Chapter 67: Prey or Hunter?(2/2)

It was not easy for Murong Cheyun to escape from that catastrophe.

"Miss, please save us innocent people!" Cui'er grabbed Lingyu's arm and begged with tears in her eyes.

Lingyu frowned, then broke away from Cui'er's hand and said, "I'm just an ordinary lady. Now I'm trapped here and I can't do anything at all. Besides, these are extraordinary times, and I can't possibly interfere in this matter.

Please also ask Miss Cui'er not to force me."

"Miss! Are you really that cruel to watch them die miserably?" Cui'er asked unwillingly. Her young lady is obviously the most kind, so how could she ignore them?

"Tui'er, I know you are sad, but you should also understand that I will not set up myself for them." Lingyu said seriously.

Cui'er gritted her teeth, finally released her grip on Lingyu's clothes, and stepped aside.

Lingyu sighed and continued to drink the soup in the bowl.

"You go down first!" Murong Cheyun's voice came over, with a hint of coldness. Cui'er trembled all over and left here in a hurry.

Murong Cheyun's scrutinizing eyes kept looking at her, which made Lingyu very uncomfortable.

"Have you really changed, or are you trying to play some tricks?" Murong Cheyun said calmly.

Lingyu did not answer him, but looked out the window at the bright moon.

This Murong Cheyun deliberately asked Cui'er to reveal something to him. I don't know what he was thinking. If she complied with his wishes so easily, wouldn't it be fun?

In this game, who is the prey and who is the hunter has yet to be determined!

Murong Cheyun looked at her and smiled playfully. Before getting up and leaving, he left Lingyu with a meaningful message: "You can't escape."
