Section 748 Climbing

After a brief stalemate, the timid young guard chose to surrender.

"What do you want me to do?"

This was almost the same as Gao Liquan had expected in advance. His heart, which was raised high, slowly fell down. While exhaling a breath of turbid air, he said calmly: "Put down your weapons, everything, everything!"

The young guard did as he did. He used his other hand to untie the armed belt and let it fall to the ground. This set of things included a backup magazine and a dagger. Gao Liquan picked up the armed belt and quickly hung it on his shoulder. He held the pistol with his right hand, glanced at the guard who had been knocked unconscious before, and slashed his left hand holding the fork and stabbed it hard towards the guard's throat. The attack was very powerful, and the guard immediately woke up from his coma, widened his eyes and struggled a few times, and completely lost his movement.

This bloody scene shocked the young guard standing next to him again. He silently told himself that he must not violate the will of this murderous devil. No matter what he wanted to do, the best choice was to obey honestly.

Gao Liquan pointed out with his pistol outside the cell: "Now, go out."

There is no trouble along the way, and no one guards the end of the corridor. The elevator door is open. This special setting is to facilitate prison personnel to operate and to mobilize personnel at any time. Now, it has become the convenience that Gao Liquan wants the most.

He pushed the young guard in, switched the gun to his left hand, firmly pressed against the opponent's back. Then, he turned the crank of the elevator to the far right, and the elevator began to operate amid the rumbling sound of gear rotation.

When he was riding this elevator in the past, Gao Liquan never felt the speed of things was annoying. Now, he only felt that this old elevator was terrible slow. One layer after another, the slow speed was comparable to that of a snail. He had to suppress his excitement and depression, and looked at the scale above the entrance showing the floor numbers, and felt the elevator climbing up little by little.

The digital scale had just crossed the limit of "Thirty-one", and Gao Liquan heard the harsh sound of the tweeter coming from outside. It was the prison that the sirens of the jailbreaker were found.

The sound was so harsh that it made people feel shocking. The young guard who was originally depressed but had already accepted his fate suddenly became excited as if he had received a heart attack.

"They found out that someone was chasing you."

The young guard's face was full of pride, and he became arrogant unconsciously in his words: "They will kill you. If you dare to resist, the result will be worse than death. You'd better surrender now. Maybe the guard will give you extra care and let you live."

Gao Liquan smiled faintly: "Are you kidding?"

The young guard obviously thought this statement was a naked contempt for himself. The alarm sounded louder outside through the elevator door, giving him unprecedented courage and his voice became much louder than usual: "Put down your gun, you can't leave this place. I will never obey your orders, nor will I take you out."

Gao Liquan raised his pistol high, aimed at the young guard's head, and asked seriously: "Really?"

The guard felt the threat of death close by, but still plucked up the courage to nod: "Surrender! This is your only choice."

"Bang----"

The gunshots were released at the same time as the syllable of his last word. The bullets shot at close range were extremely powerful, and half of the guard's face was blown away. His body was crooked and he threw him heavily. Gao Liquan glanced at the bloody elevator on the ground expressionlessly, and said with a sneer: "Even if I die, I will drag a few people to hell together. Anyway, you will definitely die in front of me."

Suddenly, a powerful force stopped the elevator operation. The old machine stopped with a "crunch" and then began to descend.

This change was too sudden and had already deviated from Gao Liquan's plan. He turned the elevator crank frantically, but could not stop the elevator from sliding towards his own way. Obviously, the control was not in his hands, maybe it was the main operating room of the prison. But no matter what, machinery was machinery, and external instructions could not have an effect on the machinery itself. After thinking through this, Gao Liquan raised his head and looked around the elevator. Sure enough, he found that there was a not-so-large maintenance port on his head.

"This is simply forcing me to perform a victory escape."

Gao Liquan muttered to himself, inserted his pistol into his belt, then raised the guard's body that was lying on the ground, leaned against the wall, then stepped on the shoulder of the body, and punched the partition on the maintenance port above his head. The thin plate suddenly shattered, Gao Liquan grabbed a handle above and pulled himself into the top of the elevator with a standard pull-up action.

It was dark here, with only a few small lights emitting faint hazy light. In the darkness that extended into the elevator cables outside of sight, Gao Liquan saw a floor of elevator doors passing by. He stood up, walked to the edge, looked up from top to bottom, and saw a stronger light pouring in from several doors not far below. The guards there forced the door to open, and maybe they were ready to shoot from the side. Continue to stand like this, and you will definitely die.

On the wall, there is a ladder for maintenance, extending parallel to the elevator steel cable. Next to it, there is a not-so-large space platform. The elevator descends very slowly, which is in line with the style of this old elevator. If the speed is faster, it may not be able to support it at all and it will turn into a pile of scrap copper and iron on the spot. This is a good thing for Gao Liquan. At least, it is not difficult to grab the crossbar next to it, jump up, and climb up.

Thinking of this, Gao Liquan pulled out his pistol and aimed at the brake gate of the elevator that was moving far above his head and fired repeatedly. Suddenly, the "hiss" sound of hydraulic oil came from the deep well below the elevator. The elevator was like being pulled hard by an invisible hand in the air, and then began to fall down. At the moment when the elevator stopped, Gao Liquan had reached out to grab the escalator on the wall next to him. He climbed up for a few seconds and heard a deafening sound coming from below.

It was the sound of the elevator falling to the ground and smashing through the bottom of the well.

Time became particularly precious at this moment. Gao Liquan used his strength to climb up regardless of everything. He felt more lights shining in from the elevator door above and below. Many chaotic figures swayed around the light, and then there was a harsh gunshot. Something hit the wall next to him and then bounced up. The shooting became increasingly dense, and there were several luminous bullets thrown from above. Because the escalator was very hidden and there was no light inside the elevator shaft, the armed guards standing on each floor could not see Gao Liquan clearly. They were just shooting blindly, shooting randomly at anything that might be targeted by them. Occasionally, a few bullets were very close, and the rest were not accurate.

Gao Liquan climbed up a few more floors, then held his breath and stopped moving. This place was very close to the light-covered area on the floor above. If there was a little movement, the guards might find it. The bullets "swooshed" by him, hitting the wall and making a "crackling" sound. At this moment, the elevator door directly opposite Gao Liquan's hidden position suddenly opened. He hung there, not knowing what to do for a moment. Two armed guards holding rifles poked their heads out of the door and saw Gao Liquan with shocked and angry expressions on his face.

It was too sudden. No one expected that he would meet in this situation. After a brief shock, Gao Liquan took action first. He pulled out his pistol and pulled the triggers at two unexpected guards. The powerful bullet impact force made them fall over. This movement immediately aroused the vigilance of the pursuers from both sides, especially above, the sparse gunshots suddenly became dense.

"He's below."

"On the top, nineteenth floor, or twentyth floor. Grab him, be sure to catch him."

"We have lost several people, this guy must die!"

"He comes in and is upstairs. Be sure to keep it there."

A messy sound came from every corner of the elevator shaft. Without thinking too much, Gao Liquan jumped and jumped directly into the repair platform on the side of the shaft, and then squatted down without moving.

In the chaos, the guards up and down the elevator saw Gao Liquan jumping. The repair platform was very close to the elevator door on the 19th floor, and the light was dim, and no one could see clearly whether he had entered the main building. There was a misunderstanding in human subjective logical thinking. The armed guards all felt that since Gao Liquan did not fall from above, he must have entered the interior of the 19th floor. However, no one expected that the target he was chasing was so cunning. He squatted in the dark, untied the armed belt he got from the young guard, pressed bullets into the empty pistol magazine, rested in silence, and recovered his physical strength.

He continued to squat in a place, quickly calculating the speed at which the armed guards gathered along the stairs toward the 19th floor. About half a minute later, Gao Liquan suddenly stood up, raised his gun with both hands, aimed at a square light source directly above his head and shot several shots. It was the elevator door to the next floor, and a guard who was guarding there was before was shot and fell down from above. This sudden change made the armed guards running on the stairs stunned. Gao Liquan seized the opportunity and immediately jumped back to the escalator to continue climbing up.

Although time only passed less than a minute, it had completely changed his previous mortal predicament. Now, the armed guards upstairs and downstairs are temporarily in a barrier. As long as the speed is fast enough, they can escape before they can react.

Gao Liquan had no extra thoughts in his mind. Both his eyes and his thinking were firmly solidified on the exit to the ground directly above his head. In his opinion, it meant freedom, and that he could always and completely get rid of all current difficulties. Although this idea was unrealistic, it would be at most an extremely one-sided fantasy stage. But for him, persistent and strong beliefs could not be replaced by anything and must be obtained.

The escalator is very long, and Gao Liquan himself doesn't know how many crossbars there are. He has no time to calculate how many stairs he has climbed. He just mechanically repeated the movements of raising his arms, raising his legs, and then climbing upwards. The escalator is parallel to the wall and perpendicular to the ground, and it has to take a lot of effort to maintain the balance of his body. Gao Liquan felt that his shoulders and arms were as painful as being burned by fire. He felt that the wounds on his back, which were whipped hard by a whip, cracked open again. Hell, the doctor was incompetent at all, and the stitched skin would separate again at this time. A lot of blood flowed down the sides of his shoulders, soaking the clothes drop by drop, and flowing along his neck to the front of his body. Gao Liquan could feel the blood dripping down, and his mind also had an extremely malicious consciousness.

If my blood is very heavy, equivalent to a meteorite. Then, the guys below should have been smashed into meat pies, with heavy casualties, hahahaha!

This obviously no longer belongs to the thinking that normal people should have. Gao Liquan himself did not realize this. He was suppressed miserably. Who would have thought he would be sent to prison? I did not commit a crime, and I did not kill anyone. Why do you guys?

Thinking of this, Gao Liquan pulled out the pistol full of magazines and aimed directly at a guard standing at the exit of the elevator directly above to shoot. The shadow was very blurred, but Gao Liquan shot the damn guy with the instinct of the warrior and his skillful operation skills. The shrill scream echoed in the elevator shaft, and then the heavy body emitted a huge impact echo deep underground.

"I will kill each of you guys. If you don't want to die, it's better to retract all your dog heads!"

Gao Liquan didn't think he was crazy. He could only keep shooting, tell these guys to stay away from him with death, or suppress them so that they dare not protrude their heads, so that they had the chance to climb faster. Yes, these armed guards were indeed a group of soft eggs. If they were on earth and soldiers under my hands, they would have been thrown directly into the abandoned city and become flesh in the mouths of mutant creatures.

Soon, when Gao Liquan struggled to climb through a tightly closed elevator door, he saw a white "Thirteen" written on the wall of the floor.

That is a standard number. Whether it is written or shape, it is no different from the printed numbers on the earth. If it were just awakening, Gao Liquan would definitely have a strong interest in this kind of thing and even explore the most carefully. But now, he can no longer tolerate any consciousness except escape. Thirteen, this means that it is not far from the ground. If you spend a little more effort, you can reach the top.

At this moment, Gao Liquan heard the elevator cable in the shaft next to him start to operate again. The previous destructive fall should not have completely paralyzed the old machine. It can still move and can be driven by people. The intention of the armed guards is very obvious. They want to use this broken elevator to keep approaching themselves, and there must be many people on it. Gao Liquan gritted his teeth and tried to pull himself online one by one, trying to escape the elevator that is getting closer and closer, while constantly firing fire above, maintaining fire suppression.

There were many bullets flying up from below, and the lines of death with a striking red light ran around Gao Liquan. A bullet that was very close to hit the wall beside him, and the scattered stone chips stinged Gao Liquan's arm. He screamed strangely, looked down and found that the bullet was shot from the slowly rising elevator. There were several armed guards standing inside, and they poked the hole that had been smashed by themselves before the top of the elevator, turning it into a large enough shooting hole. The distance was about ten floors under Gao Liquan's feet. He turned the gun and fought back down, but immediately summoned an extremely fierce revenge counterattack. There were several people, the same number of guns, and the sound of shooting came one after another, forming a terrible barrage in the deep well of the elevator.

With the blessing of darkness and hidden blessings, none of these bullets could hit Gao Liquan, but he was forced to dodge back and forth on the ladder desperately. In such a narrow place, there were no obstacles, as long as the distance was closer, it was the best shooting target. Thinking of this, Gao Liquan visually measured the distance between the elevator and himself. It was only about five floors high, and it would be absolutely dead to continue standing here. If you climb up, you would not have enough strength or speed to compete with the elevator. Then, the last answer is left.

He jumped down.

Under normal circumstances, if you jump down at a height of five floors, you will definitely be killed. Of course, there are always exceptions in things, and there has been news that someone fell from a higher place, but nothing happened. It cannot be said that this is a kind of luck, or it may be the attachment of heaven, or the sum of various lucky factors when the body lands. Of course, this can only be used as the last move in a helpless situation. You can see it as bravery or stupidity.

Gao Liquan was filled with excitement and fury. He felt that his posture of jumping down from the escalator and falling in the air must be beautiful, and majestic, like an eagle soaring in the sky and pounced down to capture prey. But in fact, his movements and postures were ugly. In this regard, an armed guard who happened to watch the whole process should have the most say.

He saw Gao Liquan's ragged crotch and his underwear that had not been washed for a long time and was yellowed. The movement was not as beautiful as it was, and it looked like an extremely huge toad that fell from the sky.

Toads can also kill people. What's more, Gao Liquan is still a jailbreaker holding a weapon and extremely fierce.

With the heavy sound of his boots lowered, Gao Liquan successfully landed in the elevator.

This is indeed a crazy act like suicide. Here, he can no longer be considered an evolutionary person. With the same physical condition, Gao Liquan is not much better than an armed guard. He felt his legs were numb, and an indescribable discomfort and soreness spread rapidly along the soles of his feet to his whole body. He had no extra thoughts, and he rolled sideways in the elevator like a conditioned reflex. A group of armed guards standing in the middle never dreamed that such a thing would happen. They watched Gao Liquan fall from the sky, and then flashed into themselves at an incredible speed. Then he raised his gun and pulled the trigger at himself with a grin on his face.
