The issue of inheritance of the Eighteen Kings of Jianyan
Generally, the title of three generations is passed down, and a few special examples are given.
King Han Shizhong of Qin, the Grand Tutor, led the Marshal of Hedong Road, and his eldest son, Princess Shang, voluntarily took the civil service route. The second son inherited the founding Duke of Yan'an, and after the Jingfu Palace reported the case, it was changed to hereditary and her third son and four sons were all in love. His wife and two concubines had imperial edicts. He was the ancestor of the Han family in Suide.
The King of Wei, Yue Fei, was the marshal of Hebei Road, and his eldest son, Princess Yue Yunshang, and his descendants were appointed as the Prince of Tangyin. Their descendants had their own official positions. The second son Yue Lei won the title because of a mistake, and the third son Yue Lin inherited the founding Duke of Guangji and passed on it for three generations (Yue Fei was resigned from the fourth son and the fifth son was benevolent), and became the ancestor of the Yue family in Tangyin.
King Li Yanxian of Jin was known as Li Shanzhou for generations. Later, he moved to Taiyuan and his younger brothers were the Li clan of Jinyang and Li clan of Shanzhou respectively. His eldest son was named Duke of Pinglu County, which was passed down for three generations. Nine sons and nephews in the family all joined the army. Sun Li Shang died in the Wu Xi rebellion and was granted the title.
King Han Wu Jie, because the ancestor Zhao Jiu gave the name of Benzhi as "Ruodingtang", was named together with Wu Lin and Wu Gong. Later, because the family took back all the grace outside the name of the Great Banner, the Wu family in Yan'an declined.
King Zhang Jun of Qi was the ancestor of Zhang's family in Dengzhou. He recruited Tian Shizhong as his son-in-law for his wife, and the two surnames were together for more than a hundred years. Later, the second son Zhang Ziquan broke the law. At that time, Zhang Jun had died. Tian Wai was apologized and offered the crystal grapes given by Emperor Shizu. Emperor Shizu personally thanked Zhang Jun for his crime and no longer pursued him.
King Zhang Rong of Lu, who was the youngest guard, became the ancestor of the Zhang family in Dongping due to his special nature. However, because Zhang Rong died early, Zhao Jiu quickly corrupted and forgot Zhang Rong's original intention when he was alive. He had no rewards except for the inheritance of the three generations. He was no longer pursued for Zhang Rong's face. After the demise of the Song Dynasty, Zhang Rong's big banner was taken away.
King Xing Ma Kuo was called the Taihang Ma family because of his geographical location. Later generations often inherited the title. Later generations speculated that it was because of his belief in the king.
Wang De, the prince of Longxi, succeeded the title for one generation because of his second son who died in battle.
Li Shifu, the prince of Suide, himself was considered to be one generation after another because of his father.
