24, Chapter 24(2/2)

"If you call the police, you will definitely take care of it," the policeman said and sighed, "But how many people called the police? We took a case before, and everyone was beaten to death, and we thought it was a family matter."

Kou Chen didn't say anything, and Huo Ran didn't know what to say. The three of them were silent as the car bumped around.

After a while, Kou Chen reached out and grabbed Huo Ran's hand.

"Huh?" Huo Ran looked at him.

"Huh?" Kou Chen also looked at him.

"What's wrong?" Huo Ran glanced at his hand.

"What's wrong with holding hands?" Kou Chen said impatiently, "I'll just hold hands. What do you think?"

"You were holding his hand," the policeman said with a smile.

"I'm afraid he'll be thrown away," Kou Chen said.

"Then it would be more stable if you hold the waistband of his pants." The policeman said.

"Brother," Kou Chen looked at him, "Why are you so poor? Drive your car well!"

The policeman laughed: "Relax, don't worry."

"Why am I nervous? What do I have to worry about?" Kou Chen said disdainfully.

"Trust the police, we will find out the matter." The policeman brother glanced at him, "Do you not trust us?"

"To be honest," Kou Chen said, "it's a bit..."

"Then let me put it another way," the policeman brother thought for a moment, "there are still many policemen like me."

"Who are you?" Kou Chen asked.

"I am a policeman who is willing to say it and dares to say it to make you believe me." The policeman brother replied.

"Fuck," Kou Chen was stunned and turned his head, "Brother, please don't be like this, I almost want to cry when you say that."

"Men, cry, cry..." The policeman brother suddenly sang, "It's not a crime... How about it? I feel a little more relaxed now."

Huo Ran couldn't help but laugh for a long time, and after a while he said: "Thank you."

He wasn't sure whether Kou Chen felt relaxed or not. Anyway, he kept holding on to his hand and never let go. When the car bumped violently, they were still dragging each other as if they were determined to fight to the death.

I grabbed a sweaty hand.

Halfway through the car, we met the Jimny flying down a slope.

"Ouch!" The policeman braked the car, "I'm here to pick you up! It's so fierce."

"It must have been Kou Xiao's father who urged her." Kou Chen finally let go of his hand and jumped out of the car. "Maybe he regrets not calling a helicopter to pick up his precious daughter."

Huo Ran also got out of the car and waved to Jimny. He had already seen clearly that it was his father sitting in the cab.

The person sitting in the passenger seat can tell from his appearance that this is Kou Chen’s father, the literary and artistic Yuye Butcher whom Kou Chen calls.

"Uncle..." Huo Ran was interrupted before he even asked the question.

"I'm not getting out of the car, I'm not getting out of the car!" Kou's father poked his head out, glanced at the two of them, and shouted to the police, "Thank you, comrade police! Let's go in and pick them up first! I'll leave these two boys alone."

"Go in and pay attention to safety," the police officer said, "You are driving too fast!"

"Okay, okay," Dad also stuck his head out and waved to them, "You guys go out first."

"Xu Zhifan!" Kou Chen walked to the car and shouted, "Come down?"

"Should I fucking go out?" Xu Zhifan's face popped out from behind the chair, holding up his cell phone to take pictures of the two of them, "How are you two?"

"It's fine, it's okay," Huo Ran touched his face, "Don't post your photos randomly!"

"I just want to keep a souvenir," Xu Zhifan looked down, "What's wrong with Kou Chen's feet?"

"It was twisted," Kou Chen said.

"Lao Huo, drive quickly, let's take a walk, why are we still chatting? Let's talk again when you go back!" Kou's father shouted from the car, "If you twist your foot, it won't break!"

"See you later! Later..." Before Xu Zhifan could finish his words, his face had already disappeared in front of their eyes.

Jimny swooped past the three-wheeler, smoke erupted from the back of his butt, and he disappeared as he ran forward.

As he continued to get on the third wheel and walked out, Kou Chen reached out again and grabbed Huo Ran's hand.

Huo Ran didn't ask him what was wrong and just stared at him for a while.

"I'll slap you again!" Kou Chen turned his head and glared at him.

Huo Ran turned his head away helplessly, and continued to hold hands with him on the bumpy road, dragging each other until they were separated.

When it was dark, they arrived at the intersection and saw the police and three big men.

The big men should be friends of Kou's father, they are all Rainy Night Butcher style uncles.

"Is everything okay!" An uncle came over, looked them both up and down, patted each on the shoulder, and said to Kou Chen, "Your dad said he had picked up someone, and he will be out soon."

"Thank you Uncle Wu, thank you Uncle Liang, thank you Uncle Li," Kou Chen said, "Thank you for your hard work and coming here."

"You're welcome, don't worry, if your dad doesn't come to pick you up, we will come too!" Uncle Wu patted his back boldly again and said with a smile, "Without your sister, your dad might not have come."

"You know him too well." Kou Chen laughed.

"Thank you, comrade police!" Several uncles surrounded the policeman again, "Come and have a cigarette and rest for a while."

After telling the policemen waiting at the intersection what was going on inside, Kou Chen took out his cell phone and sent a message in the group chat, and we came out.

A multi-person video was sent immediately.

"What are you doing?" Kou Chen answered and raised the phone to face himself.

"Damn, are you two okay?" Jiang Lei stared, his face probably almost touching the screen, and he could see his nose, "Where's Huo Ran?"

"Here, wait," Kou Chen pulled Huo Ran over by his arm and hugged his shoulders, "Look at how we are doing, are we fine?"

Huo Ran smiled at the screen: "Are you waiting to see how embarrassed we are?"

"Xu Zhifan said that you two were fighting with others," Xu Chuan asked, "Are you hurt? Fellow students are no better at fighting than students."

"It's not hurt..." Huo Ran said.

"Whether you're good or not depends on who you're fighting against," Kou Chen said.

Huo Ran turned to look at him.

Both of them were people who had yelled "run" when facing fellow villagers and actively implemented it. Kou Chen actually said this sentence so naturally and smoothly without any trace of pretense.

"Damn it," Wei Chaoren said, "it's down to you two. If it were me, it would probably be a nightmare."

"You two can be regarded as people who have gone through great things," Jiang Lei said, "What is this called, are you almost friends in times of need?"

"Yeah," Kou Chen nodded, turned to look at Huo Ran, "Come on."

"What..." Huo Ran suddenly realized in the middle of asking, and quickly wanted to push Kou Chen away, "What the hell..."

Kou Chen didn't even wait for him to exert all his strength before he yanked his arm back.

Bah!

Kissed him on the cheek.

This bite was quite powerful. For a moment, Huo Ran felt like he had been bitten, and his face felt fucking wet.
