Chapter 9 Control

As you walk faster, the leaves will not float to your body so easily, which is common sense to a certain extent, but after encountering these leaves here, everything will turn the other way around. The faster Joey and Elos walked, the more scattered leaves will be closer to their bodies.

Slowly, the road under their feet was filled with fallen leaves. Every time they wanted to move, they needed to step out of countless fallen leaves. Some trees had completely fallen off, leaving only bare branches. When they looked up, they could see the unfinished sun and the slightly dark sky in the early morning.

The morning mist floating in the forest dimmed a little again, and all the letters hanging on the trees began to slowly disappear, as if what just happened was really just an illusion, but the shaking of these trees still did not stop. Although many of them had lost their leaves, their branches were still shaking in distortion, as if they would never stop.

"This forest must have suffered some kind of curse." Elos gave such an evaluation.

Joey picked up the fallen leaves with her hands. The leaves were picked up by her and began to shatter into her palms little by little, like melted tears.

Joey looked at the shattered leaves in her hand, and there was a guess in her mind. She picked up a lot of fallen leaves and sprinkled at a tree next to her. All the fallen leaves were flying towards the tree, turning back and floating back. There was no fallen leaves. She wanted to get closer to the branches of the tree. The fallen leaves turned into dust in the air and sprinkled down.

The fallen leaves made Joey more and more determined her guess. She took out the magic gloves and carefully pulled out an elemental sequence. It was still an elemental magic of the genus of Wind, called... to test the spiritual technique.

Usually, this magic is mainly used to detect emotional fluctuations in animals. Now Joey uses this magic on plants.

The power of the wind began to appear, and it began to wrap around the surface of the dead tree in front of us little by little. Following the folds of the surface, the wind began to guide the tree's emotions to reveal, and then Joey saw the result, a color that showed emotions.

It is black, pure black without impurities.

In ancient divination, black means unknown, confusion, and absolute emptiness.

However, according to modern psychoanalysis, black represents only an emotion, an emotion called...sadness.

After reading the results, Joey said her conclusion, "The whole forest is crying sadly."

"The forest is crying? Do plants also have emotions?" Ailos expressed his complete surprise. He had seen many strange things over the years, but this situation was really the first time.

"The technique will not lie, although I don't understand why this result is."

Elos frowned. The incident revealed a sense of arrangement from beginning to end. The repairman behind the scenes still seemed to be in dispersed.

He was about to remind Joey to be wary of being affected by this emotion, but before he could turn his head, he found that there was an extra letter in his right hand.

The letter was sealed with red paint and bound with white paper. There was no stamp or postal code, nor signed. There was only an empty letter, exactly the same as the letter hanging on the tree before.

Alos made a quick decision, rubbed his left hand with his finger, and made the letter start to rise, and quickly burned the paper. After the fire, the ashes of the letter did not disappear, but re-stitched and combined to form a new letter. However, this time the letter had been unblocked.

The letter flew out of thin air and pressed tightly on Elos's face. Elos hurriedly closed his eyes, wanting to prevent himself from seeing the content of the letter, but this was just a meaningless struggle. The content of the letter appeared in his mind bit by bit, using a certain way of thinking.

"I'm so sad. Can you come and accompany me?"

It sounds like a man's voice, which is so disgusting.

Elos grinned, his basic reason gave him such judgment.

With his eyes closed, he pulled down the letter paper that was pressed against his face. This time, Elos took a closer look at the text on the letter. The content was still the same, but the font could show more things.

The words on paper do not seem to be written with a pen, but rather like they are engraved with some kind of engraving technique. Each character is the same size and falls in the center of the paper without any bias.

From the font alone, I couldn't see anything more, so Iros gave up trying.

Turning his head, Alos found that after he read the letter paper, the world in front of him had changed.

A strange force affected his spirit, making him unaware that his body was moving, and time passed for a long time.

Ailos was no longer in place. Ailos walked to a huge tree without knowing it.

This big tree has a huge trunk unlike all other trees and a dense canopy that covers most of the sky. Ailos walked into the shadow of the trees and approached the trunk.

The force continued to exert influence on Elos, and his emotions began to be severely damaged. The damn letter not only seized his mind, but also put terrible pressure on his mind.

Elos suddenly felt so sad. He leaned against the big tree, wrapped his hands in his knees, buried his head in the middle of his legs, and burst into tears.

Joey was calling his name, "Ellos, Elos, what's wrong with you, Elos."

Elos wanted to answer Joey, but under the influence of that power, he felt so uncomfortable, so uncomfortable, heart-wrenching, and he fell into a terrible abyss.

Shouldn't I be alive?

From the beginning, I shouldn't have been born.

I killed my parents.

I should have died in that town with them...

I killed someone, I broke the law, why haven't I been tried yet?

Those who collect corpses and those who do this kind of profession are all rats in stinky ditches.

You are not worthy, you are not worthy of winning, you are not worthy of it.

The emotions were amplified and expanded little by little, swallowing Elos's heart. In the letter paper, the terrible spiritual power directly broke Elos's psychological defense line. His weak mortal will was vulnerable to the face of truly terrible power.

Joey shook Elos's shoulders. She tried very hard, and it was obvious that she was anxious. However, Elos did not look up. He hugged his legs tightly, as if that was his last blessing.

His body began to shivere constantly, and the violent hormone storm in his body began to lose control. Alos felt that he was in a solid iron room, with no light or breathing, only a deadly self.

"Wake up, Ailos, wake up."

Someone is still calling me, but who is that person?

Elos had already begun to not be able to distinguish Joey's appearance, he only remembered the blurry afterimage floating in his ears.

Joey followed Elos all the way. She had released at least three magic techniques on Elos. This magic called the magic technique can effectively relieve mental tension and neurasthenia, and also has a certain healing effect on spiritual invasion, but it is completely useless on Elos.

The power surged and began to slowly devour Elos's mind.

Joey was still trying the last method. She cut her fingers and blood flowed out. She began to use the forbidden elemental spell.

Taking blood as a mantra has been extremely dangerous since ancient times, because once one uses one's own blood to establish a deep connection with the elements between heaven and earth, the distortion and madness of this world will also affect oneself more deeply with this deep connection, and the risks are huge.

But just as extraordinary power requires extraordinary price, extraordinary price can also trigger extraordinary power.

Joey put her chips on the gambling table. She began to meditate and then began to recite the spell seriously for the first time. The blood of her fingers began to condense in the air, and a blood mist-shaped chain began to appear around Joey.
