Chapter 321 Parting(1/2)

On the edge of the black lake, a large group of people in black robes gathered in a dense crowd. They stared at the ghost ship that was constantly roaring in the lake.

A week has passed since that terrible night, but the memory of that night is forever etched in everyone's mind.

Because, that night, they lost a rising Quidditch star.

Viktor Krum.

This big boy who was cold on the outside and hot on the inside left his friends and relatives forever.

Mike was also in the procession seeing off Durmstrang and Krum.

He was not present when Krum was sent out, so he could not imagine the reaction of Krum's parents at that time.

But presumably, when Klum's mutilated body appeared in front of them, their hearts must have been desperate.

This can be seen from Klum's father's hair, which turned white overnight.

"I'm sorry about Krum, Sinak."

At the front of the crowd, Dumbledore said this to an old man with a scar on his face.

The old man named Sinak came from Durmstrang Magic School overnight after the incident and was responsible for bringing all the students, including Krum's body, back to the school safely.

As for Karkaroff, the original teacher and principal, he disappeared immediately after the incident.

And his disappearance also put him on a wanted list.

This is not surprising. The events that occurred in the Triwizard Tournament were blamed entirely on the Death Eaters by the Ministry of Magic. As a former Death Eater, Karkaroff disappeared from the world as soon as the incident happened, so naturally he

became the prime suspect.

But only a few people, including Mike, knew that Karkaroff had nothing to do with this incident. The reason why he disappeared was entirely because he felt the resurrection of Voldemort through the Death Eater mark on his arm.

I hid out of fear.

However, Mike naturally would not tell this matter.

Even if he told him, Fudge wouldn't believe it, because Fudge was going crazy during this period.

In order to convince Dumbledore to deny the fact that Voldemort had been resurrected, he ran to the principal's office almost every day, but failed every time.

He even went to Mike specifically, hoping that Mike, the client, could stand on his side, and promised to give Mike his huge reputation and more preferential policies from the Los Santos Magic Group.

However, these were rejected by Mike without hesitation.

In Mike's view, these benefits provided by Fudge are just empty promises, because although Fudge seems to be as good as before, with the return of Voldemort, he is not far from stepping down.

Therefore, there is no need for Mike to be hypocritical.

Faced with Mike's somewhat rude rejection, Fudge was extremely angry. Mike believed that if they had not been talking in the crowded Ravenclaw lounge, Fudge would have cursed.

That day, Fudge left Hogwarts with a gloomy face and never came back again.

And in the following days, he continued to use his power to attack Dumbledore and Mike.

Of course, this is all a story for later.

At this moment, on the shore of the Black Lake, the old man named Sinak showed no sign of Dumbledore's apology. He just nodded expressionlessly and then walked towards the ghost ship.

While passing through the crowd coming to see him off at Hogwarts, he gave Harry a slightly meaningful look, which made Harry very uncomfortable.

Due to Rita Skeeter's previous reports about his complicated romance with Hermione and Krum, many people believed that Krum died in the maze entirely because Harry wanted to regain Hermione's love.

Moved hands and feet out of love.

Although Dumbledore and many professors had already issued statements refuting the rumors, the students represented by Malfoy who had trouble with Harry were obviously more willing to believe the previous version of the story.

These people continued to spread the news to others, which made more and more people in the school look at Harry strangely, and even some tabloids outside the school began to report on the matter.

Fortunately, Klum's parents are not unreasonable people.

They ignored the rumors from the outside world and silently accepted that their son died as a result of the accident.

They even went to comfort Harry when the rumors intensified, which moved Harry very much.

As the other protagonist in this rumor incident, Hermione was not so lucky.

Her popularity was not very good to begin with, and after this incident, she was even more boycotted by all the students at Hogwarts. Now no one wants to get close to her at all. The three meters around her have become a vacuum zone. Everyone regards her as

She regarded beauty as a disaster and a source of disaster.

Hermione herself was naturally in great pain about this. Although she was used to being alone, the cold violence being ignored by almost everyone still made her uncomfortable.

Ron was much happier in comparison.

Ever since Hermione became Krum's dance partner on Christmas, he has changed from Krum's number one fan to his most vicious fan. Krum's death and Hermione's experience made him happy and inspired, and now

He would kiss his Indian girlfriend in front of Hermione every day as if to show off.

Hermione was deeply disgusted with Ron's behavior, and she tried her best to avoid Ron every time. Unfortunately, Ron was like a hunting dog, always able to find traces of Hermione, and performed that same thing again in front of her.

A disgusting scene.

Shaking his head to get rid of the random thoughts in his mind, Mike looked at the ghost ship gradually disappearing on the lake and sighed deeply.

In fact, he had to bear considerable responsibility for Krum's death. If he could have taken some protective measures at that time, or stayed where he was for a while, Krum might not have died.

But he had no choice. The situation at that time did not allow him to do more for Klum.

"Don't be too sad. Krum's death was just an accident."

Penelo's gentle voice came from beside him. Mike turned around and saw Penelo looking at him with a distressed look on his face.

Mike didn't reply, just nodded and smiled.

Mike's smile was a little forced, which made Penello even more worried, because Mike had been looking so sullen and serious this week.

The Weasley brothers next to them looked at each other, their eyes rolled around for a while and then they came up with an idea.

I saw them dragging Harry, who was a little confused, to Mike's side, and said with a playful smile:

"Hey! Mike! We're going to see Hagrid later, how about you come with us?"

"That's right! Mike! Harry wants to go with you. Right Harry?"

"ah?"

Hearing this, Harry opened his mouth with confusion on his face, but when he saw the Weasley brothers winking at him crazily, he immediately reacted and said:

"That's right, Mike! Come with us, it's spring already, and you'll get sick if you stay in the castle!"

"I……"

Mike was about to refuse, but he still had a lot of preparation work to do in the face of Voldemort's resurrection.

But as soon as he opened his mouth, the Weasley brothers grabbed him on the left and right, dragging him toward the Forbidden Forest and saying:

"Come on, come on, what you need now is to relax!"

Knowing that they had good intentions, although Mike could easily break away from the two of them with his current physical condition, he did not do so.

Mike just smiled and said:

"Okay, I'll just go, let me go."

The Weasley brothers smiled at each other and let go of Mike.

As a result, the four of them rushed to Hagrid's hut. As for Penello, she returned to the dormitory to rest because her relatives were here.

Hagrid was very unlucky during this period. On the night of the Triwizard Tournament, Barty Jr. sneaked into Hagrid's hut and knocked him down while Hagrid was changing clothes.

Because of Hagrid's large size and giant bloodline, Barty Jr. killed him.

According to the description of the students who discovered Hagrid, Hagrid's blood was flowing everywhere at that time, and the floor of the entire hut was covered with semi-coagulated plasma. They almost thought that Hagrid was dead because there was no one in their minds.

To survive after losing so much blood.

Fortunately, Barty had underestimated Hagrid's size, and the people sent by Professor McGonagall found Hagrid immediately and brought him back to the infirmary. Otherwise, the half-giant might have died on the spot.

.

Today is the day Hagrid is discharged from hospital, so Harry and others decided to pay him a good visit.

But when everyone arrived at Hagrid's hut, they saw an astonishing scene.

Hagrid, who was still wrapped in a lot of straps, was lying on the bed like a mummy. Beside the bed, Ms. Maxim, wearing a silk black dress, was holding a large bowl and pouring a spoon into Hagrid's mouth.

What's in it?

The Weasley brothers were shocked when they saw this scene. They stuffed their right hands into their mouths hard, as if to block their mouths to prevent them from laughing.

Ms. Maxim was also startled when she saw Mike and others suddenly arriving. As a soft sound came, the wooden spoon slipped from her hand, and a blush flew onto her cheeks.

"I...I just came to see him." Maxim stood up hurriedly, wiping his hands on his gorgeous silk skirt, "Don't get me wrong!"

After saying that, he left the hut as if running away.

"We will not misunderstand! Madame Maxime!"

The Weasley brothers said in unison, but where she couldn't see them, they were giving Hagrid a weird thumbs up.

Because there were a lot of bandages on his face, Mike couldn't see clearly the expression on Hagrid's face, but judging from the weird laughter that came from his mouth from time to time, he should be in a pretty good mood at the moment.

"Seriously, don't talk nonsense when you go back." After laughing for a while, the muffled voice came from Hagrid's mouth again, "Otherwise, Olim will be very troubled."
