Chapter 1150 Water Rope

Shuiyan's departure made Zhui'er no longer so obedient. In the past, Qing'er could safely leave him alone at home, but now if she wasn't careful, Zhui'er would run to the river and look longingly into the distance, waiting for her sister to come back.

Qing'er was heartbroken over this, and something even more worrying happened one afternoon.

That day Hongshi went to the town to sell fish, and Qing'er went with him to buy some silk thread. When he came back in the afternoon, he saw that the child was not at home. Qing'er put down what he was holding and hurried to the river. He searched for more than two miles along the river before looking.

When I arrived at Zhui'er, I was at a river bend.

Zhui'er, who was always either laughing or dazed, now had a fierce expression on his face. He was holding a small stone in his hand and glaring at the river with wide eyes. His clothes were all wet, and even his hair was wet. It looked like he had fallen off.

After entering the river, water was no longer dripping from his hair and clothes. He must have been climbing up for a while. Little Futon'er was hiding a few feet behind Zhuo'er. It was not as fierce as its little master.

Baba was so powerful, his eyes were flashing with fear, and his little tail was tucked up.

"Zhui'er! Who bullied you?" Seeing her son's appearance, Qing'er didn't even bother scolding him for running to the river without permission. She just thought it was a child in the village who had offended her son.

Zhui'er glanced at her mother, then cast her angry eyes towards the river, and replied angrily, "It's that little girl. She's not a little girl, nor is she a good child!"

Qing'er couldn't help but shiver, her legs felt a little weak, she stepped forward to pick up her son and ran away.

Zhui'er reluctantly raised her butt and used the Thousand Jin Pendant, shouting unwillingly, "She bullied me, I'll fight her!"

"Little Ancestor!" Qing'er hurriedly picked him up, covered his mouth with her hands, and ran around the path back to her backyard.

Zhui'er seemed to be really annoyed and struggled all the way. Qing'er didn't dare to let go of her hand covering his mouth. After she had taken a deep breath, she said to her son in a low voice, "You have to let it go."

Everyone knows, then they will definitely treat you as a monster, why don’t you still yell?”

Zhui'er was immediately discouraged, looking at his mother with an aggrieved face and shaking his head.

"Tell mom, what's going on?" Qing'er's heart was pounding. She tried her best not to show panic, but her hands couldn't help shaking.

Zhui'er snorted angrily, and then whispered, "I...I'm going to the river to wait for my sister to come back. I know I shouldn't go, but..."

Qing'er comforted her and said, "Don't tell me this in advance. Mom won't beat you this time. Tell me about the little girl."

Zhui'er calmed down, a look of anger appeared on his face again, and he clenched his fists in excitement.

"Keep your voice down, keep your voice down!" Qing'er glanced at the front yard.

Zhui'er let out a heavy sigh and lowered her voice and said, "I was waiting for my sister by the river. She suddenly appeared from the river and asked me to play with her. I said my mother wouldn't let me play with you, so she splashed me with water.

"At this point, Zhui'er felt aggrieved and explained, "I wasn't angry with her, but she kept splashing on me and made me wet all over. The water was too cold."

It was even late autumn, when Qing'er heard what her son said, she couldn't help but feel distressed, dragging Zhuo'er and sneaking into the house where her grandfather lived before his death, digging out two pieces of old clothes, stripping off her son and wrapping them in old clothes, and then wiped him.

Hair said, "Mom knows that Zhui'er is a good boy. I definitely don't blame you for this. Just tell the truth."

Zhui'er continued, "My mother didn't allow me to play with her, so I told her that I can't play with you, but I can buy daddy

I’ll give you the little clay figurine, as well as the little cloth tiger and rabbit that mom made, and the little sword that grandpa made for me. Mom, I really want to give them all to her."

"Mother knows, mother knows." Qing'er felt pity for her son's kindness but also felt scared. If the little girl was really a dragon spirit, imagining the scene of her son talking to her would be enough to make people shudder.

"She said she didn't want it, and then she tied up a piece of water and pulled me into the river."

"Then what?" Although she knew her son must have escaped danger, Qing'er was still trembling with nervousness and didn't bother to ask what that "water" looked like.

"Then I got angry, and she didn't dare to pull me when she was scared."

"Ah? When you...are angry...she...stops pulling you?" Qing'er couldn't believe her son's explanation.

"Ah." Zhui'er nodded seriously, "I'm actually not too angry. I think she just wants to play with me. If mother hadn't told her, I would have played with her."

"You...what kind of 'a piece of water' you are talking about? Is she holding a winter melon this time?" Qing'er wondered if she had made a mistake. Maybe she was a little girl from a neighboring village.

Zhui'er showed a proud look and said, "It's a rope made of water. I saw her tying me with a rope, and I tied her with a rope too. She couldn't tie me up, so she ran into the water."

"You...you...can handle water...rope?" Qing'er felt a bit like a dream and thought it was too unreal.

Zhui'er said with some embarrassment, "I really knew how to do it at the time, but...but then I didn't know how to do it anymore, otherwise I could have tied her up."

Qing'er bit her lip hard to keep the pain going. The eyes she stared at her son were a little confused, and she didn't even know what to ask anymore.

"Really, I tied her up with a rope at that time. Mom, I'm lying." Zhui'er couldn't help but feel a little anxious when she saw her mother's expression.

Qing'er calmed down and said quickly, "Okay, okay, mom believes it, mom believes it..."

In order to dispel her mother's suspicion, Zhui'er spoke even harder, gesticulating and saying, "She was holding the big winter melon. There was no hair on the winter melon and it was slippery. But then..." He frowned.

After recalling it for a while, he said with a guilty conscience, "Then it disappeared for some reason, maybe it sank into the water."

Qing'er murmured, "You tied her up with a rope and scared her away?"

An angry look appeared on Zhui'er's face immediately, "She's so bad. She pretended to run away, and then sneaked back and tied up the little futon with a rope. Mom, she wanted to snatch the little futon away."

Only then did Qing'er understand what really made her son angry.

Zhui'er said angrily, "I wanted Little Futon to play with her before, but you told me that Little Futon can't play in deep water, so I told her not to snatch Little Futon, but she didn't

Obediently, I pulled the whole little Futon'er into the water, and the little Futon'er was really scared."

"How did the little futon come back?"

"I rescued her. I jumped into the water to chase her and broke her water rope, so I brought the little futon back."

"How did you break the water rope?"

"I just wanted it to disconnect and it disconnected." Zhui'er looked at her mother puzzled, with a questioning look in her eyes like "Isn't it supposed to be like this?" Shui Yan's departure made Zhui'er no longer interested.

So obedient, Qing'er could safely leave him at home in the past, but now Zhui'er would run to the river if she wasn't careful, looking longingly into the distance waiting for her sister to come back.
