Chapter 17 The turmoil at the seminar (4)

The voice of the man in a gray suit was not loud, but it echoed clearly in the large classroom. Kitahara stood in the middle of the classroom stairs, lowered his head slightly, looking at the dean of the Graduate School of Humanities below. Fujimura stood at the bottom.

On the podium, he raised his head slightly and stared at the man in a suit who suddenly spoke. The cold winter light in the afternoon shone through the thick glass, which happened to make the two figures facing each other slantingly longer.

Fujimura frowned, the nasolabial folds on his face became deeper, and his fingers curled up unconsciously. As the dean of the Graduate School of Humanities, he had of course encountered others challenging his authority more than once.

However, the man in a suit in front of him was obviously different.

In a sense, when someone challenges your authority, it at least shows that they take your authority seriously.

The attitude of the man in the gray suit was clearly one of naked ridicule.

Authority can be challenged, but cannot be ridiculed.

Because the former can once again demonstrate the majesty of power through suppression, while the latter will completely destroy the sanctity of power.

"Who on earth are you?" Fujimura said with a sullen face, raising his voice a bit, "I hope you will clearly understand that in public, to accuse a scholar of plagiarism for no reason is slander and slander! It is a liability.

Legally responsible! Do you know!"

"Today's universities are too indulgent to their students!" Fujimura's face trembled and he snorted coldly.

The legal threats issued by Fujimura have already made the faces of several young lecturers from the Graduate School of Humanities present turn livid. This shows that the dean’s displeasure has reached its peak. Originally, this seminar only included a few newly-hired lecturers.

The teacher, in order to flatter the dean, specially held the event for his newly published book. Now, not only did he fail to praise the dean, but he also became like this.

"Law? Interesting." Beiyuan laughed softly, raised his hand, and groped in the side pocket of his suit, as if he was looking for something, then raised his head and said to himself: "

There is a law in this world. When a person is unwilling to answer a question directly three times, then he is lying."

"For the first time, you did not respond to Hirose's question, but instead changed the topic to her mentor, Professor Shimokawa Jun."

"The second time, you didn't respond to my question. You just talked about slander and tried to change the topic to the university's management of students."

Kitahara continued to fumble with the side pocket of his suit with one hand, and pointed out three fingers with the other hand, "Now, you have failed to respond directly to the question twice in total, and there is still one more time to go."

"You!" Fujimura's eyes twitched, as if he didn't expect the man in front of him to contradict him so much. His majestic expression was a bit ungraceful. He couldn't help but take a step forward. He could clearly feel the blood rising on his face.

, and become a little reddish.

"In addition, I would like to remind the dean by the way. The elements of defamation are fictitious facts. If the content is true, it will not constitute defamation." The corners of Beihara's mouth raised slightly, with a hint of mockery, and even more

visibly radiated.

Fujimura's cold eyes fell on the man in a suit, "Since you insist on having your own way, then I can only take it seriously. University security is on the way now. You can't leave this classroom now! Wait until the security registers your names.

, I will hold you legally accountable for today’s actions!”

Hearing the dean's words, Hirose's face suddenly trembled. She looked at Kitahara and Miyagawa beside her, never expecting that her good friend would be involved.

I still end up causing trouble for others.

Hirose immediately whispered anxiously, "You should leave quickly! Don't let me drag you down. Miyagawa, take your friends and leave quickly! Leave now, nothing will happen to you."

However, as soon as Hirose finished speaking, there was a sound of footsteps outside the classroom. Several people wearing white uniforms and holding walkie-talkies appeared at the door of the lecture hall. They were university security guards. Their eyes quickly scanned the classroom.

Circle, no one else needs to tell, just by showing the dispersed positions of the circle in the audience, Hirose, Miyagawa, and Kitahara in the middle of the classroom were identified as the suspicious people disrupting the meeting place.

The security guard immediately spoke a few more words into the intercom, and then immediately divided into two teams in a well-trained manner and surrounded them from both sides of the lecture theater.

Fujimura sneered when he saw the scene of security arriving.

The turmoil at this seminar can end here.

Today is really disappointing.

Originally, I would not attend such a seminar because of my status. I only came to such a seminar because I saw the pitiful looks of those young teachers who had just joined the job and wanted to curry favor with me.

At this moment, the man in the gray suit seemed to be groping for what he was looking for in the side pocket of his suit jacket, and said quietly, "Fortunately I found it, I thought it was gone. Otherwise, I would have to go to Tokyo."

The Lawyers Association applied for a reissue and had to face that old man in Chishang again."

I saw Beihara slowly taking out a badge from his suit. It was composed of sixteen sunflower petals, with a scale in the middle. The badge seemed to have a small dent, where it had been hit by an unknown place. He

He raised his hand and pinned the badge on his suit, smiled slightly and said:

"Now, let me introduce myself formally. Giichi Kitahara, the director of Eto Law Firm in Tokyo, is a lawyer."

The scale and sunflower seal on the suit reflects the sunlight in the classroom and seems to shine brightly.

The security guards who were about to rush forward were stunned for a moment when they heard that the other party was a lawyer. They couldn't help but stop in their tracks. After seeing that he was indeed wearing a scale sunflower badge on his suit, he stopped surrounding him.

For security guards, their duty is to prevent physical disputes on campus. But when facing lawyers, this becomes a legal dispute, which is not an area they can easily get involved in.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! "Law...lawyer?!" Hearing the man in the suit introduce his identity, the audience in the venue became commotion again, as if they did not expect that things would turn out in such a direction.

Turning point.

Hirose opened his mouth slightly when he heard Kitahara introducing his identity. He couldn't believe the scene in front of him, "You...your friend is also a lawyer?!"

Dong...a lawyer from Tokyo?! Fujimura originally thought that the two people in front of him were either college students, or social friends that Hirose found from who knows where, but after learning that the man in the suit was a lawyer, he couldn't help but

surprised.

Shimokawa, this female student Hirose, actually wants to find a lawyer to deal with her.

Unexpectedly, they would counterattack to such an extent.

After quickly adjusting his surprised mood, Fujimura's sharp eyes fell on Hirose again and said loudly: "Do you think it will be useful to find a lawyer? Let me tell you Hirose! And your mentor Shimokawa! Seek external lawyers.

Open confrontation with the university will only make your situation worse!"

"Lawyers only know how to stir up trouble and intensify conflicts. I advise you to think about it carefully. If you really try to hire lawyers to fight against the university..."

Fujimura sneered again, "I'm just reminding you. The mid-term examination for the master's degree thesis in the Department of Humanities is about to start in one or two months, and your classical history teaching and research section is the key inspection target. I advise you to better

The focus is on learning.”

"The review meeting to decide whether your supervisor, Associate Professor Shimokawa, will be re-appointed will also be held at almost the same time. I believe you know what the deterioration of the relationship with the university means, and whether it will be beneficial to your supervisor."

Fujimura’s warning echoed in the lecture theater.

The dean's warning is clear. If things dare to escalate, the mid-term assessment of monk students in the Classical History Teaching and Research Section will become more severe than ever. And the renewal of Associate Professor Shimokawa's appointment will no longer be accepted by the university.
