Chapter 4 Taoist Statue

The light was very dark after the tent was pulled up, and the middle-aged and old scholar curled up in a wheelchair and said, "Young man, if you really find the Tears Buddha here, how much do you think it's worth?"

"How much is it worth? How dare you think about it?"

I shook my head and said I didn't know, but I still don't understand one thing about the Tears, so I immediately asked the old scholar and wanted to hear his answer.

I asked: "The Emperor of Xixia rewarded the Painted Tears Buddha to Master Reba, and then the master returned to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with his things. The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Alxa are completely incompatible. Why did the Painted Tears Buddha come to Heishui City?"

"The young man has a very detailed idea." The old scholar did not answer my words positively, but instead ordered Xiao Kai beside him to light a candle.

"Pata." The lighter sounded.

Xiao Kai had no expression on his face and handed the lit red candle to the old peddler.

The old pedan grabbed the candle with one hand, and the yellow flames reflected in his eyes and jumped non-stop.

“Look at how good it is to burn”

The old man stared at the burning flames of the candles, and then a strange smile appeared on his wrinkled face. This smile made people feel uncomfortable.

He spoke slowly: "Fifty-five years ago, I worked in the National Boston warehouse. At that time, I was just a primary apprentice. The master asked me to clean the warehouse every day. If I didn't do it well, I would be beaten and would not give me food."

"I'm cold and hungry, but I don't feel bored. At that time, there were many untied antiques, stone tablets, and rubbings in the inventory. I saw too many, so many that I couldn't remember how many there were. As I looked at it, I was no longer cold and hungry."

"One day, when I was sorting out and archived, I accidentally found a late Qing rubbing. The label on the rubbing said that the acquisition originated from near Dayun Temple in Liangzhou. I couldn't understand the Xixia text on the rubbing. I only knew that it should come from a stone tablet. I ran to ask the master. After reading it, the master shook his head and said, "This film is an ominous time. It is the back rubbing. The original monument should be rebuilt the Huguo Temple induction monument five years later."

Having said that, the old peddler looked up at me and said, "Do you want to know what the Xixia text in the rubbings said?"

I didn't hesitate and nodded and of course I wanted to know.

"Hehe" the old pedan only smiles but doesn't speak.

I said anxiously, why did Master De run to Hei Shui City?

"I'm ignorant, Yunfeng," he saw that the old scholar stopped talking, and immediately handed over a cigarette and lit it for him.

He smoked a cigarette and then slowly told the follow-up.

Master De preached in Xixia for decades, and there were countless disciples, one of whom was a young monk who was responsible for taking care of him. Master De called the monk "Lumi Dorje."

In Tibetan, "Lu Mei" means hard work, and "Dorjie" refers to the Vajra of the Exoteric Sect. Together, as the name suggests, it means the Vajra of the Dharma Protector who is not afraid of suffering, and is a monk.

When Master De left Xixia, he was nearly 83 years old. In ancient times, there were not many people who could live to 80 years old. He was already very old and was entirely under the care of the young monk Lu Meidorje.

There were more than 90 monks who came back. That day, they walked to Dege County (now in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture) with the rewards of the Emperor of Xixia, and encountered a group of more than 500 native soldiers. The leader of this group of native soldiers was the stupid sect, Baili Tustonyue, who was the stupid sect at that time. The locals called him King Baili.

King Baili did not believe in Buddhism. He was jealous of the treasures brought by Master De, and immediately ordered people to kill and rob people, and wanted to rob these treasures containing the Buddha's tears.

More than 90 monks, except for Lu Meidorje and a few, no other monks could do anything. 500 people faced dozens of people, and thus became a cruel massacre.

Lumeidorje is called the Vajra of the Dharma Protector, which is not something that Guang said. He practiced the esoteric esoteric sects, "The Six Dharmas of Rao."

The six laws of the Exoteric School are divided into dynamic laws and static laws.

Cultivate the mind, cultivate the spiritual power, and cultivate the wisdom of the master.

Move the Dharma to cultivate one's body, cultivate the strength of the body, and cultivate the power of Vajra.

In that battle, Lumeidorje fought dozens of people. In order to protect the Deshi, he fought bloody battles into the Vajra. He killed a native soldier of King Baili with one palm, and fought a bloody way out of the crowd. He jumped onto the carriage with the Deshi, and ran away with the treasure.

Unfortunately, Master Zhongde was injured in a knife before his death. Before his death, Master De ordered Lumeidorje, saying that he could not do anything else, and that he would be destined to be borne by this without any delusion. I have no face to return to the Pure Land of Motuo. Please send the Tears Buddha back."

After saying that, Master De died in the carriage and passed away.

Lu Meidorje was also seriously injured and forced to bury the master. He was shaky and angrily thinking that with his current physical condition, he could no longer complete the master's last order.

At that time, there were many traders in the border areas of Xixia, including Song people, Jin people and Xixia people. Lumei Dorje was lucky enough to meet a team of Song Dynasty caravans. The leader of the caravan was also a Buddhist believer. He was very moved after hearing this and vowed to help Dorje complete the master's order.

Afterwards, the caravan led Dorje through mountains and rivers for nearly a thousand miles and sent the Tears Buddha back.

After returning, Renzong learned about the whole story and received Dorje. In order to let future generations remember this, he carved a stone tablet record in Liangzhou Temple.

This way, the truth was revealed.

Tears were first rewarded to Deshi. After Deshi died, he returned to Xixia. Li Yuan smuggled the Tears out of Xingqing Mansion surrounded by Mongolian soldiers and gave them to Ozaren. Ozaren brought the Tears and other treasures to Heishui City. Finally, he wanted to take his things to Sichuan to join the Western Wuer Kingdom built by Li Yuan, but was discovered by the Mongols and did not escape.

Since then, the Tears Buddha was hidden in the snow and disappeared in Hei Shui City.

After smoking the cigarette, the old scholar finished speaking. He smiled and said, "What are the young people? Do you know why so many people are here?"

I shook my head and said, can I find it? Hei Shui City is so big, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I don’t need to mention the last Miaoyin Bird, I know that there are many legends about Miaoyin Birds, like Qin Shihuang’s Twelve Bronze Man, Jiuzhou Bronze Cauldron, and Miaoyin Birds.

The Lingwu Kiln Miaoyin Bird is a bionic sculpture porcelain made into the shape of a bird. The Miaoyin Bird appeared on the Dunhuang murals, which is the shape of a human-faced bird. The prototype should refer to the Garula divine bird in Dongmi Buddhism.

There are very few things in Lingwu Kiln in the Western Xia Dynasty. At that time, the Ding Kiln Ru Kiln in the Song Dynasty was too famous, which covered up the scenery of Lingwu Kiln. In fact, the carvings of Lingwu Kiln were unique at that time.

This thing was regarded as a national treasure by the Xixia people, and it must have its extraordinary features. One of these rumors spread the most.

Rumor: This sculpture, Miaoyin Bird, can speak and recite scriptures

Don't think it's irritating, listen to my explanation.

The Miaoyin Bird can speak, which means that it can make sounds and make the sound of a monk in Xixia chanting Buddha's name. It means that there is an ancient voice stored in this sculpture porcelain, just like a recorder.

How is this possible?

Could it be that there were radios in the Song Dynasty?

It is really possible to say that things are not absolute.

If you haven’t seen it before, it doesn’t mean you don’t. How old can you live in the Chinese civilization for five thousand years? There are so many things we have never seen before.

I'll say three things.

The palace maids on the wall of the Forbidden City, Yin soldiers from Lulin County, Yunnan Province, echoes of the 15th century pot pots.

1. On the rainy day in the 1990s, many people saw a row of palace maids walking in a hurry with lanterns on the red wall of the Forbidden City, which scared many people. Many people took photos. Now these photos can be found online. Those who are photographing have read the photos and say that the photos are not fake, which is true. (Don't look at them if you are timid.)

So what is the conclusion given after the official investigation?

Expert: The palace wall is a red dye, containing iron tetraoxide, and lightning may conduct electricity. When lightning appears, a palace maid happens to pass by. The red wall is equivalent to the function of a video tape. The walking palace maid is recorded as a video. Many years later, if lightning coincides, the shadows of the palace maids who were recorded back then will appear like video screenings.

2. In the Jingmager area of Yunnan, people can hear the sound of fighting and war horses on the ancient battlefield when passing by. The official explanation is that there is something wrong with the terrain structure and stones of the Jingmager Canyon.

3. Echo pots of 15th century.

Experts on TV explained:

During the firing of the clay pot, a mixture of iron trioxide and iron tetraoxide was accidentally formed, and the surface was magnetized, which was basically the same as the composition of the surface of the audio tape. Then, by chance, the sound of the banquet thousands of years ago was recorded.

The echo of the pot can be heard online, which is the physical evidence left behind.

Therefore, the people who came to Alaxan to rob the tomb also wanted to dig the Miaoyin Bird from a certain underground palace.

Not to mention how much it can be sold.

At least you can listen to the voices of the ancients through the Miaoyin Bird.
