0961 Seven Temples and Six Rooms, Zhaomu Difficult Order

After returning to the capital, except for a little indulgence on the first day, Li Tong's life was arranged in a very regular manner.

During the day, court meetings were held, and various temporary arrangements for the end of the expedition period were discussed with the important officials. At night, the day of official duties was over, but they could not return to the inner palace to play with the concubines. Instead, they had to go to the temple of Emperor Xuanyuan located in the Daming Palace to rest, and communicate with their true ancestor of the Li Tang royal family, Taishang Laojun.

This life lasted for several days, and finally came to the auspicious day of the ritual officials who were divining the ritual officials. After midnight, the saint who had been busy for many days left Danei from the bottom and arrived at the Taimiao in front of the hall.

The Taimiao is the foundation of the country. Even if the emperor comes here, he cannot show his majesty. After all, the worship of the ancestors is all from the ancestors. The emperor is the most important in the world and the entry of the ancestral temple is the only small. The ceremony has not officially begun. Although the saint enters here, it cannot be lit up to avoid disturbing the gods in the temple. Therefore, the saint can only be wronged and stay in the big order on the east side of the Taimiao.

At this time, the night was still dark. After the saint arrived, the ritual officials began to enter and explain some steps and details of the ritual process. Although Li Tong was not interested in these complicated ancient etiquettes, he also listened seriously at this moment, not because he was afraid that the ancestors would jump out to deal with him, but that a ceremony would cost a lot and always be perfect.

When the saint entered the Taimiao to prepare, the camp in the west of the capital was also busy outside the city. The six armies gathered outside the Jinguang Gate, with flags waving and bright armor. After Meng Lingqing surrendered, all the soldiers were cheering up and wiped the armor on their bodies spotlessly.

Some people even stood under the shadow of the lights, constantly shaping their mighty looks, hoping to gain more attention in the later squad. Of course, most of the people who have such ideas are young generals. As for those generals, they will be placed in the most eye-catching position without being more silly. After all, they are the protagonists at today's ceremony.

The captives of the foreign countries who were the protagonists were all in place at this time. Naturally, these captives were not very energetic, but after several days of rest and training, they were generally understandable. They all had plain clothes, as if they were dead, and they were also scolded by the ritual officials to abdicate them in a stern rehearsal formation.

The ritual officials were not worried that these prisoners would have any ideas and would go crazy to destroy the following ceremony. The defeated soldiers and fall into foreign countries were enough to destroy people's will. Moreover, the Tang Dynasty has always been generous to the prisoners, and they may not be executed after offering them all. With such a chance to survive, these prisoners also obeyed and worked hard to cooperate.

In addition to the rituals that are still being prepared outside the city, the cemeteries in the city are also quite uneasy at this moment. On the day the saint returned to the capital, the cemeteries were alert, and the masses could not welcome them. After a few days of cooling down, the current people's sentiments are no longer as enthusiastic as before. Moreover, such a great gift as the Taimiao prisoner offering also requires some audiences to pay attention along the way, so now all the cemeteries are choosing cemeteries as spectators, so the standard is naturally to put good families first.

Inside and outside the city, everyone was busy with their own hearts. Soon it was dawn. Solemn rituals and music sounded in the Taimiao, announcing the official beginning of the ceremony.

The saint who had already worn the crown and seal clothes officially entered the Taimiao under the custody of his ministers.

At this time, the candles inside and outside the Taimiao were bright, and the people of Taichung had already played rituals and music. As the ritual officer, Wang Shaozong of Taichung entered the temples of the ancestors in turn to hold morning gowns, indicating that he awakened the ancestors' gods and began to hold the ceremony.

This process was extremely lengthy. Li Tong stood on the east side of the Taimiao in heavy clothes and waited for the ceremony to proceed. Seeing Wang Shaozong enter the temples solemnly, his thoughts couldn't help but spread.

Because he wanted to bring his two fathers into the Taimiao, Li Tong also learned about the evolution of their ancestral temple in the past few days.

Although the Emperor’s Seven Temples, at the beginning of the founding of the Tang Dynasty, it followed the five temple system of the Northern Zhou Dynasty and the Former Sui Dynasty, and only brought the fourth generation of Emperor Gaozu Li Yuan to the Tai Temple, and only enjoyed four rooms.

It was not until Emperor Gaozu's death that Emperor Taizong continued his ancestors again, and he also brought the sixth-generation ancestor Li Chong'er into the Taimiao. In addition, Emperor Gaozu Li Yuan formed seven temples. However, because Emperor Taizu was listed in Zhaomu, the ancestor was still empty and there were only six rooms.

During the reign of Emperor Gaozong, the Tang Dynasty still had controversy over whom to identify as the ancestor. Emperor Gaozong simply recognized Emperor Xuanyuan as the ancestor of Li Tang, but he could catch up with relatives. It was not appropriate to directly worship Emperor Xuanyuan's divine lord into the Taimiao. Therefore, Li Chong'er, who entered the Taimiao, came out of the imperial temple, and sent Emperor Taizong in.

By the time Emperor Gaozong Bintian, the Li Tang royal family finally gathered together the seventh generation of honorific relatives, but because the ancestor still had no conclusion, Emperor Xuan Li Xi was expelled to arrange for Emperor Gaozong.

Next was the years of the Tang Dynasty in the Wuzhou and Zhou dynasties. The Li family Taimiao was directly destroyed, and only the three temples of Emperor Gaozu, Emperor Taizong and Emperor Gaozong were worshipped.

After the Shendu Revolution, Li Dan once again entered Luoyang, while Li Tong was ordered to return to Chang'an to rebuild the Taimiao, allowing the Taimiao to restore the pattern of six chambers and seven temples, which has continued to this day.

During the Kaiyuan period, Li Tong succeeded to the throne. Although both of his uncles had been emperors, even if he was crazy, he could not send these two people to the Taimiao. Now that he wanted to send his two fathers to the Taimiao, he naturally had to have two ancestors, namely, Li Tianxi, the father of Taizu Li Hu, and Li Xi, and Li Xi.

Li Tong naturally had no feelings for his ancestors who had been around for so long, and he would have been killed. To be honest, if he was not a grandson, he would have wanted to survive even his grandfather, Emperor Gaozong.

At present, the court has generally agreed to postpone the temple titles of the two brothers Li Hong and Li Xian, but several problems arise.

The first is the issue of the pursuit of the ancestors of the Tang Dynasty. Since the ancestors had not agreed, the Taimiao always lacked a room. As generations of ancestors were exiled, Li Hu, who was still in the Taimiao, became the most respected person of his generation, and it seemed natural to take Taimiao as his ancestor.

But if Taizu was the ancestor who was in charge of Taimiao, the court gave Li Hu's father and ancestors out, and Li Hu was a little embarrassed to stay in the chief position of Taimiao. Not to mention anything else, Li Tong was worried that Taizu Li Hu would appear one day, and asked you, what should you do, why did you get my father and grandpa out to eat dust?

Moreover, if Taizu is regarded as the ancestor of the unauthorized ancestor, a new problem arises, that is, there are not enough ancestors to die, and Taimiao still has six chambers, and even the seventh ancestors of San Zhao and San Mu cannot get together.

In addition to these ritual issues of seniors that make people irritate their minds, Li Tong’s two fathers who entered the Taimiao also cannot avoid the issue of status. So how to deal with the Zhaomu issue?

The father is Zhao, the son is Mu, and the father and son are separated. But Li Hong and Li Xian are brothers. It is really impossible for the father to take the turn, so should we be together or different from Zhaomu?

There are many examples of brothers in history, but there is never a good solution to how to deal with the Zhaomu problem. For example, during the Western Jin Dynasty, Sima Shi and Sima Zhao brothers were in Mu's position together, and they were Zhaomu.

However, in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Sima Rui established the system in Jiangdong, and was confused by the order of the Eight Kings Rebellion. In order to ensure the ritual system of one temple and seven generations, he singled out the situation of the brothers one after another, and each of them became Yi Zhaomu. Later, there were many cases of brothers one after another in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, so he repeatedly jumped on the issue of Tong Zhaomu and Yi Zhaomu, and was swaying.

The small court in Jiangdong, which is in a peaceful corner, may not be a law in the world, but the inconsistent approach also shows that this problem is really difficult to deal with.

Regarding this issue, Li Tong was overwhelmed by the various discussions of the Li Guan, and he really didn't have any mature ideas. He simply spread his hands and let the Li Guan discuss and decide on their own. Anyway, our fathers are determined to enter the Taimiao. In the future, whoever loves to be the one who dares to be the one who dares to be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who dares to be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will

Accompanied by Li Tong's various chaotic thoughts, the sky broke through dawn and the sun rose. On the long street outside the Taimiao, military music such as the Qin King's Breaking Formation Song also sounded. The army entering the capital to offer prisoners was about to arrive at the Taimiao.

At this time, on Jinguangmen Heng Street, there were pedestrians on both sides of the street. To the north of the street were the families of middle-rank officials and other people watching the ceremony, and to the south of the street were the people of the village. With the surging military music, roaring cheers continued to erupt on both sides of the long street.

The soldiers offered prisoners were divided into six armies, with flags waving and distinct formations, and slowly advancing on the streets with cheers from the people. Behind the army, thousands of foreign prisoners were led, with hands and feet tied up, and a letter from the neck was hung with the words "Lubu" written on them, which described the respective identities of these prisoners and where they were captured in the war.

In this battle, many prisoners of the Tang Dynasty were all born, and those who could participate in the ceremony of offering prisoners were all born, either as a tyrant king or a noble minister. The people watching the ceremony on both sides could not see the words clearly, but the soldiers who escorted the prisoners loudly announced to the masses the extraordinary origins of these prisoners.

"The names of these foreign people are really weird, and it makes people unable to tell whether they are expensive or cheap!"

Although the people watching the ceremony were listening carefully, the names, officials and titles of the foreign countries were very different from those of the Tang Dynasty. After listening, they were still confused and couldn't help feeling very happy.

But some enthusiastic people also explained patiently: "The customs of the foreign people are simple, and their people are not civilized. Generally speaking, those who can refer to their surnames are already very good families, and they can compare the five surnames in the country!"

After hearing this explanation, many people made a sudden realization, and compared each with enthusiasm: "The foreign officials rank first and had a long name, and they looked like the Wei family in Jingzhao... The foreign officials had the same surname, and they seemed to have many ethnic groups. I am afraid that the Li family in Zhao County could compare..."

Various analogies of noise have greatly satisfied the gossip of the spectators. Some families from major families were embarrassed and embarrassed when they heard the people's random shouts and comparisons, but in this warm atmosphere, they dared not speak out, but they just kept silence: "How can the thief and evil seeds be like the famous Chinese families!"

After the team of prisoners arrived at the Taimiao, the soldiers were clearly arranged outside the Taimiao. As for the prisoners, they also lined up on the South Street of Taimiao, each knelt down on the ground, accompanied by the shouts of the ritual officials, and begged for mercy. This scene naturally greatly satisfied the spectators' mentality of showing off their power.

In the Taimiao, Taizhu read out the prayer before entering the front, while the civil and military officials walked into the Taimiao from the saints. After the sacrifices were made in the room, they went to the Emperor Gaozong Temple to make their own statements. The saints, Liu Youqiu and Yao Yuanchong made three offerings. After the saint returned to their throne, the ritual officials took blessings, wine, meat and meat to offer to the saints. After the saints finished their meals, they were given the imperial decree to attend the ceremony of important civil and military officials.

Next, the ritual officer buried and burned the remaining cultural relics, including the prayer version, in front of the Gaozong Temple, and completed the process of worshiping the God Lord of the Taimiao.

A series of rituals were underway, and it was already afternoon. After completing the rituals in the Taimiao, the saints once again climbed onto the chariot surrounded by ministers, walked out from the south gate of the Taimiao, and walked around Hengjie to Zhuque Street. Behind them, the soldiers and civilians of Chang'an followed them all the way. Of course, those prisoners from foreign countries who had been kneeling outside the Taimiao for several hours were indispensable.

The saint drove along Zhuque Street and climbed to the Chengtian Gate Tower of Tai Chi Palace located on the central axis of Chang'an City. The troops arranged neatly under Chengtian Gate, and then asked the saint to declare their power.

As the military and civilians gathered at Chengtian Gate, Taichangqing Wang Shaozong read out the emperor's book: The six armies protected the emperor's carriage, and the ministers went to Qianling to worship and then told their ancestors that they would be given life and death.
