Chapter 3 Night Exploration of Ghost Cub Ridge

I told me my head and told me what is in Hei Shui City.

After hearing this, I couldn't calm down for a long time.

If this matter is 80% credible as the old scholar said, then in comparison, the little Ashoka Tower we got before is indeed impossible to beat.

According to his inferred research, there are some underground palaces hidden under the yellow sand of Heishui City, and there may be three things from Xixia in a certain underground palace.

"The Six Tripitakas of the Tang Dynasty, Tears of the Buddha, and the Lingwu Kiln Carved Porcelain and Miaoyin Bird"

The old scholar dares to say this because he spent a long time studying a certain part of history.

He told me, I told you all.

Xixia established and governed the country through Buddhism.

The Miaoyin Bird, the Tears of Tears, the Tripitaka, and the Wuzhu, these four things are like the Buddha's fate and torch, and are things that Emperor Li Xian of the Last Emperor of Xia tried his best to protect. These four things have stored the spiritual beliefs of the people of the Western Xia for more than two hundred years. The Dangxiang people regarded these things more than life and would never give them to the Mongolians.

Except for us, I'm afraid no one knows the story behind these things.

Zhou Sanshun once told me that Li Xian was not dead. I didn’t understand how Li Xian escaped and who helped him escape.

Now these have been revealed, and the mystery of Hei Shui City will eventually be solved.

More than 600 years ago, there was a great scholar named Odaochong. Until later in the Yuan Dynasty, this man was respected as a first-class gentleman and a master of Confucianism by the Yuan people.

After Wu Daochong's death, his grandson Wu Zhayuan was responsible for recording the history of the Western Xia Dynasty. In the late Xixia period, he was sent to Liangzhou to serve as an official. Then Genghis Khan went to the Western Xia to attack Liangzhou for the sixth time. Wu Zhayuan couldn't bear to see the Liangzhou he guarded was massacred. For the sake of the people in the city, he chose to sacrifice the city to surrender to the Mongols.

He was given an eternal infamous for the people of Liangzhou, and was exhausted from his head and his head was white and his mind was exhausted. The Mongolians gave him an official position, which was called Zhongxing Road Xinmin General Manager, similar to the militia captain in the TV series.

Although he joined Mongolia, he was still loyal to Xixia. After Genghis Khan surrounded Xingqing Prefecture, this man thought about how to save Duxi Emperor Xia and escape every day.

Ozhalun had a son named Duoerchi. I don’t know if it was God’s will or a coincidence. His son looked like Li Xian, and his daughter-in-law was Mizhiyin. This woman was the mummy corpse with Ashoka Tower hidden in her belly.

In order to save Li Xian, Wuzalun even took his whole family into it.

He said to the Mongolians: "As long as you let me and my people enter Xingqing Mansion, I can secretly convince the Western Xia army and the Iron Harrier Army to let the people be loyal to you, so that you can easily break the city."

When the Mongolians heard this, they were fine, so you can hurry up and go in.

So, Wuzhalun brought his own team of troops and became the Xinmin General Manager, including his son and daughter-in-law.

After entering, Wuzalun killed all the people brought in except his son and daughter-in-law, and emptied out the number of people.

He lied that he had convinced Li Xian, and then asked his son to put on makeup and pretend to be Li Xian to go out to the city to kill him, and the real Li Xian had already joined the team and followed him out of the city.

The Mongolians were overjoyed and said that you have made such great contributions, what kind of official do you want to be? Where can you become an official? Tell me, there are many rewards.

So, Ozaleng said that I wanted to work in Heishui City, the northernmost part of Xixia.

The Mongolians thought about it and waved their hands and said, "You go to Heishui City to be an official."

After Li Xian was saved, he brought some money from the city. The most important thing was that he brought out Wuzhu, the Tears of Tears, the Wonderful Bird, and the Tripitaka.

Li Xian was afraid that he would be caught up by the Mongols, so he only took Wuzhu, and the other three things were handed over to Ozaren. Li Xian asked him to take him to Heishui City and hid him. When he made a comeback in the future, he would welcome the Buddha Bao back to China. Then Li Xian led his people south and plunged into the vast mountains of Sichuan.

Two years later.

One day, Wuzalun received a letter with a roll of parchment paper. Some words were written on the parchment paper in the Xixia Palace text, and several artillery towers were specially drawn, which meant to tell Wuzalun: "I have settled down. My dear friend can come here with three Buddha treasures. When you find these artillery towers, you will find me."

Wu Zhayuan's father is a Grand Secretary, so Xixia Gongwen can naturally understand it. After reading it, he said in tears that you are the one who has finally waited for this day. You are waiting, I will take the Buddha treasure to find you.

But there are ears in the partition walls. Somehow the news leaked. Wuzalun ran away quickly, but his daughter-in-law was caught and killed.

Knowing that he could not leave, he relied on help from others to get his daughter's body. He sealed the parchment roll into Ashoka Tower, then cut open the belly of his daughter-in-law Mi Zhiyin and hid the tower. Finally, he led the tower with the man and used the ancient well as a cover to bury this secret forever under the numerous underground palaces in Hei Shui City.

800 years later.

Douyazai kicked the tile to pieces after going down the well, and we were able to see Mizhiyin's mummy, and Ashoka Tower saw the light of day again.

So, what is the origin of the Tripitaka, the Tears of the Tears, and the Wonderful Bird?

Wu Zhachun buried him under the underground palace of Hei Shui City. Where did he buried him?

The whole country of Xixia believes in Buddhism.

Huguo Temple, Reclining Buddha Temple, Hongren Temple, Chengtian Temple, Haibao Temple, Jietan Temple, Chongqing Temple, Yusheng Temple, Cross Temple, Zen Temple, Heizhi Temple, Pudu Temple, Bingling Temple, Wufu Temple, Anqing Temple, Tianzhou Temple, Guangxi Temple, can't count the number of temples built during the Xixia period. Although most of them have been damaged, the famous Reclining Buddha Temple has been preserved.

The Great Buddha Temple is now on a small street behind the farmers' market in Zhangye City. On the lintel are the three words "Da Buddha Temple" written by Mr. Zhao Pushu.

There must be many monks in so many temples, so they must have to chant scriptures. However, when Yuanhao was founding, there were no decent Buddhist scriptures in Xixia, so Yuanhao asked someone to go to the Song Dynasty and said that he could exchange 77 Western Xia BMWs for a Tripitaka.

The Song Dynasty had just lost the battle, and Renzong was angry. He thought to himself that I had taken the BMW, and it was impossible for the Tripitaka to give you. Let's recite the Dragon King Sutra.

The messenger did not understand the scriptures, so he left the 77 BMWs and happily returned with the scripture box.

After returning, Yuan Hao saw that the box was not the Tripitaka, but the Dragon King Sutra, and immediately became furious and ordered troops to attack the Song Dynasty.

Renzong did not expect that Yuan Hao would dare to start a war for a scripture, so he immediately admitted his fear and said, "Don't fight, I'll give you the Tripitaka, so Yuan Hao got the first Tripitaka."

Later, Wuzang built the Chengtian Tower for his son, and then went to the Song Dynasty with a stern face to ask for the second Tripitaka. The reasons are the same. If you don’t give it to me, I will send troops to attack you.

Then the three emperors of the Western Xia asked the Song Dynasty for four tribes, and the Western Xia obtained a total of six tribes of the Tripitaka.

Next, we start talking about "Crying Buddha".

After the death of Empress Dowager Xiaoliang, Xixia began to respect Tibetan Buddhism again, and Xixia began to worship the Tantric Buddhism on the plateau. So Emperor Renxiao sent someone to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to invite the holy monk to come to Xixia to preach.

Emperor Renxiao began to want to invite the Kagyu to send the eminent monk Zen Master Dama to Xixia, but Zen Master Dama felt that he was too old and could not walk so far thousands of miles, so he sent his disciple Deshi Reba to Xixia to preach.

Reba preached in Xixia for thirty-one years. He built temples and translated scriptures. He was honored as the emperor's teacher. The emperor's teacher Reba was treated very well and had a grand prestige.

One day he felt that he was old and wanted to return to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to retire. The Emperor of Xixia approved it and gave the emperor Reba a large number of magical instruments, fabrics, money, etc. Among them, there was a pottery painted Buddha statue of Sakyamuni and others. The Buddha statue was about 1.7 meters tall, with vivid shapes and compassionate eyes.

Legend has it that there are two black glaze bands hanging down under the eyes of this painted Buddha.

Once it is rainy, these two black glaze ribbons will start to emit water, just like the Buddha's tears, which is extremely mysterious.
