Let me open a chapter and talk about something...
To put it simply, I actually wanted to write a copy of "Breath of the Wild" well, and even planned to write more.
Because I am also an old picnic player myself, I don’t dare to say that I am too experienced, but I also have 300+ hours and can remember many interesting points in the game.
But after two days of writing, I discovered a serious problem.
That is, the core charm of the game Breath of the Wild collides with the framework of the Red Moon copy of our book.
For example, the copies I wrote before, their original charm of the game.
"Detroit", the core charm of the game is [choice] and thinking about human nature.
The core charm of "Skyline" is to persecute unruly people as much as possible and save money to build a city.
The core charm of "Assassin's Creed" is the secret feeling of assassination, and the continuous stacking of values, making players stronger and stronger.
But the core charm of the game "Breath of the Wild" that makes it famous, and is even ranked alongside "Red Dead Redemption 2" as the best open world game in the world, is the immersive gaming experience.
It’s not about killing monsters and upgrading, it’s not about treasure hunting, it’s not about construction and management.
It is immersed in this continent, allowing players to take adventures as they please.
If there is a big mountain in front of you, it is not just a model, it can really be climbed.
If there is a river, players can swim there or take a boat.
If it's cold, grilling the fire will make it hot, and eating some chili peppers can also warm your body.
Having said this, everyone must have discovered that the competitiveness of this game lies in its realistic experience, countless amazing details, and rich puzzle elements, making players feel as if they have really arrived in Hyrule.
It is a vast continent and its characteristics are its extremely high degree of freedom, which is also its overwhelming advantage.
But the game Breath of the Wild cannot be reflected in the Red Moon copy.
First, because players can already be immersed in the dungeon.
They also have a high degree of freedom in other dungeons. They can drink water when they are thirsty, eat when they are hungry, and tease NPCs.
So in comparison, the selling point of Breath of the Wild's high degree of freedom is simply worthless.
Secondly, it is almost common sense to write game novels without touching the puzzle genre. Decryption must be supported by pictures, otherwise it will become like "I went up to the second floor to get the key hidden in the corner, and ran to get it."
The room on the west side of the first floor is opened, and another XXX is obtained. Use it to successfully go up to the third floor.
Several elements that Breath of the Wild is proud of are not reflected in the Red Moon copy...
When a game's biggest selling point loses its meaning, the game will appear bland no matter how it is written.
In fact, you will find that the techniques I use in this game are not much different from those in the previous games.
The protagonist is also using the strategy to do things that other players cannot do, and then arouse the amazement of other players.
But it seems that the viewing experience will indeed be much different.
So I plan to end this dungeon as quickly as possible within two chapters, and then directly start DNF.
To be honest, I'm sorry that for such a game that I like very much, even I gave it an SS rating, but I failed to write it well and disappointed some readers who were waiting to see Zelda.
I felt very guilty.
Although ending Breath of the Wild quickly will definitely cause you to lose subscriptions, if you continue to write, if the writing period is too long, if it lasts for ten days and a half, you may lose more readers.
After weighing it in my mind, I could only make this decision. Finish Breath of the Wild quickly and put your limited energy into DNF.
DNF should be the copy that takes up the largest space in the entire book. In reality, it also spans the memories of several generations.
Whether it’s the unique cool points of upgrading dungeons, the protagonist’s exclusive monster-fighting strategies, or the cool bits of exploding equipment, the reading experience should be good.
I hope I can work hard to write it well.
That’s all I have to say, and it can be considered as a notice to some readers who have been waiting for DNF since the book started. The DNF you have been waiting for will be here soon!
