Chapter 217: White Horse Temple

Seeing that a great war was about to begin, Beldan took out a sign from his waist and shook it in front of the general. When the general saw the sign, he immediately knelt down, clasped his fists and said, "I don't know that the great immortal has come, and he has missed the welcome."

Seeing this, the soldiers knelt down one after another.

"Get up, those who don't know are innocent." Beldan said, "This time I am a great immortal who visited the earth under the order of the Jade Emperor of Heaven. It is not convenient to disturb you. Please go back and tell your emperor that he will come to visit him again another day."

After saying that, in order to create an effect, she and Kerot disappeared without a trace with a "swoosh", shocking the people present-

It was already late at night when the two of them returned to Luowen Inn.

In the inn room, Kairot asked curiously: "What brand did you show to General Hao of Yulin Jun in a small restaurant, which shocked him all at once?"

"This is the token specially given by the emperor of the previous dynasty to the great immortals who came into and out of the palace. My token represents supreme power, and even the emperor today must avoid three points. What's more, General Hao's martial arts were learned in White Horse Temple. His master is my disciple. Even with this relationship, he will worship me."

At this time, the bell of White Horse Temple rang and a new day began.

Kerot said: "You will go to White Horse Temple to preach the scriptures and deliver the way in two days. If you don't prepare well," he said.

"There is no need to prepare, Buddhism is already in my heart." said the Dan girl, "We have been struggling for a day and it's time to rest. For the remaining two days, I can accompany you to visit Luoyang City."-

Early the next morning, they had breakfast, but Berdan put the promise last night behind his mind and did not take Kerot to Luoyang City to visit, but went straight to White Horse Temple.

This White Horse Temple is not far from Luoyang City, so there is no need to hire a cart. They walked to the front of the White Horse Temple in half an hour. The White Horse Temple gate uses a archway-style stone arc door with three holes. When you look up, you can see the red lintel embedded with the bluestone inscription of "White Horse Temple". The entire temple is arranged in a regular layout, with red walls and green tiles, and the style is simple. Outside the temple gate is a square, with a release pond, a stone arch bridge, and green space on both sides. The entire temple faces south and north, and is a long courtyard. The five main halls are the Heavenly King Hall, the Great Buddha Hall, the Great Buddha Hall, the Great Palace Hall, the Guiding Hall and the Vilu Hall.

They slowly walked into the White Horse Temple. Two large incense burners stood proudly in front of the Heavenly King Hall, with devout pilgrims and tourists coming here, surrounded by incense. The sound of monks beating wooden fishes came from the hall. Instead of entering the hall, they silently walked north along a small path, turned a few corners, and came to the balcony behind the courtyard.

The Qingliangtai is located at the back of the temple. It is a high platform building, called the "Air Courtyard". The last hall of White Horse Temple, the Vilu Hall, is located in the Qingliangtai. It is a double-eaved hip-top building and is the central building of the Qingliangtai. It is surrounded by side halls, gate towers, release ponds, Ganlu Wells, corridors, etc. The side halls on both sides are the Shemoteng Hall and the Zhufalan Hall, and there are statues of two monks in the hall.

Kerot said: "I heard from Luoyang people that this Qingliangtai was originally a place where Emperor Ming of Han studied and enjoyed the shade when he was young. Later, he was the place where the monks from India took Moteng and Zhu Falan translated the scriptures."

"This legend is true," Beldan asked, "but have you ever thought about where is the birthplace of Buddhism? Where is the true birthplace of these scriptures?"

Kerot replied without hesitation: "Tianzhu."

Berdan smiled and did not refute, and slowly said: "Buddhism attaches importance to the progress and enlightenment of human mind and morality. Through his own practice, Buddhist believers discover the truth of life and the universe, and eventually transcend life and death and suffering, eliminate all troubles, and obtain ultimate liberation. If they can become a true Buddhist through practice, they should be the first person on Earth who has the prototype of Homo sapiens. The emergence of Buddhism and the emergence of scriptures are the crystallization of the wisdom of the sapiens, and there is also a contribution from the Capricorns here... Let's put it this way, Buddhism is profound and profound. Strictly speaking, even if you, the Martian Homo sapiens with extremely high brain power, may not be able to fully interpret it."

While they were talking, they walked into the Vila Temple. Master Yanshou, the host of White Horse Temple, was waiting there for a long time. When he saw Beldan, he hurried forward and greeted him with a smile: "Welcome to the two great immortals, please go in."

They followed the presidency into a side hall behind the main hall. Berdan told Cerot: "This hall is the temple of Sutra and also the place for translation."

Kerot saw the table on the ground inside, and there were two monks who were at the desk to translate and copy the scriptures. A monk named Zhi hurriedly handed her a handwritten scripture and said, "Fairy, the 10th volume of "Chang'a Xinfa" has been translated, please check it out."

The fairy took the scriptures, looked through the previous part, and praised it repeatedly: "The translation is good, and it has made great progress compared to the previous few volumes. I hope you will continue to work hard."

Kerot picked up an original scripture at the desk and read it. He recognized it as the Capricorn planet text. Seeing the table neatly filled with hundreds of volumes of scriptures that had not been translated, he said worriedly: "Tsk tsk, the compilation of these scriptures has a huge workload, and only these two masters may not be able to complete it in their lifetime."

"Don't worry about this. Master Yanshou attaches great importance to the compilation of scriptures. There are more than one compilation room. We are the general compilation room here. After all the compilation of scriptures, all the compilation books are reviewed and summarized here. If not, there are only 22 volumes of the Long Agama Sutra, 60 volumes of the Central Agama Sutra, 50 volumes of the Miscellaneous Agama Sutra, and 51 volumes of the Additional Agama Sutra."

Kerot asked Beerdan in Martian language: "I learned from the written records of Martian history that the Agama Sutra is a famous scripture for the Capricorns. I didn't expect it to spread to the earth very early. Do the Earthlings have a deep connection with the Capricorns?"

The girl Dan also answered in Mars language: "Don't test me. A large part of the genes of the Earthlings and Capricorns have the same genes. There are also Martians who have a connection with the Earthlings. However, their brain abilities are considered to be controlled when they are immigrated to the Earth. Few people who are not controlled are willing to come to this wilderness and primitive earth. This is the fundamental reason for the slow development of the Earthlings."

"The fundamental reason for the slow development of the earth is not the question of how many Homo sapiens are, but whether we are willing to remove control of them and help them sincerely. It is not very useful for you to spread the Agama Sutra to the people on earth."

"I don't have this right to lift their control over them. All I can do is to pass scriptures and channels on the earth. It's useful or not. Wait until it's useful."

"If it is useful, the Agama Sutra has been circulating on the earth for so long that it will not be taken seriously until now."

"One day, after the earth enters a modern civilized society, the people on earth will realize the true value of the Agama Sutra. I ignore whether it is the Mahayana Sutra or the Hinayana Sutra. I think the Agama Sutra is the foundation of Buddhism. Because the Dharma principles of the Agama Sutra are very profound and easily misunderstood, you can only realize it if you have to practice and verify it. For a long time, it has been spread on the earth by memorizing and passing it on memorizing and passing it on some falsehoods, so we must now translate it as soon as possible, and we cannot misjudgment it as the Hinayana Sutra and put it aside, so that the Agama Sutra is buried."

The two of them whispered in Martian language for a long time, which made the host and the two monks confused. They didn't know what the two immortals were saying, so they stayed aside. Seeing this, Beerdan: "Master Yanshou made you laugh, we are discussing Buddhism."

Master Yanshou bowed with one hand: "Amitabha, with two great immortals helping each other, the Buddhist teachings of White Horse Temple will be carried forward even more."
