Chapter 137 The naval battle under the sun

On April 15, 1943, the Mediterranean sunlight gently shone on the sea. Several seagulls flew across the sea, shaking waves. The Royal Navy's battleship Revenge and five destroyers were carrying out patrol missions along the coastline of North Africa.

For the officers and soldiers of the British Royal Navy, such patrols can only be considered a boring pastime. The British sailors stayed casually at their posts to pass the time, some bragging about how beautiful their horses were and how sexy their wives were. Some leaned against the wall and dozed off, while others gathered together to play poker cards.

Because the British senior officials were afraid of affecting morale, they concealed the news that Malta was occupied by the Germans. These British sailors did not know that Malta had fallen and the Malta fleet was captured by the Germans. In their eyes, the German navy could only be regarded as a little kid sitting on the bathtub in the stream. As for the Italian navy, the British defied it. In front of the British navy, the combat effectiveness of the Italian army was not as good as the African indigenous people holding dog-beating sticks.

In the command room on the battleship of the Revenge, the British Royal Navy Colonel, the captain of the battleship of the Revenge, Hodor, was lying on the sun loungers in the command room, basking in the warm sunshine. While smoking Havana cigars imported from Cuba, drinking Coca-Cola imported from the United States, listening to the Irish tunes emitted from the radio, shaking his head and enjoying it. For Hodor, he enjoyed the most during his service in North Africa, and he didn't have to worry that the German navy would attack him. The guys in the Pacific were more miserable, and he had to fight with a nation shorter than winter melon and more garbage every day.

Suddenly, the sound of "boom, boom" engine came from the air. The officers and soldiers of the British Royal Navy looked up in confusion and saw a few black dots flying towards them in the distance of the sky. Someone whispered loudly, "Look, everyone! What is that."

British soldiers armor "That's a fly"

British Soldier B "That's a Seagull"

British soldier C "I think it's an eagle"

British soldier "I paid a hundred pounds, that's Superman"

British Soldier A "Damn! Are there Superman these days? Are you sick? I'm paying 200 pounds and that's Batman"

British Soldier Armor B "Pay! Have you two read too many novels? Are there Superman and Batman in this world? Don't just talk about the things in the novel, just have some realistic things. I'll pay 300 pounds and that's UFO."

"Oh my God," a British lieutenant holding a telescope shouted, "Come on the alarm! Catch on the alarm! Stuka dive bomber, which is a German." But the lieutenant's shouting did not make any reaction from the British soldiers. No one would believe that the German airplane appeared here, and someone retorted, "Brother, today is not April 1, have you drunk too much? Are you wrong with the German airplane appearing here?"

But what happened next made them believe the words of the British second lieutenant. When the British were inexplicably surprised, 15 Stuka dive bombers flew over the battleship of the Revenge. Then the dive sounds of Stuka dive bombers were heard, and 15 Stukas began to attack the battleship of the Revenge. The bombs on the plane were thrown at the battleship of the Revenge, arousing water columns. One of the bombs accurately hit the bow of the battleship of the Revenge, and the bomb penetrated the fore deck and exploded inside the hull. The entire battleship of the Revenge swayed in the huge explosion.

While the battleship of the Revenge was attacked, five destroyers around were attacked by Stuka dive bombers, and one of them was hit by the ammunition depot. The entire destroyer experienced a deafening explosion. After the explosion, the destroyer also sank into the Mediterranean in the package of thick smoke. All the officers and soldiers on the ship were killed, except for a captain who was sent back to the land for peeking at the soldiers taking a bath.

After the bomb attack, Stuka dive bombers began to dive again, using machine guns on the plane to strafuse the British warships to suppress the anti-aircraft artillery fire on the warships. Under Stuka's sudden attack, the British were stunned and almost did not organize any effective resistance. Only a very small number of anti-aircraft artillery fire were counterattacking.

After all the ammunition was fired, the Stuka dive bombers lined up in an orderly manner and showed off their might.

Hodder lies on the floor to escape, but his command room has been riddled with holes by the machine gun on Stuka. The front deck of the Revenge continues to emit smoke, and the entire hull is tilting slightly. Hodder exclaimed, "My God! Who can tell me what happened? Am I dreaming? I didn't take pills or drink alcohol today. I only sucked a few cigars and drank a few sips of Coca-Cola. Could it be that this would also be hallucinations."

"Col. Hodder" Hodder's adjutant rolled and crawled into the command room, shouting, "Col. Hodder, we were attacked by German dive bombers, and all the warships were injured. A destroyer had been sunk. What should we do now?" Hodder then woke up in horror and ordered, "Send SOS to the top immediately, saying that we were attacked by the Germans. A destroyer had been sunk, we need reinforcements, and reinforcements. Damn, where did the Germans emerge from,"

"Boom" Just as Huoder gave the order, an explosion suddenly came from a destroyer on the flank of the battleship of the Revenge. After this explosion, the destroyer exploded again. The blazing flames instantly covered the destroyer, but the explosion did not end. The destroyer experienced a third more violent explosion. The entire destroyer became a fireball, and it seemed that the ammunition depot was ignited by the flames. After three consecutive explosions, the destroyer finally sank into the sea with waves.

"It's a submarine." Huoder shouted, "Let the warships avoid it and inform all warships to be careful of the enemy's submarines." Huoder felt extremely frightened at this time. The battleship he brought out, five destroyers, were inexplicably blown and sunk two destroyers. The unsinkable warship seemed to be incompletely injured. The front deck of the battleship Revenge he commanded was seriously damaged and it would be undergone a major repair after returning. The destroyer next to him also emitted thick smoke, and it looked very bad. But now the German submarine was below. But what scared Huoder the most was how the German planes emerged. Could it be that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hodder immediately waived this idea. It was impossible for the Germans to produce aircraft carriers in a short period of time. Even if there were, it would be impossible to reach the Mediterranean under the blockade of the Royal Navy of the British Empire.

But what happened next made Huoder stunned for a long time. He saw a fleet appearing on the sea in the distance. Huoder felt very confused. It seemed that only his own fleet was patrolling in the sea. Huoder raised the telescope hanging on his body and immediately screamed in surprise, "Oh my God! Isn't this the USS Glory, the USS Victory, and the battleship of King George V of the British King? Aren't they on the Island of Malta? How could they appear here?"

When Hodeer saw the military flag flying on the USS Glory aircraft carrier, he screamed again, "What kind of flag is this!" He saw that there was a military flag that Hodeer had never seen before on these British Empire warships. (A eagle surrounded by cockroaches, bed bugs, flies, termites, mosquitoes, rats, locusts). Hodeer was surprised. Where is the military flag? Are the warships of the British Empire captured by the Martians?

Just as Huodeer was puzzled, the first mate ran into the command room and shouted, "No! Colonel Huodeer, the German fleet is driving across from him. What should we do now?" Huodeer asked with a frown and said, "How do you know that it is a German warship, and I have seen the German naval flag, it is not like this."

The first mate replied, "Col. Colonel Hodder, those warships are hung with the flags of the German Pest Army, which are special symbols of the troops belonging to the German Army General Rich von Gersyun. I have been wondering recently that I have not broadcast the news of Malta for the past few days. I also want to know if the Germans occupied the island of Malta, and I am escorting my daughter's dowry. Now it seems that the Germans have occupied the island of Malta and captured our Malta fleet. What should we do now?"

After listening to the first mate quietly, Hodeer looked at the approaching German fleet ahead. Looking at his already smoking warship and the destroyer that was on fire next to him. Hodeer understood that it was impossible for him to escape, either surrender or die in battle.

"Col. Hodder" said the first mate holding the telescope, "The Germans are urging the banner and asking us to raise the white flag and play the national anthem. What should we do now?"

After hearing the first lieutenant's shout, Hodder was shocked. He looked up at the Stuka dive bomber flying again in the air. Thinking of the German submarines under the water, and then looking at the German fleet ahead. Hodder understood that as the highest commander, he had to make a decision. But how should he decide? Should he surrender or die in battle.
