Chapter 523 Chinese Island Lord

The Natuna Islands are located in the waters between the Malay Peninsula and Kalimantan Island.

It consists of 272 islands with a total area of 2110 square kilometers.

The highest point is Tanatuna Island, with an altitude of about 959 meters. It has high temperatures and heavy rainfall throughout the year, and subtropical forests.

Sometimes the Natuna Islands are also included in the Anambas Islands.

The island is rich in wood, coconut, cocoa, rice and corn.

The Natuna Islands are also known as the Ampona Islands. The name Natuna is mostly used now because Ampona is the same as the other two islands.

One is Ambon Island in the Maluku Islands, Indonesia, which is mostly translated as Ambon Island by Westerners.

The other is the Anbo Reef in the South China Sea, which was called Guodaiyu in ancient China.

The Chinese government named Ambona Reef, and later named Ambo Sands, which is now under the jurisdiction of Indonesia.

Previously, the names of the sea area and its islands had different names from different periods in my country:

Before the Han Dynasty, my country called the "Natura Islands" the "sea" as "sunken sea", called the "Natura Islands" the "sunken sea" and called the "Natura Islands" the "sunken sea" the "sunken sea" the "sunken sea" the "sunken sea" the "sunken sea" the "sunken sea" the

Because it is located at the mouth of Malacca where the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet, it is affected by the water level drop activity between the two oceans, and the water level in this water area is rising and falling.

Therefore, the ancestors of China called this sea "Sunhai" and called the islands of all sizes and large and small in this sea "Sunhaiqitou".

See Yang Fu's "Foreign Things" in the Eastern Han Dynasty: "The sea of Qitou is rising, with shallow water and many magnets", which means that in the water of Qitou Island Islands in the sea of Qitou Island, there are shallow water and many reefs.

The recorded here is the water area west of Wan'an Beach in the Nansha Islands.

"Qi Tou" means island. The "Chinese Dictionary" explains "Qi" as "Qi: the steep appearance of the mountain".

In fact, many islands in this water area are above 100 meters above sea level. The largest of them is Nantuna Main Island, with a peak of nearly 960 meters. Apart from Taiwan Island and Hainan Island, there are no such steep sea islands.

Moreover, this water area is a shallow sea area, with the deepest part being more than 100 meters, and the rest being about 30 meters, not as deep as the Nansha, Zhongsha and Xisha.

During the Wu period of the Three Kingdoms, Wan Zhen's "Nanzhou Foreign Objects" also recorded: "Traveling northeast, it is extremely large and scattered, it rises from the sea, rises in the middle and has many magnets."

This refers to sailing from the Malay Peninsula (this original meaning) to the northeast, which means that the deep water part of the Nansha has not yet reached this time.

It means: In this section of water sailing northeast (from the Malay Peninsula), there are extremely large islands standing high in the rising sea, and there are water rising (or often rising water) and there are many reefs.

This written record is also very consistent with the sea conditions of the "Natura Islands". This "great dazaitou" is the main island of Natuna.

In the early 15th century, when Zheng He went to the West, he called "Shenhai" "Shenhaiqitou" and "Shenhaiqitou" as "Shitang Island", and "Shenhaiqitou" as "Shitang Island", and "Jidaqitou" as "Wansheng Shitang Island".

According to the descendants of Zheng He's ship workers in Hunan, there is the largest island in Shitang, Nanhai (Jidaqitou), which was once built by Zheng He's fleet as the first sea station and had a large number of barracks, equipped with a large number of living facilities, and a large number of personnel on duty.

Due to the excellent natural resource conditions, the fleet always fishes, processes, changes, maintenance, etc.

Among them, not only carpenters, bamboo workers, but also carvings, painters, painters, and all kinds of tools, and everyone has their own specialties.

Since it is tens of thousands of young people (people call young and strong men) who often spend their time back and forth on the island, people call "Xidaqitou" "Wansheng Shitang Island".

Moreover, as an important symbol of my country's South China Sea, this "Wansheng Shitang Island" has been undeniably recorded in the world-famous historical map "Zheng He Navigation Chart".

The picture not only contains the name "Wansheng Shitang Island", but more importantly, its corresponding location is the current location of the "Natura Islands".

This is exactly the same as the legend of the descendants of Zheng He's ship workers. The reason why it is called "Wansheng Shitang Island" means that the island is an island where Zheng He and his soldiers lived and produced.

The "Wanzhou" in "Zheng He Navigation" is located in Hainan Island. "Shitang" is actually Shitang Island, and its specific location is what Indonesia now calls the "Ananbass Islands" and is the southwest border of the Chinese sea.

"Wansheng Shitang Island" is what Indonesia calls Natuna Island. Like the "Anambas" archipelago, they are islands in Shitang.

And "Shixing Shitang" is the general term for the Nansha, Zhongsha, Xisha and Dongsha in China?

Because the water surface is not exposed much, most of the reefs are underwater, and because the colorful coral reefs underwater are as bright as dense stars.

Therefore, people call this sea area "Shixing Shitang". In addition to the infinite size of the ancients, the direction was still roughly accurate.

Since Zheng He's voyage to the West, the people of Daming have lived and lived on the island.

This island is now occupied by the Ming Dynasty's clan Zhang Jieying and others, who fled from the chaotic times in the late Ming Dynasty.

After Zhang Jieying led more than 300 people here, he regarded this place far away from his hometown as a paradise.

They have overcome all obstacles here, explored construction, and finally built the Natuna Islands into an independent country.

In order to show his mind, Zhang Jiexu founded the country in Natuna, but did not establish a name. He just called himself a king and continued to accept Han people from the Ming Dynasty.

It is precisely because of the founding of the country that Zhang Jiexu's "Natura Kingdom" did not have the fact that diplomatic relations with the surrounding areas were formed.

They set up a trading company called "Nanhua Company" and carried out trade around.

Because this island is mainly mountainous and only the coastal areas can be cultivated, fishery has become the main source of economic resources.

At that time, there was no freezing storage, so many large fishing companies had to choose some islands for drying, and then transport them after they turned into dried fish.

The Natuna Islands are located in an important geographical location, so they have become the preferred drying place for many fishing companies.

When Zhang Jiexu and others controlled the 127 surrounding islands, they had the price codes to negotiate with neighboring countries, and the economy developed rapidly.

Gradually, the Chinese population on this island grew more and more, and everyone's life was getting better and better. Zhang Jiexu's status and ability were further recognized by everyone.

In fact, Zhang Jiexu is the real king of the island country, but Zhang Jiexu is very smart and does not want to cause trouble for himself, so he chose to be a low-key person.

He has always regarded "Nanhua Company" as the signature of his island.

But in fact, everyone knows that no matter what aspect Zhang Jiexu evaluates, he is the veritable "king" on this island.

When the Ming Navy fleet arrived at the waters of this island, the island's defensive soldiers immediately discovered a large number of warships.

At this time, the Netherlands had not occupied the place yet, and there were no large warships in the surrounding small countries.

The Ming defenders on the island were frightened by the Ming warships at that time, and the iron-armored warships were definitely a behemoth.

There are only less than 10,000 people on the island. Although Zhang Jiexu is already equivalent to the king, he is still busy like ordinary people.

Suddenly, two soldiers came to report in panic:
