Because rock paintings engraved with Kaneri were found in Xinjiang, these paintings have a history of at least 4,000-6,000 years.

Whether it was introduced to Central Asia or taught by people from the Central Plains, it cannot explain why Kaneri appeared in rock paintings so long ago this year.

These large and small kanerjings still play their role in agricultural modernization today. They serve as water conservancy engineering facilities that have the least environmental damage and protect Xinjiang's agriculture and oasis.
