Chapter 142: Infiltrate Paso Technology

Selyn Bar.

Valen Gilliano is one of the directors of the Paso company. According to Jessica's investigation, Gilliano always likes to spend his weekends in this humble little bar.

Jessica walked into the bar, glanced around, and quickly locked in the prey. She walked in, sat down at the bar not far from Gilliano's location, and asked the bartender for a glass of Martini.

She didn't dress up specifically, nor did she change into a dress that showed a little feminine characteristics. She still only wore jackets, jeans, and black leather boots. (In fact, Jessica Jones didn't know how to dress up) but she looked good, so she could also act very lethal to the opposite sex when she wanted it.

"The night is still long." A gentle man sat down beside her, pretending to hold the wine glass, "Bored, Miss?"

Jessica rolled his eyes with a slanted look.

"Sorry, I'm looking for some more specific types." She refused bluntly, "That type is obviously not you."

The man was bored and went there. When Jessica patiently drank the second cup of Martini, Valen Gilliano finally moved to her.

"Would you like to ask me to treat you a drink?"

Finally taking the bait, Jessica almost got impatient. She smiled and said, "Of course, who can refuse such a gentle request from a man?"

She spent about half an hour with him to pull up a bunch of topics that seemed to her as a waste of time. However, the guy seemed so excited that he didn't even notice that Jessica added some ingredients to his drink. Finally, Jessica offered to him the hope that he could take him home, and of course the gentleman agreed happily.

However, Mr. Gilliano failed to fulfill his promise after all. He sat in the driver's seat for only three seconds and lay on the steering wheel in a dizzy manner, unconscious.

"I'm sorry, idiot." Jessica shrugged and took out the tools she had prepared. She walked away from the ID card used by the other party's inner pocket to enter and exit the company and extracted his fingerprints so that she could go back to make a fingerprint film to deal with the fingerprint lock in the building.

After all, Paso is still a civilian company. No matter how advanced its system facilities are, they are still ordinary employees rather than spies. The security level cannot be comparable to real military facilities. Finding and exploiting loopholes is precisely the area where private detectives are best at, especially excellent detectives like Jessica.

Her plan was very successful, but in fact it was unexpectedly successful. At first, she just tried to get into the Paso building with the mentality of "trying first, can't say it," but what she didn't expect was that everything would go so smoothly.

As expected, she thought the guard might ask her why she was holding Mr. Gilliano's door card. The argument she made up was that she was a relative of Mr. Gilliano and she came to his office to help him get a lost thing.

As a result, the guard on duty was dozing at the door, looking sleepy and didn't even ask her. After she swiped the card, the entrance opened automatically, and the guard didn't even raise his head.

The door card and fingerprint film helped her pass the levels, and she took the elevator to the floor where the archives room was located. Generally speaking, the key information and archives will have records of electronic information and paper documents in the company, but since Jessica is not very good at computers, she can only choose a more primitive method.

She successfully entered the archives room, perhaps because it was too late, she didn't meet a single figure along the way. All this went a little too smooth, and she felt it was a bit unnatural.

In any case, she came to her destination. AXCR-3920, and according to the numbered letter index, she really found the relevant records. She took out the corresponding files from the filing cabinet, spread them on the floor, and looked through them page by page with flashlight.

The specific content of the AXCR-3920 project seems to be about a high-end machine. Most of the content written in it is high-end content such as mechanical principles and design, and most of them are things that Jessica knows nothing about. After reading two pages, she felt that she was like a heavenly book.

Although Jessica Jones is not a scientist, she is a detective and a pretty good detective. Although she can't understand most of the contents in the file, she still used her expertise to pick out some information that is valuable to her from these complex things, and some information that may become key clues.

She recorded the information she thought might be useful into the phone memo, closed the cover and put the file back in place. Then she gently exited the archives room and turned back towards the elevator along the original road.

Everything went smoothly, except for a small trouble on the way back - she accidentally encountered a night patrol guard on the corner of the corridor.

"Who are you?" The guard immediately became alert, "This area is prohibited from entering and leaving at will. What are you doing here?"

Jessica was ignorant: "I...uh... come to see Mr. Paso."

"His office is not on this floor. And I think he should have come home from get off work now." The guard picked up his arms and looked at her coldly.

"Yes...ah, of course you will feel that way. Because Mr. Paso... Michael doesn't want anyone to know that he's still here." Jessica tried to squeeze out a smile naturally, "Look, Michael and he... have a special relationship. But you also know that he is a person who hates gossip. So I think if he knows that you are asking me for trouble here, and if things get big, it may not be very good for everyone."

The guard raised his eyebrows and looked at her suspiciously.

To be honest, he actually knows almost nothing about what kind of person Michael Paso, the boss of the company, is. But if you think about it carefully, a young and promising successful person like Mr. Paso, it seems normal to have one or two lovers... No, it should be said that it is abnormal to have none of them.

After a closer look, this woman is indeed pretty and has a good figure, but her dress is a bit unfeminine, but she may not be sure that Mr. Paso happens to like this type of person?

The guard on duty was in a dilemma. In theory, he should not let go of any suspicious elements found on this floor, but what if this woman really had an affair with the boss, he stopped him by himself and made the boss angry and finally lost his job?

But for him, luckily, this problem will soon be a headache for him.

Someone patted his shoulder from behind.

"Thank you, but your responsibilities are enough to end here. Just leave them to me next."

The sound was not loud, but it had the courage to speak out. The guard turned around and was surprised to see that the boss Michael Paso was standing silently behind him.

"Yes, sir." Since the boss had spoken to the night patrol guard, he naturally stopped talking and turned around and left quickly.

Only Jessica and Michael were left in the corridor.

Jessica Jones raised her eyebrows.

Very good. The real owner is here, and it's so embarrassing now.
