Eighty-eight Decision of the course
The excitement of entering the great route had not yet dissipated from Ace, Coase and Dius looked at each other and nodded.
Then Dius took out a chart from his arms and spread it on the deck, and he sat cross-legged on the deck.
“What we’re going to talk about next is particularly important.”
Dius pointed to a small dot next to the red striped block representing the red clay continent on the chart,
“This is where we are now.”
Then his finger moved forward and gently tapped the seven islands that were almost lined up.
“We are going to choose one of these seven islands as the starting point for our great route.”
"Hey! So there is something else?"
Ace looked at the chart on the deck in surprise, and then sat down cross-legged.
Coase didn't want to pay attention to him at all. After all, if you dare to go out to sea with a small sampan, you don't have to ask him to understand the precautions of the great route.
But perhaps out of tacit understanding, although Cox said nothing, Ace still felt the contempt from his companions.
"Isn't this with you and Dius? So everything is OK."
Ace showed a hearty smile.
But Cox and Thois are tired of seeing this smile, which means they are not armed and domineering, otherwise they must let Ace know how deep the "love" of the crew members for the idiot Captain is.
"Once the route is selected, it cannot be changed easily. You can only follow the recording pointer toward one island after another."
Dius brought the topic back to the discussion of the route,
“So the decision now will be related to half of our journey.”
"Why half?"
Mihal curiously raised his doubts.
“Didn’t it mean that once you have selected it, you cannot change it easily?”
"Let Coase explain this question!"
Dius pointed to Coase. His own understanding of the great route was actually limited to the first half, and he knew almost nothing about the situation in the second half.
"Because these seven routes will gather here."
Coase moved his finger to the location of the Shampoo Islands on the chart.
"After coating here, we will dive to Fishman Island, and then pass through the undersea tunnel through the Red Clay Continent to the second half of the great route. Of course, that's not what we need to consider now."
Coase moved his finger back to the location of the original island of the seven routes.
"It's better to decide which route to take quickly!"
“Which route is the most interesting?”
Ace stared at Cox, her face full of expectations.
"How do I know!"
Cox gave Ace a blank look, and he really regarded himself as a master of everything.
Coase himself knew some well-known settings and the islands Luffy passed along.
"Who should I choose?"
Ace looked at the charts spread on the deck and hesitated as the seven starting islands.
"But I can rule out one route, it's best not to choose this island."
Coase's finger fell on the Whiskey peak and moved backward along the route.
"The next island of this island is called the Little Garden, where it takes a year to record the magnetic force of the next island."
The reason why Coace did not want to take this route was of course that he would encounter Clockdal on the way forward, but he could not say it explicitly, otherwise with Ace's personality, he would definitely know that there was a tiger in the mountain and headed towards the tiger mountain, so he could only use other reasons to stop Ace from choosing this route, and he did not lie. It is also a fact that the small garden's record pointer takes one year to complete.
"A year is indeed too long. If you are trapped there, you might be caught up by Luffy."
Sure enough, Ace accepted Cox's statement and gave up the idea of choosing this route.
But Coase didn't notice that Thoth had trembled with excitement since he said the name "Little Garden".
"Is the little garden the little garden? The island that is said to be inhabited by dinosaurs and giants."
Dius couldn't help but grab Coase's shoulder and asked almost out of control.
"Hey!"
Seeing Thois' strange state, Coes was stunned for a moment, and then remembered that before Chapter 67, Dius seemed to say this - "I want to see the island where giants and dinosaurs live; the sky island floating in the clouds; the fishman island where mermaids live."
Isn’t the island where giants and dinosaurs live a small garden?
"Miscalculated."
Coase sighed inwardly.
"Dinosaur! Giant!"
Ace's eyes turned into glittering stars, and then grabbed Cox's shoulder on the other side and asked excitedly.
"Really? Really? Are there dinosaurs on that island?"
"Dinosaurs still exist?"
Even Mihal seemed to be interested.
Coase held his forehead with a look of despair.
"Why did this happen?"
According to the attitude of the current members on the ship, it is a foregone conclusion to go to the small garden.
So he no longer hides his cover.
"Yes, there are indeed ancient creatures such as dinosaurs and saber-toothed tigers in the small garden, and there are giants on it, but there are only two. They have been fighting on that island for nearly a hundred years."
"It really exists, it's great."
After receiving Cox's affirmative answer, Dius showed a reassuring and touching smile.
Ace jumped three feet high, then sat down and knocked on the chart and said, "Sure enough, let's go on this route! There are dinosaurs here! Dinosaurs."
"That's what's the decision?"
Coase looked around. Although he was a little reluctant, if everyone else agreed, there would be nothing he could do.
And if you think about it a little bit from a different angle, although this route may encounter Clockdal, you can probably foresee the dangers you may encounter along the way.
Maybe this seemingly most dangerous route may be the safest than choosing an unknown route.
"But didn't it mean that the record pointer on that island takes a year to take or something? Is it okay?"
Mihal interjected with a little concern.
"That would be great if there were permanent pointers."
Dius looked puzzled,
"But I didn't find any place to sell in Roger Town. If there is no permanent pointer on the island in front of the small garden, it would be troublesome."
"Don't worry, there are definitely permanent pointers on that island."
Coase is definitely sure of this.
That island is a gathering place for pirate hunters. It is impossible for them to stay on that island all the time, but relying on ordinary record pointers, they can only go to the small garden, so there are definitely permanent pointers there.
“But it’s not certain where it points?”
After all, pirate hunters have to go to the naval base to exchange for bounty after hunting the pirates, so most of the permanent pointers there point to the island with naval bases.
Coase realized that this might not necessarily meet Clockdal, and he felt much more relaxed again.
"No problem, as long as you have a permanent pointer, you can determine the direction, just use it as an ordinary compass."
Dius patted his chest to assure,
"Although I'm just a half-baked navigator, I will never let everyone get lost on the sea."
"That's what it's decided."
Ace burned happily (physics), then suddenly thought of something and looked at Cox,
"Since you know there are permanent pointers, why did you still have to object to this route so much before?"
"Tsk—"
Cox turned his head guiltily.
Chapter completed!
