao divine pillow, so please help me see it."

A trace of surprise flashed across Xuanzang's face, and he gently put down the rosary.

When Su Dawei put the jade pillow on the table in front of him, a trace of doubt flashed in Xuanzang's eyes, first nodded, then shook his head: "It looks like...but how could this treasure pillow fall to you?"

"I find it strange, too."

Su Dawei said: "The last time the mage mentioned it, I have seen this treasure pillow, so I want you to help me defend it first."

"I just took a look from a distance back then, and it was a long time, so I couldn't confirm it, Walker."

Xuanzang rushes to the walker cross-legged by the wall and says, "Come and take a look."

"yes."

The walker walked forward, stared at the jade pillow with his eyes, and said nothing for a long time.

Su Dawei felt a sense of inexplicable power gathering from the walker.

It looks like vital energy, and a bit like weird demonic energy.

It is said that it is vital energy, which is more violent than the vital energy of ordinary strange people. It is said that it is demonic energy, but there is no strange and cold feeling.

All in all, it's very strange.

I saw a golden light flashing in the traveler's eyes, and he nodded: "It's this pillow, but..."

The walker scratched the messy hair on his head and said, "The previous spell seems to be gone."

“Ami.”

Master Xuanzang held up the jade pillow in both hands: "I don't know where you got it, but I think you'd better return it."

“I still…”

"Back to Princess Gaoyang."

Xuanzang said: "This treasure pillow was given to Gao Yang during the reign of Emperor Taizong, and later Gao Yang gave it to Bian Ji. Now the defense pillow is no longer there. I think this treasure pillow should be returned to the original owner and returned to Princess Gao Yang."

Su Dawei was stunned.

It was returned to Princess Gaoyang, it sounds fine.

But......

Hasn’t Fang Yiai been stabbed by her own brother recently?

He secretly told the story of his love to rebel.

Now Changsun Wuji has definitely set his sights on it. According to Changsun Wuji's usual methods, anyone who is next to Fang Yiai's family is seeking death.

It’s too late to hide. If you send the treasure pillow back at this moment, wouldn’t it be a rhythm that would be over?

"Ami?"

Master Xuanzang held the pillow in both hands, stood up and handed it to Su Dawei: "Take it back to Princess Gaoyang."

Beads of sweat suddenly oozed out from Su Dawei's forehead.

This is not a pillow, it is clearly a hot potato.

Or not?

This is a problem.

Walking out of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Su Dawei couldn't help but wipe the sweat beside his cheeks with his sleeve.

I just thanked for my wit.

I told Master Xuanzang that I don’t know if there is any curse on this pillow. If I go back rashly, if there is something wrong, it will be a good intention to do something bad.

Secondly, this pillow was taken back by a friend from the market, and if you want to return it to the princess, you will also hear from a friend.

Finally, if I just returned it like this, if the pillow was stolen by the princess, I am afraid I can't explain it clearly.

I don’t know what Master Xuanzang was thinking, but in short, the master agreed to keep the pillow for the time being.

This made Su Dawei feel relieved.

Thinking of the cause and effect of the whole incident, he couldn't help but secretly scold himself for not thinking well and forgot about Fang Yiai.

He actually took the pillow from Smoore.

This is like taking a pack of explosives.

"Smore cheated me."

Su Dawei couldn't help but say.

"Brother Ami, what did you say?"

Lu Huineng came out with him, and when he heard what he said, he couldn't help asking curiously.

"Nothing." Su Dawei quickly changed the topic: "Do you understand the Diamond Sutra that Master Xuanzang said just now?"

"I understand a little, but I don't understand a little."

Lu Huineng put his hands together, his face full of longing: "All things are created by the mind, and because they have no dwelling on anything, they have their minds."

"Go, you are talking more and more like a monk now."

Su Dawei couldn't help but hold his forehead with his hands: "You won't really be a monk in the future, right?"

If you really become a monk, would you be the legendary Sixth Patriarch Huineng of Zen Buddhism?

Then my fate with Buddhism is really...

"No."

Lu Huineng glanced at Su Dawei with a strange look: "My mother said that I would marry a wife when I grow up, and I would also pass on the incense to the Lu family."

"It's right for you to think so."

Su Dawei breathed a sigh of relief and patted his shoulder and said, "Then help me keep an eye on that case. If you find out, you can get some money to reward you, so you can save some wife book."

"Brother Ami, I understand."

Huineng's face was red, not sure whether it was shy or excited.

Take Lu Huineng, a small oil bottle beside him, and walk home.

Su Dawei repeatedly chewed what the traveler had just said in his heart, and a little bit of inspiration flashed in his mind.

Why did you mention the two doors of Buddhism and Taoism just now?

By the way, it is because the Tang Dynasty went from Tao to Buddhism. Originally, the Li Tang Dynasty and Li Tang Dynasty praised Li Er as the ancestor and Taoism as the national religion.

But looking at the current Tang Dynasty, Buddhism is prosperous, and Taoism has a weak sense of existence.

Just now, the master and the practitioner said that Taoism is about the heaven, the earth, and the nature, and how people view the universe and how they get along with the outside world.

And Buddhism, how do you view your own heart?

Understood!

Su Dawei nodded secretly, thinking that the monk could speak, but his words actually hid such a large amount of information.

At the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, during the reign of Emperor Taizu of Tang, the four barbarians were not subdued and their power was not stable.

Still in a state of striving for development.

It is in line with the core essence of Taoism.

How to view the world, how to get along with all things, how to get along with neighbors, and how to explore the limits of this external world.

Many people in later generations thought that Taoism was to govern by inaction, and this perception was one-sided.

The core of true Taoism is—

Do nothing but do everything!

The point is not to do nothing, but to do everything.

It is done very little and effortless, so it seems inaction.

Just like when I saw Emperor Taizong of Tang Li Shiming in later generations, I thought he was nothing special. He just had a ***. After winning several battles, he finally came to Xuanwu Gate and easily captured the world.

This is of course also wrong.

Li Shimin is "everything is done" and is a talented person, so he seems relaxed.

Taoist thought was applicable when the Li Tang Dynasty was first founded.

However, when Li Shimin took power, defeated the Turks, severely damaged Goguryeo, the territory of the Tang Dynasty was stable, and the four barbarians were subdued, the expansion of the Tang Dynasty reached the limit of manpower.

When external stability is stable, the focus will naturally return to your own internal affairs.

Many problems were previously ignored because of external enemies. After solving the external environment, we had to start solving those hidden dangers one by one.

At this time, Buddhism plays a very good role in soothing people's hearts.

Taoism is the only one who sees the world.

And the Buddhist master represents how to see one's heart.
