Chapter 2 White Jade Tile

According to Lao Liutou, since Cao Moyun showed him the so-called "Wansha Tribulation", he has always wanted to figure out what happened to that thing, because he suspected that his father's motive for forcing him to become a monk was the same as Cao Moyun's father, because he had harmed that thing. But in his memory, it was true that the old man disappeared for a month, but it seemed that he had never gotten the kind of rotten persimmon described by Cao Moyun. Later, regarding the "Wansha Tribulation", Lao Liutou harassed his teacher Ma Chunyi more than once. At first, Ma Chunyi also hiding the truth to Lao Liutou. Later, until Liu Ziwei passed away, Ma Chunyi told the truth to Lao Liutou...

Although Taoism is profound and profound, there are many things that cannot be explained and problems that cannot be solved. For example, the "Wansha Tribulation" that Lao Liu wanted to figure out all day long. In fact, Wansha Tribulation is not a purely Taoist category, but a thing between the cause of resentment and disease. The earliest records of Wansha Tribulation can be traced to the Tang Dynasty.

Before Emperor Gaozong of Tang passed away, the Tang Dynasty was a dynasty that emphasized Taoism and suppressed Buddha. Even Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty Li Yuan worshipped Laozi as his ancestor. This period was also one of the most rapid developments in history of various digits and talismans and elixirs. However, after the Wuzhou period of Tang Dynasty (that is, the Wu Zetian period), the court began to emphasize Buddhism and suppress Taoism (the Tang Dynasty raised Buddhas and suppressed Taoism from Wu Zetian for more than 130 years, until Emperor Wu Zetian ascended the throne in 840 AD. However, Li Yan reigned for only 6 years, and after his death, Xuan

When Zong Li Chen ascended the throne, the Tang Dynasty began the policy of emphasizing Buddhism and suppressing Taoism again. Many people in Taoism lost their jobs. Even some masters who used to call the wind and rain had to take advantage of the life of martial arts sorcerers who made small tricks such as taking the pulse and taking the doctor and Feng Shui master, and they snatched the jobs with the doctor and Feng Shui master. In traditional Chinese medicine theory, a large part of the yin and yang that were passed down or had been lost, were related to the integration of people in Taoism during this period.

During this period, some Taoist people even wrote some classics that combine the dual theories of Taoism and medical skills, such as the "Miscellaneous Notes of Taoism" by Lu Xianlong in Zhengyi School, Zheng Biyin's "Three Qing Prescriptions" by Zhengbao School, and Feng Yunpu's "Pulse Theory" by Feng Yunpu of Shangqing School, etc. Among most similar classics, it is not difficult to find records of "Wansha Tribulation" or similar symptoms. Among them, the earliest classics that record "Wansha Tribulation" is Lu Xianlong's "Miscellaneous Notes of Taoism", which says that the first year of Kaicheng in the Tang Dynasty (8

In 36 years), Pang Yi, an eunuch who held great power in Bingzhou Prefecture, returned home due to a strange disease. He was bedridden for a whole year but could not be cured. During this year, he used dozens of "national treasure" ginseng that had been more than 500 years old. He also sent a top imperial physician in the palace to take pulse prescriptions and prescribe it more than once. Later, Lu Xianlong visited Bingzhou and happened to encounter a yellow list and offered a reward of 500 kilograms of gold to treat Pang Yi. He also revealed the list and was invited to Pang Mansion as a doctor.

In the records of "Miscellaneous Notes of Taoist Medicine", Pang Yi's symptoms are similar to those of the "Cao Sandai". "If the skin is frosted, it will ulcerate without touching it, it will ulcerate like a wooden chicken, and if you don't answer, it will ulcerate even if you don't touch it, it will ulcerate like a wooden chicken, and you won't answer (others) questions. After some conventional diagnosis and treatment methods, Lu Xianlong discovered that although Pang Yi looked strange on the surface, his pulse was normal and meridians were unblocked. Rather than being sick, it was more like a "rush" of something.

Due to Pang Yi's special identity as an eunuch, Lu Xianlong did not ask what he did in the palace. Pang Yi is said to be the most valued subordinate of the eunuch Wang Shoucheng. His actions are nothing more than acting as a thug of Wang Shoucheng's thug in the palace. He is so utterly involved in the shady scenes of dog biting dogs in the palace. As a civilian, he may not be able to save his head when he knows what he is doing. After considering the gains and losses, Lu Xianlong decided to start from Pang Yi's residence in the palace first, hoping to try to find the root cause of Pang Yi's "infringement" from the surrounding environment. It should be because Lu Xianlong is lucky. On the second day of entering the palace, he found a unique "white jade tiles" from the roof of Pang Yi's residence.

The reason why it is said to be "different" is first of all because of the texture of the tiles. From ancient times to the present, the raw materials used by Chinese to burn tiles are nothing more than terracotta loess. I have never heard of anyone using white marble to make tiles. Secondly, the tiles themselves. After later, Lu Xianlong used traditional Taoist techniques to confirm that this tiles actually attracted more than a hundred evil ghosts Li Po.

This incident made Lu Xianlong remember the "Nanlu Incident" that shook the capital not long ago. Emperor Wenzong of the dynasty hoped to take advantage of the so-called "Nanlu" opportunity to eliminate all the eunuchs in power in one fell swoop. As a result, the incident was exposed, resulting in dozens of civil and military personnel in the dynasty being killed, and no less than ten people were killed in the family. This white jade tiles may have a direct relationship with this incident. Perhaps it was the product of revenge of the relatives or close friends of the murdered ministers. Inferred that, the only thing that Lu Xianlong couldn't understand is that if there were really anyone among the ministers who knew a great man who could make this "White Jade Tile", why did he still have to make those "Nanlu" of luck? Isn't it enough to just use the "White Jade Tile" to deal with those castrated goods?

But I can't figure it out. After all, Lu Xianlong's task is to cure diseases rather than solve cases, so the origin of the white jade tiles was only left unresolved. Until the end, Lu Xianlong could not figure out what principle this white jade tiles used to store so many resentful ghosts. He didn't know what magic principle this piece of tiles that kept resentful ghosts so much that it was based on, which made Pang Yi so worse than death. So in the end, he could only use the stupidest and most direct method to cure Pang Yi, which was to save the resentful ghosts in the white jade tiles one by one. This huge project took Lu Xianlong four years and five months, and his life was five years before Pang Yi recovered as before. By the time Lu Xianlong completed all the rituals of salvation, it was already the year of Huichang.

After the new emperor, Emperor Wuzong of Tang, Li Yong, ascended the throne. In "Miscellaneous Notes of Taoist Medicine", Lu Xianlong defined Pang Yi's disease as: the catastrophe of thousands of evil spirits, and the saying "cara of thousands of evil spirits" was spread from this: "One complaint can be transformed, but what can one complaints can be transformed? A ghost can be cured, but what can one ghost? There is a Taoist ten sharpness, ten true evil spirits, and the true evil spirits are not good at it. If you bring disasters and blame, you will be yourself!" The implication is: You are a god of virtue today, and you deserve to ask for it. According to Lu Xianlong's cognition, Pang Yi's symptoms are the pathogenic mechanism of the "cara of thousands of evil spirits", which seems to be the result of many souls constantly harassing and rushing to the body. After all the souls are saved, Pang Yi's disease is the result of self-healing without treatment, which seems to confirm Lu Xianlong's conclusion.

Of course, the reason why Lu Xianlong was willing to spend longer than writing a book to rescue this loyal and vicious general manager was not just for the reward of 500 kilograms of gold, but more to win back the court's trust in Taoism through his own efforts. Facts have proved that Lu Xianlong's efforts were not in vain. The news that Pang Yi's strange disease was magically healed without taking one pill and one pill shocked the court. Soon after, Emperor Wuzong of Tang Dynasty Li Yong promulgated the policy of rejuvenating Taoism and suppressing Buddhism, which brought six years of short revival to Taoism. Among them, the role played by Lu Xianlong cannot be ignored.

"Mr. Liu, are you saying that Axun... was retaliated against!?" Hearing this, Sun Ting seemed to hear something, as it seemed that Alxun was plotting against him.

"Not necessarily!" Old Liu's face looked solemn, "Lu Xianlong's statement is only one. There are other statements about this thing..."

In the decades of later generations, although the records of "Wansha Tribulation" in "Miscellaneous Notes of Taoist Medicine" largely revealed the apparent symptoms of "Wansha Tribulation", it also created some misunderstandings for future generations, that is, "Wansha Tribulation" was caused by the continuous harassment of the soul. It was not until the end of the Tang Dynasty that Zheng Biyin, a Taoist of Shangqing School, gave a new definition of the causes and treatment methods of "Wansha Tribulation" in his book "Three Qing Fangs": In the late Tang Dynasty, natural disasters were continuous and wars were continuous, and the whole country was full of signs of change and the generation was changed. In Laiwu (now Laiwu City, Shandong Province)

In the village, dozens of people were stormed by the "Wansha Tribulation" at the same time, which made Zheng Biyin question Lu Xianlong's statement that "Wansha Tribulation" was "Wansha Tribulation" in turn to rush into one person's body. Naturally, it is impossible for many souls to take turns to rush into one person's body in an orderly manner, unless it is possible under the interference and guidance of some human-made evil formations. If it is understandable to find capable people to form evil formations to engage in political struggles and retaliate against the eunuch leader, there is still excusable situation. How could anyone in the world be so bored that they mobilize the troops to set up such a large-scale evil formation to tease a few ordinary people?

Later, after some on-site investigation, Zheng Biyin discovered that this large-scale "Wansha Tribulation" incident is likely to be related to a mass pit left by the Tang army trap that killed the rebel army in the mountain torrent that was driven by the mountain torrent not long ago. The rebel army should have no grudges with the people, and would not take turns to attack the people's bodies. The reason why many ordinary people will harm the Wansha Tribulation is not because of "fighting", but because of "resentment".

In "Three Qing Fang", Zheng Biyin's conclusion can be said to have completely subverted Lu Xianlong's theory, classifying the cause of the "Wansha Tribulation" as "resentment invasion of the body", and suddenly pulling this symptom between "Tao Art" and "medical art".

"The resentment that Zheng Biyin mentioned is not the kind of resentment that kills people and pays for their lives..." Speaking of this, Old Liu began to add, "This kind of resentment belongs to the 'dispersed resentment', which means dispersing resentment. 'dispersed resentment' has little impact on people, but if it gathers too much, it will have a great impact! This also makes sense in Taoism! In that view of Zheng Biyin, only places where a large amount of corpse qi is gathered, such as 'meng pits' and 'mass graves', can all souls generate the same resentment because of the same thing, and as I said just now, the resentment of the slumbers are reopened by the flood, and millions of souls have resentment due to water. This kind of resentment is the same as the 'turbid air' and 'wet air' in traditional Chinese medicine, and it will cause illness!"

In traditional Chinese medicine, many kinds of "qi" are listed as the root cause of the disease, such as "cold air", "moisture air", "fire air", "turbid air", "dry air", etc. For example, cold air invades the body and is prone to wind and cold, and damp air invades the body and is prone to "bone numbness*" and so on. Zheng Biyin believes that "resentment" as a kind of yin and turbid air, just like other messy "qi", will also have an impact on the human body, and the impact is much greater than other types. Based on the medical level and people's understanding at that time, it is not easy to make such a judgment, but the only disadvantage is that in the "Wansha Tribulation" incident in Laiwu, Zheng Biyin only dealt with this case and did not use this precious clinical opportunity to conduct in-depth research, which has led people's understanding of Wansha Tribulation to this day only stays in the category of "resentment invading the body".

According to Zheng Biyin's theory, since the pathogenic mechanism of Wansha Tribulation is more inclined to medicine, the easiest way is to take "medicine". However, this "medicine" is completely different from the conventional "medicine". At that time, Zheng Biyin divided the resentment into five categories: gold, wood, water, fire, and earth, and the resentment that caused the people to suffer was probably because the soldiers in the "meng trap" could not "be buried in the ground for peace". The pit was washed away by the flood, so this resentment should be "water resentment". The earth restrained the five elements.

Therefore, "earth" should be used as a measure to calm this resentment, and then mobilized the civilians to bury the corpse pit, and then asked the patient to take the soil under the eaves to eat it. Sure enough, the coefficient was cured. At this point, the phenomenon of "Wansha Tribulation" is no longer simply limited to the category of Taoism, and some medical mechanisms have been added. However, one thing is certain, that is, the resentment that leads to the Wansha Tribulation is not a resentment of one person: only when a large amount of resentment gathers on one person and exceeds the critical point that the human body can tolerate, can there be a possibility of "Wansha Tribulation" form.

"In fact, the cause of the Wansha Tribulation is not fixed. Just like Zheng Biyin said, it is divided into at least five types: gold, wood, water, fire and earth." Old Liu frowned, "However, Zheng Biyin's understanding is very limited after all, and he encountered only once. After Zheng Biyin, many examples have proved that the types of resentment are far more than five types of gold, wood, water, fire and earth, but there is no clear diagnosis method, because as long as you harm that thing, the symptoms are similar. The Wansha Tribulation of "water resentment" and "fire resentment" are both the same virtue on the surface.

People cannot speak, so if you are not sure what kind of "resentment" is caused, you can only treat it like Lu Xianlong for several years and decades! Just like the "Three Dynasties of Cao", my master's capable person has no choice but to carry it to Sichuan for treatment! And I don't know how it is. I have also asked my father about how he treated it. If someone harmed this thing again, how to treat it, he told me that whoever got involved would ask his family to arrange the funeral. This thing can't be done now...!"

"Ah..." Sun Ting's face turned pale, his legs were weak and he almost collapsed on the ground. "Then Ah Xun him..."

"He just said that! He just didn't want us to use those shameful methods!" Old Liu was too lazy to explain to Sun Ting the talk habit of Master Ma Chunyi. "It's difficult to find the reason for this problem, because it's because people can't speak or write! It's even more difficult to find any clues! At most, it's like Lu Xianlong who can find a jade tiles! If you can't even find a jade tiles, you can only use shameful methods!"

"Shameful!" Sun Ting was also confused when he heard Old Liu say this, "Save people is not killing people. What's so shameful?"

"It is to save people by a method that is more immoral than killing people!" Old Liu waved his hand, "Save one person, you will harm two people, and save one person, you will harm people from a village and a county. There are many such things..."

"Do we want to go to the United States first?" After a long silence, Zhang Guozhong suddenly said.

"No need...!" Old Liu firmly cut off the railway line, "There is no need to go to the United States first! First understand what he has done after he arrived in China, where he has been, and who has come into contact with! Young Master Sun, can you check it out first? Brother Ai can't walk alone when he returns to China, he must have come into contact with someone!"

"This..." Sun Ting frowned, "I have checked his call records. His mobile phone number in the United States has never dialed in China. It seems that after he arrived in China, he temporarily bought a local number and threw it away after using it..."

"Oh..." Hearing this, Zhang Guozhong also hit the table, "Why is this still like this..." To be honest, when I went to Myanmar to find the treasure cave at Fengwen at the foot of the mountain, Alxun almost lost his life because he felt sorry for a few grenades.

"Or...or...or like this..." Zhang Yicheng's words seemed to be full of temptation, "I'll go to the United States to take care of Uncle Ai. Uncle, please and my dad check his whereabouts in China? I think Uncle Liu can help with this matter..."

"Stay at home honestly!" Zhang Guozhong glared at Zhang Yicheng fiercely, "Don't get involved in your affairs with sir!"

"What's wrong with me?" Zhang Yicheng rolled his eyes, "I'm almost a father. If I leave the old society, my children will run away all over the street..."

"Okay, okay..." Old Liu sighed, "Young Master Sun, don't worry. Brother Ai's disease is a toad that crawls into the foot - it doesn't bite people and is disgusting. If you don't kill people, you won't die easily. If you treat it, you won't be able to treat it overnight. Turn around and call Mr. Qin. His spy skills may be worth it! Also, don't be idle. Go back to the United States immediately and search for me with my residence. See what items he brought back from China this time..."

"Then...what about me?" Zhang Yicheng looked at Old Liu's head with extreme expectation, "Uncle, can't you even treat me as a child?"

"Listen to your father, the most important thing you are studying now! When you are useful in the future!" As a cultural person, Lao Liu knew the importance of the college entrance examination. Zhang Yicheng is currently in the final sprint stage before the college entrance examination. Even if Alxun has something to do, he and Zhang Guozhong should be able to deal with it. If it were not forbidden, he would never delay his children's studies at this critical moment.

"Study... cut..." Zhang Yicheng curled his lips, with disdain on his face...
