Chapter 592: Buddha or Demon
Qin He was immediately asked.
If any group wants to live a better life, it is inevitable that individuals in the group will make some sacrifices and concessions.
For example, abiding by the rules, for example, limited self-interest.
This is really a lot to say, and it goes far beyond simply suppressing greed and laziness.
If individuals do whatever they want, the group will become a jungle.
At first glance, I feel that there is nothing wrong with what the Buddha said.
This world is indeed like a paradise, at least compared to the outside world.
But when he thought about it carefully, Qin He couldn't help but shake his head.
Laziness and greed are the first driving forces for invention and creation. They are not useless, nor are they only negative.
People felt that plowing the fields was too tiring, so they tamed the oxen and invented the plow.
People found it too tiring to carry a hand on their shoulders, so they tamed the horse and invented the wheel and cart.
People longed for food, clothing, and warmth, so they engaged in planting, animal husbandry, and textiles.
There is such a problem in this part of the world. There are herds of cattle and sheep, but there are no oxen or plows, let alone cars.
Going out is all about walking, and transportation is all about shoulders.
And there are almost no new houses, which proves that the population here has not grown.
Why?
Because greed and desire are one and the same, without greed there would be no desire.
First let’s talk about how people come?
It’s not like the couple solemnly discuss how big a house they want and how much land they want to support their children, and then we plan how many children to have.
But during the long nights, when we had no intention of sleeping, we would say something like a bastard to you and a bitch to me, and then we would feel comfortable with each other.
After you feel comfortable, people will come.
Even sometimes when the desire is strong, everyone will help each other.
Never mind whether this is moral or immoral.
This is at least helpful for the reproduction of the species.
If any species loses greed and desire, there is no need to talk about perfection. First of all, its inheritance will have big problems.
On another level, greed and desire are actually the roots of happiness.
I want to eat something delicious, and when I eat it, I feel happy.
If you want to learn something and get a good name, you will succeed and be very happy.
I wanted to share my genes, and I succeeded, and I am very happy.
When will people be happy?
That is when desire and greed are satisfied.
Although it will be painful if you don't have what you want, these are two sides of the same coin.
Without happiness, what is perfection?
This problem also exists in this world.
Most people are born to do two things, plow fields and worship Buddha.
Although I am generally well-fed and clothed, it is hard to say happiness, even less happiness. Junquge
The cultivators sweat like rain, slash and burn, work at sunrise and rest at sunset, this is the case from generation to generation.
Like pain, smile is also a rarity in this world, and is more of a peaceful numbness.
"Isn't it right?" asked the Buddha.
"That's not right." Qin He shook his head and argued: "If what you mean by perfection is true, then a pig in captivity can also be said to live in a perfect world. It also has food, drink and shelter."
"But it's for eating meat!" the Buddha retorted.
"It doesn't have to work. If you give up, you will get something, right?" Qin He smiled, and then said: "A perfect world is not about castrating desires, but about reasonable distribution; work is rewarded, and people are happy; karma is high and low.
But there is no high or low."
The Buddha was silent and frowned.
After a long while, it asked: "Have you ever seen a perfect world?"
"No." Qin He shook his head.
"Then how do you know?" the Buddha asked.
"I don't know, but I know that if a person spends his life numbly and hard, it will never be perfect. At most, he is just alive." Qin He said.
"So, I lost?" Big Buddha looked at Qin He.
"It's not a loss. At least they are still alive in your world, and you seem to have done one thing right. You have eliminated all cultivation methods."
Qin Hedao paused and asked with a little curiosity: "So you can tell me, is there any connection between your transformation of this world and the coming of Nirvana?"
The so-called dharma is the cessation of all dharma.
Except for itself, this world of the Great Buddha is all peaceful Dharma.
If there was no connection, Qin He wouldn't believe it.
"This is the second question I want to discuss with the immortal. Am I a Buddha or a demon?"
"In other words, what is a Buddha and what is a demon?" the Buddha asked seriously.
Qin He paused again, his heart pounding, and he said a little tired.
If I hadn't watched so many shadow puppet shows, I would have experienced a thousand flavors of life.
It's really a bit overwhelming to sit down and discuss things.
Qin He cheered up and answered: "Buddha, saves all sentient beings and benefits others; demons, harms the world and benefits oneself."
"Then if gods and Buddhas abandon all sentient beings, see death without saving them, and flee into the abyss, do they still deserve to be called gods and Buddhas?" the Buddha asked again.
"Not worthy." Qin He shook his head, thinking that the highlight seemed to be coming.
"Then I have a bad reputation, shelter a pure land, and seek perfect order. Am I a devil or a Buddha?"
"To the outside, you are a devil because you kill without any thought; to the inside, you are barely a Buddha."
"The Pure Land is not allowed to be known by outsiders, let alone set foot in it, so... I have no choice." The Buddha defended.
"Understood." Qin He nodded.
"Then am I a demon or a Buddha?" the Buddha asked.
Qin He sank for a moment and said: "It should be said that one thought can become a demon, and one thought can become a Buddha. Demons have no permanent evil, and Buddhas have no eternal saints. One moment you are a Buddha, and the next moment you may be a demon."
"So Buddha and demon should not be identities, but two states. What can measure a life is only the amount of good and evil."
The Buddha was silent, with unwillingness and hatred on its face.
This hook made Qin He's heart itch, and he became more and more curious, what is the origin of this evil spirit?
Its behavioral logic is really a bit unclear.
But Qin He didn't say anything because he was trying to see something more from the Buddha's face.
"I lost."
After a long time, the Buddha spoke. It looked at Qin He, the hatred in its eyes was undisguised, and said: "Great Immortal, you will go to the abyss, right?"
"Maybe... yes." Qin He said uncertainly.
"If you go, please bring me a word, saying that I have protected and explored the world he abandoned. In front of me and the sentient beings in this world, he is in vain and calls himself a god and Buddha."
"Bring it to...who?"
