February summary and monthly pass (chapter has been updated)
This month, there are not so many updates, but everyone is very tolerant and laughs. In March, there should be no need to take leave, and two updates will be maintained every day.
The content in February is mainly about the ending of Wild Grass City and the expansion of Red Stone Collection. I wrote the previous part quite satisfactorily. Judging from everyone's feedback, it seems to be OK.
I think the best part here is the creation of the character An Ruxiang. There is not much plot, and it is outlined with only a small amount of brush and ink, and it has a thickness and arc.
After shamelessly praising myself, I still have to say that this is the supporting role chosen in the Dragon Support Building. Of course, it is a certain difference from the original setting. After all, I always think of a story after seeing the description, and delete the part that does not match the story.
The plot of Wild Grass City, the expansion of Bai Chen's branch line and Shang Jianyao's mental state are no longer limited to dialogue, and the "brain pull" begins to affect the turning point of important things.
This also initially enriched their characters.
How to say the unfolding of the Red Stone Collection? I am quite happy to write it myself, because this is a key point of this book I have mentioned: different regions on the gray soil have different beliefs due to different living conditions and different civilizations, and various absurd folk customs emerged.
Maybe you may not have imagined that the most self-satisfied part I have written so far is the reasoning of the Anthropology and sociology of the folk customs of Redstone Collection, which is the sacred part of faith that brings distrust.
The good part is also the shortcomings:
First, it is similar to the way of writing travel notes. When you go to a new area and have no previous situation, it is difficult to quickly establish conflicts and tighten the plot tension, which causes a slow pace. I am also very anxious, but I have no choice but to unfold the story in the most reasonable and gentle way I think, and strive to make each chapter have its own interest. I hope that when I change to a new area in the future, I can think of a better way to quickly get the story into the state.
Second, in order to shape the characters in the group, explain the plot, analyze the reasoning, there are a lot of dialogues between the four-person group, which seems a bit cumbersome when the plot is slow. Moreover, there is no corresponding character plot to undertake, so the effect is not so good. This is a problem that needs to be solved urgently in the future.
The third is actually the derivative of the first problem, the question of substitution and expectation. When the tension is not tense, the overall expectation is insufficient, resulting in a heavier sense of travel notes. This is not what I want. The initial idea is to adjust the substitution and see if I can find a new way. After all, it is a subject and style that I have never written before. I have no experience, so I can only explore it slowly.
Also, let me say that the wastelands in this book are different from the common wastelands. I placed them in the post-wasteland era where order has been initially established, which is a bit different from the atmosphere expected by many friends.
Finally, March is coming. Please guarantee the monthly ticket to give me the motivation to write. I will update it carefully. (If you have monthly tickets, I can draw at the end of the month. The more you have, the better, hehe)
