15. The dividing line between light and dark
The Scarface Ant and its men lined up arrows, getting closer and closer to the climbing children.
All of this is maintained at a microscopic scale, and no one who is passing by will notice or discover a fierce pursuit in centimeters at the bottom of the lampshade.
Liu Weiston, the worst physical strength, fell below and was swept to his ankles several times by the scarface ant's tentacles-
Liu Weiston didn't see anyone bitten to death by an ant in the book. He thought that it wasn't, nor did he want to be the first one. At this moment, "Press on the pillar!" Lu Pa'er's shout came from above his head.
Liu Weiston subconsciously did what she said, hugging the telephone pole tightly like a koala. The next moment, Lu Paer threw a huge rock as big as them like a Valkyrie, and fell down close to his back.
The accuracy was a bit bad. The stone did not hit the scar-faced ant, but only hit the two ants on its right, but at least eight or nine were following.
"Twist a few more!" Liu Weiston shouted.
"No! Why don't you run!" The answer was Li Lin's shout and Lu Pa'er threw down the last stone at hand.
Liu Weiston took a deep breath, lifted his sore arm and crawled up again.
The last stone smashed down more ants, three. One of them was unfortunately pressed down by the stone and couldn't climb out, but there were six black ants who were chasing them, including the scar-faced ant.
The morning sun shines on the telephone poles. The concave and convex surface at the bottom of the telephone poles is like a crater on the moon, with potholes filled with shadows and rugged bulges.
However, some places are not rusted and smooth. The sunlight passes through there smoothly, casting a ray of light.
The children crawled over there quickly, and when they passed there, they felt hot all over.
The ants chasing paused in front of the light for a moment before continuing to chase.
Liu Weiston, who was closest to him, noticed their pauses, and vaguely guessed something, intending to try if this was useful. "They don't like light! We crawl to the sun!" He shouted to Li Lin and Lu Pa'er, and his body gushed out of his body to crawl towards the telephone pole that shone on the sun.
The hot surface of the pole and the hot sunlight made the children feel like they were entering the oven. They crawled out for a distance and looked back at the ants.
The scar-faced ant rushed to the edge of the light surface of the telephone pole, "swish--" the tentacles on its forehead left the shadow, exposed to the sun, and a burst of blue smoke emerged.
Its subordinates gathered behind him, and no one rushed out of the dividing line between light and darkness.
As the children were covered in sweat, the scar-faced ants stared at them fiercely and returned with their subordinates.
"I think we'll shake them away..." Liu Weiston breathed a sigh of relief before realizing that he was shaking.
Li Lin shook his palm in pain at this time: "It's so hot here, let's go back quickly."
They quickly crawled back to the cool backlight, but fortunately the black ants were not here, otherwise they would be dried up after staying for a while.
"Zhou Kaishe! Stay there waiting for us!"
Li Lin shouted to Zhou Kaishe under the lampshade and climbed up with his companions.
Liu Weiston hoped that a snail would emerge to carry them at this time, but there were only stones on the telephone pole, which was not in the recipes of snails or other insects.
Only Lu Paer is still full of energy, and the light coppery skin is full of the beauty of power.
Climb to the middle and upper part of the telephone pole and the withered vines hanging on the lamp posts allow the children to finally take a moment of rest.
Li Lin looked up as he wiped his head full of sweat. They were not far from Zhou Kaishe.
At this moment, a familiar scream suddenly came into my ears, becoming clearer and clearer.
