Chapter 104: Seizing the French Navy Battleship

The Tang Air Force suddenly took action and sank all the ships that Britain was preparing to retreat for Dunkirk's 400,000 British and French coalition forces, causing the 400,000 coalition forces to be wiped out. The losses and the impact were huge, which was a painful blow to the entire British people.

For the French, Dunkirk's defeat in Dunkirk lost their last bit of resistance. The German army surrounded most of France, bypassed the Maginot Line and captured Paris in early June. The newly established Betton government requested a ceasefire from the German army. Another batch of British troops with a total of about 150,000 (including 20,000 Polish troops) began to retreat on a large scale again. On the afternoon of the 18th, the last batch of British troops withdrew from Cherbourg. At this point, as a whole, all British troops withdrew from France. After France announced the cessation of resistance, the German army did not ceasefire, but only agreed to negotiate with France after more than 500,000 French troops inside and outside the Maginot Line were surrounded.

On June 22, the French-German Armistice Treaty was signed. According to Hitler's order, the surrender ceremony was held in a train carriage in the Connbian Forest. This is where Germany signed the surrender letter at the end of World War I. The scenery still exists, but the two sides changed their positions. The surrender agreement stipulates that the northern and western France occupy about 3/5 of the main industrial areas in all territory, Paris, the Straits and the Atlantic coast are all occupied by the German-occupied areas; France bears all the costs of the occupation forces; the non-occupied areas in the southwest are ruled by the Peden government, and the government is located in Vichy. The entire France is actually under the control of Germany.

France fell, and in order to avoid the French navy being controlled by the German army, the British command issued warships to sink the French navy and eliminated the French troops who were not ready to evacuate to French West Africa because these French troops were all ready to surrender to the German army.

However, just on the night before the British operation, the agents lurking in France of the Tang Empire released the news that Britain was preparing to take action against the French navy, which caused huge riots. The surrendered French troops who were not ready to leave France and go to French West Africa began to take action, and they wanted to hand over the French warships to the Germans immediately. The French naval officers and soldiers who were preparing to go to French West Africa and were preparing to continue the war of resistance were not allowed, and bloody conflicts broke out.

In the end, the anti-Japanese war factions, which were not in the upper hand, defeated the surrender factions and controlled the entire Naval Base in Port Toulon. They boarded the French warships that could drive away and prepared to make a comeback to French West Africa. The French warships that could not drive were ready to blow up, or wait until dawn the next day. The British bomber group and the navy came to pick them up before destroying them.

Since the Germans did not control southern France, the Germans were all in the north and were ruled by the Vichy French regime in the south, so they were not worried that the Germans could come quickly to steal or protect the warships.

However, they didn't know that all this was under the secret arrangement of the Ministry of Defense of the Tang Empire. The news was released first to cause internal strife in the French navy, causing both of them to suffer losses. In this way, there were not many French troops guarding the Naval Base in Port Toulon.

Just as the French army was fighting fiercely, six Tang army bustard military transport planes suddenly flew over Toulon Airport, and officers and soldiers from a battalion of the First Army of the Tang Dynasty Airborne Army suddenly carried out airborne. On the ground, more than a dozen agents from the Tang Dynasty had already touched the tower and substation of the Toulon Airport, cut off the airport's external contacts, so that they could not issue an alarm to inform the surrounding French army, and the power switch was pulled down. The entire airport was dark, covering the Tang army airborne troops to safely land at the airport.

All the Tang army airborne troops in this battalion were lightly equipped. Within half an hour after the successful airborne, all of them were assembled and surrounded the entire airport.

At this time, the garrison in the airport had already exchanged fire with the Datang agents who invaded the airport. In order to buy time for the Tang army to airborne, six Datang agents died, and other agents were surrounded on the tower.

The French army was stationed at the airport. When they were preparing to attack the tower and eliminate the invaders, there were suddenly dense gunshots behind the gods. It was the unique sound of the Tang army's standard equipment m1 submachine guns, and it was also the sharpest weapon of the airborne troops, and it was also the invincible weapon for encounters nearby.

In the blink of an eye, a whole platoon of French soldiers were all eliminated by the well-trained Tang army airborne troops, and the Tang army then controlled the entire Toulon Airport.

The tower resumed communication and command, but it was not the channel of Air France, but the dedicated channel of the Tang Air Force. The substation resumed power supply, and the navigation lights on the airport runway lit up.

Not long after, the Tang army's Great Bullet military transport aircraft landed safely on the airport runway one after another. These transport aircraft were loaded with commanders and combat personnel of the Tang Dynasty's First Airborne Army, and a whole regiment of troops. Then various heavy equipment such as tanks, armored vehicles, artillery and other heavy equipment arrived at the airport one after another. The Tang army's airborne regiment troops completed the assembly under full armed force.

When the last dozen transport planes landed, they were officers and soldiers of the Tang Dynasty Royal Navy. They were airborne in France for nothing else, but for the large number of French naval warships anchored in Toulon Harbor. This was a valuable asset. Especially during the war, ready-made warships were valuable than any rebuilt warships, and had great military significance. Zhang Meng did not want the French Navy to be sunk by the British. He needed these French warships to be of great use.

At this time, the Tang Army's airborne armored regiment had set out to the Naval Base of Toulon Port.

A civil war had just ended there, and the victorious anti-Japanese factions were not feeling well. Most of them were injured and had little ammunition left.

When the Tang army's armored chariot suddenly drove over, they immediately thought that the German armored troops had come over. They were extremely frightened. The German armored troops had become their nightmare. But they still gritted their teeth and picked up weapons to resist, but unfortunately it was useless.

The French army's weapons were all single-shot rifles, and the automatic weapons were basically pistols and machine guns. The greatest power was grenades, but these weapons still could not penetrate the Tang army's tanks and combat vehicles.

boom!

When the Tang army tanks fired, the position that the French army had worked hard to build was immediately blown away.

Then came the heavy machine gun fire of the Tang army's chariot, causing heavy casualties and injuries to the French army and were completely suppressed. Soon the Tang army's infantry flanked the flanks and encircled the French army in the Toulon base.

Until the French prisoners saw that the enemy in front of them was not the German army but the Tang army, they were all very surprised. This is so legendary. Where did they come from? Was the time and space tunnel?

The French soldiers complained in their hearts that they were unwilling to give up, but unfortunately they had become prisoners and were unable to turn things around.

When the Tang soldiers rushed to the dock and saw that the French warships parked in the military port were still intact, they immediately shouted like victory.

Until that moment, the French soldiers' hearts suddenly sank to the bottom. It turned out that the Tang army came to these French warships.
