Chapter 247 The Devil Out of the Cage
Argentina.
It was late at night, and there were almost no pedestrians on the street. The dim street lights illuminated the narrow sidewalk miserably, and the houses with light on both sides were shining with hideous outlines.
A fashionable blonde beauty was hand-coated in her denim pocket, walking leisurely on the dark street. She put her cell phone in her ear and chatted with the person opposite the phone about trivial topics.
The manhole cover on the brick and stone road was pushed away from below and slowly moved to the side. The woman with disheveled hair and messy black hair crawled out from below. She was dirty all over and covered with filth from the sewer. Her coat could barely tell that it might have been white. After crawling out, she looked around and quickly locked onto the woman who was talking to her back.
She came out, covered the manhole cover again, then rushed quickly behind the blonde woman, and turned her over with her shoulder.
Maybe it was her dirty and messy image, coupled with the quiet background at night, which was so easy to remind people of some old-fashioned horror movies, the blonde beauty couldn't help screaming when she turned her head and saw her. The woman in white had to try to appease the frightened lady, showing her as friendly as possible, and said in English: "Please, I just need your phone."
boom!
The cover of the sewer shaft covered by her flew high like a tank gun from the inside. The scorching pillar of fire soared into the sky from the sewer, like a fire dragon that took off vertically. The cover of the shaft covered by the heated iron red fell from the sky and was seriously deformed when it fell back to the ground.
The woman in white lost her patience. She yelled "Give me a damn cell phone", punched the blonde in the face, violently avoiding the cell phone. She shouted "Escape quickly", and the woman turned her head and ran away in a panic.
Time was too long. The woman in white muttered incoherently. She operated her phone as quickly as possible with her trembling fingers and dialed a string of numbers. After dialing, she put the phone in her ear and said something very quickly, but the voice was drowned by the blasting sound that followed. The ground was blown open in a loud bang, and red and hot steel bars pierced from the ground. A shadow came out of the sea of fire. It was a hot man with red light under his skin, as if every muscle fiber in his body was burning.
The woman pressed a button on her phone vigorously, and saw the words "Information has been sent" popping up on the screen. She couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
"Thank God," she said.
The man raised his hand. The boundless golden flame burst out from his palm, instantly submerging the woman's figure. The high temperature of thousands of degrees instantly evaporated her, leaving only a charred pit on the ground.

Tony Stark impatiently swept the things on the experimental table to the floor, then he curled a set of new armor design drawings from the floating screen in front of him into a ball and threw them into the garbage can icon in the corner of the interface.
This is the 37th design he has rejected these days - just after he came up with these 37 design plans.
It is far from enough. No matter what method is used, Iron Man is far from reaching the goal he expected. It is true that he is a genius. His inventions and creations are ahead of the world for the entire generation, but this is still far from enough. After all, the current level of human science and technology is still limited. No matter how hard he racks his brains, he cannot use these limited materials and technology to match the gods.
"Maybe you should take the captain's advice, sir." Jarvis said gently while directing the robot to help him clean up the messy equipment parts on the floor, "You may need a break."
Tony sat in the seat irritably and didn't say anything.
As he told the captain, he was no longer patient.
It is very obvious that Iron Man is still far from protecting the earth and resisting various highest crises. But he can't do it, but someone else can do it.
Black Knight.
The first time I met that guy was when I was fighting with Aldridge Killian. The desperate virus made him realize the limitations of Iron Man's technology for the first time, and it was also the first time he was defeated head-on. However, when facing Iron Man's completely powerless opponent, the Black Knight defeated Killian in a few seconds, so easy it was like playing.
If that time was just an indirect comparison, then the time in the Avengers Building would be much more intuitive.
Ultron controlled all his armor in the Avengers Building and launched an attack together. Facing so many sets of Iron Man armor, the Black Knight almost broke all the armor he was proud of, like chopping melons and vegetables. There was even an anti-Hulk - although the suit was not completed at the time, it already possessed the basic abilities he had imagined. However, the anti-Hulk armor, which had been equipped with multiple reactors and obtained the ultimate horsepower, was still punched by the Black Knight with one hand. This shows that the conventional armor of the Black Knight has obtained horsepower that is comparable to that of the anti-Hulk, and it also shows that the opponent's technology has surpassed the Iron Man in all aspects.
Finally, it was the latest time in Asgard. Tony and Thor fought against Loki, but there was no room for retaliation in Loki's hands. To be fair, Loki is indeed the most powerful enemy he has ever faced since he became Iron Man. The dominant oppression is not on the same level as any enemy so far. This is the first enemy that makes him feel "no sense of combat". It is a strength gap that cannot be made up no matter what tactical strategy is used.
Then the Black Knight again, and the man stood up again, and this time he changed into a set of more magical armor. He fought against Loki with that suit, and it was hard to distinguish. Tony didn't even know if this guy could be considered a human.
So yes, he was indeed stimulated. He needed powerful power more than ever.
But after more than ten days of continuous efforts in the laboratory, it was obvious that his progress was not going well.
He didn't know how to improve Iron Man's skills to that level.
"Sir," said Jarvis, "you have an urgent message."
"Come in." Tony rubbed his nose tiredly.
The line was connected, and a woman's voice came out through the lab's stereo surround speaker. She breathed in a mess and her tone was rapid, sounding like she was talking while being chased by a hungry wolf.
