Chapter 50 Bombing Tokyo

On a lake-surrounding the green island in the center of Tokyo, there is a complex of buildings composed of Japanese traditions and Western traditions. It is the imperial palace in Japan, where Emperor Hirohito and his family live.

Hirohito was born in the military system and was a thorough militarist. As early as when he was young, he liked to take photos on the Russo-Japanese battlefield and the ruins of Verdun battlefields to express his desire for war.

As the emperor of Japan, Hirohito's ambitions eventually led Japan to the path of foreign expansion and aggression, bringing a painful disaster to the Asian people.

On Zhang Meng's blacklist, Yuhito ranked first and was the target that must be removed.

The Tang army bombers traveled to Tokyo, and the first target was the Japanese Imperial Palace, which killed Emperor Hirohito. The second was the Yasukuni Shrine.

The Yasukuni Shrine, built in 1869, was originally called the "Tokyo Soul Club" to commemorate the soldiers who died in the Japanese civil war in the Wuchen War of the Meiji Restoration period to restore the power of the Meiji Emperor. In 1879, the Tokyo Soul Club was renamed the Yasukuni Shrine. "Yasukuni" came from the 23rd year of Zuozhan Xigong, "I use Yasukuni" to stabilize the country. After the Meiji Restoration, the Yasukuni Shrine was enshrined as soldiers who died in Japan, including the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, the Russo-Japanese War, and the future soldiers' tablets of the fallen soldiers in World War II.

When the Tang army bombed Tokyo, Zhang Meng specifically instructed that it was necessary to blow up the Yasukuni Shrine, in order to smash the soul of the Japanese army, and to completely shock the Japanese psychologically and let them know that the consequences of offending the Tang Empire were very tragic.

In addition, there are Ise Shrine and Retta Shrine, which symbolize the Japanese imperial power. According to legend, there are Yata Mirror and Cao Shasha Sword enshrined there. They are symbols that the Japanese royal family has been firmly controlling Japan for thousands of years.

The Japanese base camp received information that the Tang army bombers took off from Shanghai and thought they were bombing Taiwan. The Japanese army strictly defended Taiwan for this reason, but the shadow of the Tang army bomber group was never seen.

On the morning of September 18, the Tang army bomber group suddenly appeared over Tokyo Bay. The Japanese destroyer Edo Maru, who was patrolling, discovered the Tang army bomber group that was descending at altitude and immediately sent a notice to the Japanese Navy Command.

When the Japanese Military Command confirmed it and notified the Joint General Staff Headquarters and Japanese departments to prepare for Tokyo air defense, the Tang army's bomber group had already flown over Tokyo.

Hirohito was playing in the garden with his queen and his children. A deafening roar suddenly came out from the sky. He looked up and saw a dark group of machines covering the sky.

"Bastard! Whose troops are this? It's becoming more and more inconsistent!"

Hirohito was very angry. The airspace around the palace was originally a forbidden flight zone. However, since the May 15th Mutiny, the military has become more and more presumptuous and even planned to draft and abolish the Emperor's system. If it weren't for Japan's imperial deification education for thousands of years, it would have really been abolished.

At this moment, a rapid air defense alarm sounded over Tokyo. This was the first time that Tokyo sounded the air defense alarm since the world had airplanes, which was undoubtedly quite shocking.

"This is……"

Hirohito didn't hear that it was an air defense alarm for a while, or he thought that Kyoto was conducting military exercises again. After all, the Tang army made a wild statement about landing in Japan, which had already scared the whole of Japan.

"Your Majesty, it's the Tang army's bomber, hide quickly!"

More than a dozen emperor guards rushed to the garden quickly. Hirohito stood there and slowly looked at the group of machines in the sky with an incredible expression.

The Tang army's bomber group was able to fly over Tokyo, which was like a scorching slap in his face.

While Yuhito was stunned, the Tang army bomber was rapidly descending.

In the cockpit of the long-distance plane, the co-pilot took out a photo album. After opening it, it was filled with photos from all over Tokyo, and there were photos of the Japanese Palace. He looked down and compared the photos to find references.

"Report to the captain! Below is the Japanese palace!"

"Look carefully, don't blow it up in vain if you want to do it wrong!"

"Don't worry, I'm so sharp-eyed, sure! "

The captain nodded and immediately picked up the walkie-talkie.

"All machines should pay attention, the target will arrive, and prepare your lumps!"

Tuotuo means shit. Along the way, the Tang army pilots have already named these aviation bombs, called Tuotuo, which is specially fed the Japanese devils.

“Height 2500 meters!”

"Open the hatch door!"

The JF-11 bomber opened the belly bomb drop door. It was a double track similar to a railway, with six 500 kilogram aviation bombs arranged on the double track.

"Target locked! Ready to drop bombs!"

A set of high-altitude photoelectric aiming devices, which bomb droppers can use to clearly aim at ground targets at a distance of about 2,500 meters, and the bomb drop error is no more than 70 meters.

"Eight-second countdown preparation!"

"Activate the fuse and start dropping bombs!"

The order was issued, and aviation bombs were cut out of the cabin.

“Yi—Yi—Yi—Yi—”

The sharp whistle pierced the sky, and the air bomb weighing 500 kilograms was thrown toward the Japanese palace below with the entanglement of death.

Hirohito and his family fled quickly under the escort of the guards, but they were not as fast as the bombs came down.

"Bang—bang—bang—bang—bang—"

The aviation bombs exploded, and in an instant, the earth was shaking, the air waves rolled, the earth and rocks splashed, and the sound was deafening.

The civil-structured Japanese Palace could not withstand the violent bombardment of the 500-kilogram aviation bomb. Every channel explosion would cause dozens of palace houses to be destroyed. The palace, which was less than 20,000 square meters, was razed to the ground in the blink of an eye, with fire surging and gunpowder smoke everywhere.

The Hirohito family had never experienced such a scene. When the earth flickered, they were all flashed to the ground. When several guards were about to help them up, another aviation bomb fell near them.

With a loud bang, the Hirohito family and the dozen guards were immediately torn apart by explosions, and their broken limbs and arms were blown away hundreds of meters by air waves.

Hirohito died just like this, and his corpse was gone.

The entire palace ignited a huge fire, which lasted for three days and three nights.

At the same time, two JF-11 bombers flew over the Yasukuni Shrine and dropped twelve 500 kilogram aviation bombs. The hundreds of thousands of Japanese military tablets could not save the shrine, leaving only huge pits several meters deep, as if they were hit by a meteorite.

Before the Tang army bomber group entered Tokyo Bay, the eighteen JF-11 bombers of the Second Squadron turned to Ise Bay, razing the Ise Shrine and Retta Shrine, which symbolize the Japanese imperial power, to the ground and turn them into a sea of fire.

The bombing went very smoothly and all the established goals were completed.

However, a JF-11 bomber left an aviation bomb, which was thrown near the Japanese Joint Staff Headquarters building in Shinjuku District when it returned.

Although it did not hit the target, it collapsed one-third of the building, causing hundreds of Japanese military personnel to be killed and injured, causing considerable damage.

When the Tang army bomber group was about to leave Japan, hundreds of fighter jets from the Japanese Army Aviation arrived.
