Chapter Sowing, Raising Pigs, Raising Ducks, Feeding Fish ()

(This year is the New Year, I wish you all a happy New Year and all the best!^_^)

April 6, 1590. Morning.

The sun is bright everywhere, and the endless hope of Wuzhai Fort is pregnant.

There were sounds of horse hooves, and several fast horses passed by on the small path in the fields. On both sides of the path were countless newly reclaimed land. At this time, many people were already busy on those lands. Seeing a few riders coming, many people looked up and greeted each other respectfully after seeing the visitor.

These riders are Huang Laifu, Gu Yunniang, Jiang Dazhong and Yang Xiaolu. These days, they often go out to inspect various places.

When he arrived in front of a house, Huang Laifu's horse whip whip blew a crisp sound in the air and slowly stopped the horse. Gu Yunniang, Jiang Dazhong and Yang Xiaolu behind him also stopped the horse slowly.

Huang Laifu got off the horse, and Gu Yunniang also jumped off the horse. She wore a red cloak today, which made her look a bit heroic and savory.

Since Huang Laifu held her little hand that day, Gu Yunniang's feelings for Huang Laifu have risen sharply. During these times, Gu Yunniang accompanied Huang Laifu to run around the various farms of Wuzhaibao every day, and every time he went to various places, he brought a pleasant scenery. Now everyone in Wuzhaibao privately said that the two were made of heaven, and they were handsome and beautiful. Some people compared the two to golden boys and jade girls.

Of course, after hearing these words, Gu Yunniang was only secretly happy.

Huang Laifu got off his horse, led by Jiang Dazhong, and walked side by side with Gu Yunniang into the house. The house was surrounded by some earthen walls, and there were generally some thatched houses and ground nests inside, which looked quite simple.

There is no way to do this. Last year, when reclaiming the land, due to the large number of people, the tight time and heavy tasks, many places were still far from Wuzhai Fort, many military households and civilian households built some land nests in various places. This land nest was used to dig deep pits on the ground, use bricks, stones and wooden boards to build a short wall around the large pit, and then build a small house with some wood and dead grass.

However, this nest is still proven to be effective in the northern land. It does not require any construction cycle or consumes any construction costs. If there is a certain fuel supply, it can survive in a harsh environment of more than minus degrees.

Although the land nests in these farms are simple, the village peddlers finally have a place to settle down. With hope right in front of them, the village peddlers are still very satisfied. After the farming work is busy, everyone will talk about repairs. Of course, some military village peddlers from Wuzhai Fort sometimes go back to Wuzhai Fort to rest. Most of the people who settle down here every day are some households and refugee village peddlers.

This seemingly simple place is Wuzhaibao No. 1 Farm. Wuzhaibao No. 1 Farm is the largest farm in Wuzhaibao, with nearly 20,000 acres of land and nearly 500 people in it.

According to the system set by Huang Laifu, these 500 people are divided into five large garrisons, each large garrison is divided into ten small garrisons, each small garrison has one small garrison leader, each large garrison leader is one large garrison leader, and one deputy garrison leader. Five hundred people have one chief garrison leader and one deputy garrison leader. The reason why the name Datun and Xiaotun is used is also the result of Huang Laifu's thinking, reducing the taste of military meaning.

In each large town, the chief of the Datun is in charge of farming and foreign affairs, and the deputy chief of the deputy chief of the civil disputes, with clear powers. He is responsible for every level of responsibility, and the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the chief of the colony, and the chief of the chief of the chief of the colony is directly responsible to Huang Laifu.

There is also one supervisory station in each farm, one supervisor, and 10 supervisory stations are in charge of inspecting the farm every day, responsible for supervising the working conditions in the farm, assessing whether each person is diligent and lazy, etc., and as the basis for the monthly monthly grain annual reward.

This supervision is also directly responsible to Huang Laifu, and is generally held by people close to and trusted by the Huang family.

To be honest, Huang Laifu didn't know how effective this system was after the formulation of this system. After all, these resident people were used to being disbanded, unorganized, and undisciplined military households, and some were refugees. Suddenly they were organized in some to carry out work similar to collective labor. These small peasants were used to thinking, who knew if they would get used to it and work hard.

Moreover, many of the large and small town chiefs were originally ordinary military households of Wuzhai Fort. At most, people in the fort had a slightly outstanding reputation and had richer farming experience, but whether they had this management ability was also a problem. However, Huang Laifu had no talent in his hands, so he had to settle it like this first and slowly adjust it in the future.

In any case, Huang Laifu formulated some regulations, hoping to make up for this shortcoming with severe reward and punishment measures.

He stipulated that in normal times, whether it is the usual garrison leader or the garrison, the basic monthly grain is five dou. He implemented the third-class treatment system implemented in his own Datianzhuang, namely the first-class garrison system, the second-class garrison system, and the third-class garrison system.

The same measures as Huang Laifu Datianzhuang, but the number of people has expanded a little. In the first farm of Wuzhaibao, the first-class garrison will be rated 10 people per month, with the salary of 2 shi per person per month and 1 tael of silver. The second-class garrison will be rated 50 people, with the monthly grain of 1 shi per person per month. The rest are rated 3 shi per person, with the monthly grain of 5 shi per person per month. The treatment and performance are Lagou, whether you are a garrison or a garrison.

The annual prize is the same as the measures of Huang Laifu Datianzhuang. If the first-class garrison and second-class garrison can remain unchanged for at least 7 months, five days before the New Year, the first-class garrison will be rewarded with 5 taels of silver, one fat pig, three chickens, three ducks, five kilograms of salt, and 20 kilograms of wine. The second-class garrison will be rewarded with 5 kilograms of silver, 10 kilograms of pork, 1 chicken, 1 duck, 2 kilograms of salt, and 5 kilograms of wine. The third-class garrison will be rewarded with 5 kilograms of pork before the New Year.

The tuition award is the responsibility of the supervisory station. At the end of each tuition, the performance of each tuition chief is evaluated. If the tuition chief believes that the tuition comments on the supervisory station are unfair, they can respond to Huang Laifu.

The difference between the treatment of the garrison chief and the ordinary garrison chief is the year-end bonus. Huang Laifu stipulates that the farm has 20,000 mu of land, if the average yield per mu reaches one stone (the yield per mu is about 200 kilograms), the ordinary garrison chief will reward one stone at the end of the year, the small garrison chief will reward three stones of grain, the large garrison chief will reward five stones of grain, the general garrison chief will reward ten stones of grain.

If the average yield per mu reaches two stones, ordinary residents will reward 3 stones of grain at the end of the year, small towns will reward 10 stones of grain, large towns will reward 20 stones of grain, general towns will reward 50 stones of grain.

If the average yield per mu reaches three shi, ordinary residents will reward 10 shi of grain at the end of the year, small troughs will reward 20 shi, large troughs will reward 50 shi, general troughs will reward 100 shi.

Of course, if the average yield per mu cannot reach five buckets, the heads of the main town, the heads of the big town, and the heads of the small town will be hit by whipping. The heads of the main town and the supervisor will receive 20 whips, the heads of the big town will receive 10 whips, and the heads of the small town will receive 5 whips. If this is the case in the second year, the heads of the main town, the heads of the big town, and the heads of the small town will all be fired.

Huang Laifu has made very strict reward and punishment regulations. As for the effect, it depends on the autumn. (To be continued)
