Chapter 104 Crow Prophecy VII(1/2)

Istria slowly turned the blade, allowing the morning light to pass through the shallow floating dust and shine on the sword body made by Han Steel. The gloomy metal light is like a mirror, reflecting a thin, serious face, brown, and sharp gaze. He stared silently, and then gently pulled the sword out of the rack, bringing up a wisp of smoke and dust.

On the sword ridge where the cold light shines, the words engraved with fire castings emit a golden flame-like color in the darkness, "Blood flows like a river, and the crows are lingering; the storm has arrived, and the long ship is coming—" and then an ancient surname and name "Edwin Clevo".

He put away his sword and inserted it into the scabbard wrapped in black leather. On the black painted leather, the emblem of a crow spreading its wings was tied. The sword was hung on the belt, and underneath it was a black coat and chain armor. When he walked, it made a heavy friction between fabric and metal.

The owner of the bakery put on deerskin gloves and walked through the hall. In the darkness, giant rats were flocking, and their slender tails passed through the narrow light cast by the skylight, as if accompanied by the footsteps of the owner here, making a rustling sound. The deserted year has arrived, and these creatures born in the dark are particularly plump and smooth in other places.

Istria walked to the door, took off the gray windbreaker hanging from the door handle, draped it over it, pulled up the cloak, and the low brim of the hat covered his face. He pushed open the door, and the light between the dark clouds suddenly poured into the dim house, and the tiny creatures dissipated in the squeaking sounds. The owner of the bakery raised his head and bathed in the morning light.

He was silent for a moment, silently staring at the shaking light between the clouds. After a while, he raised his right hand and gently pressed the corner of his eyebrows with his index finger and middle finger.

"Is it almost done?"

He moved his lips slightly, as if he was muttering to himself.

A huge raven flapped its wings and fell from the eaves, stopped on his shoulders, and his bloody eyes reflected the man's stubble-covered side face. Under the edge of the hood and at the corner of his eyebrows, there was a small scar in the shape of a claw.

As if responding to his question, the scar suddenly became hot, and even through the thick gloves, it seemed that it could burn life. Istria let go of her hand, raised her eyebrows, and involuntarily recalled the somewhat interesting boy in her heart.

He smiled faintly, lowered his head, covered the door, and walked forward. It looked like a swordsman, wearing a heavy coat, one man and one sword, and the long cloak he was wearing, gradually disappeared at the end of the alley.

Few people saw him leaving, as if until many years later, the people living here had even gradually forgotten that there was a bread workshop here with a taciturn owner.

A timid girl and an interesting boy.

...

"You mean Abigail isn't back?"

"Miss Sandy Night, someone saw Abigail leaving with the other side. I mean, he probably didn't go to that hotel at all."

Sha Ye had a look of exhaustion on his face, and he lifted the tent and walked out, coming to the visitor. Of course, she understood what the other party meant, and for this camp, she was actually just an outsider.

More and more people are willing to stand on their side, but not everyone is happy to see it. Disagreements between the two sides have long arisen, but everyone is tacitly informed.

"What did you say?"

"I said, Abigail did not obey your orders, go to Mr. Ed."

"But if he didn't go to find Ed," asked Saya, "how did Ed find us?"

"This... we don't know, Miss Saya." The two people who came back to report the news also seemed confused.

In the quiet snow, several birds that could not be named fell down with their wings, causing the snow to fall down on the tall pine and cypress. Sha Ye raised his head and looked at the surrounding forests, looking a little silent, and always had some unknown premonition in his heart.

"They..." she asked hesitantly: "I mean the other side, where did you go yesterday?"

"They went to town."

"Why don't you tell me?"

The two people who sent the message looked at each other and said hesitantly: "Miss Saya, there are still many people in the camp who are willing to believe them. After all, before you come..."

"I understand," Saya interrupted them, "No need to say more." A heavy feeling of dizziness came, making the uneasiness in her heart become substance.

She bit her teeth, her face looked a little pale, and she hadn't eaten her grains of rice for two consecutive days, which made her feel a little severely heavy. "Miss Saye, are you okay?" The two of them asked with some concern as they looked at her expression.

Sha Ye shook his head, took a breath, and took a step back slightly, but his feet became soft and he lost his center of gravity and leaned back.

At that moment, she seemed to feel the whole world sinking in front of her, and then there was a dizzy turn. In the rotational perspective, she saw the two people running towards her with panic expressions. Their mouths opened and closed, as if they were calling her name anxiously.

But she only heard a severe tinnitus, overshadowing all the sounds in this world. She only felt someone grabbing her and calling herself loudly.

But Saye never felt so helpless. She had been a pride of heaven since she was a child. She entered the youth training camp in Tapolis with outstanding results, and entered the upper level of the guild without any effort. Compared with Xiaokong, she was the real lucky one.

If so many things had happened after the guild, if it weren't for all this, she wouldn't have fallen to what she is now. But she never regretted it. The pride in her heart made her never easily bow her head and admit defeat, but at this moment, she felt her weakness.

She gritted her teeth and wanted to make a little sound, but she found that she could not even control herself to make the smallest movements, and she felt that she couldn't stop sinking.

She closed her eyes with some trembling, and the helpless tears slid down, but a stinging pain suddenly came, which made her feel that she had regained control of her body. Saya suddenly came to her senses and realized that she had bitten the tip of her tongue unconsciously, and the fishy and salty smell that seemed to have the smell of metal rust spread out from her mouth in an instant.

She didn't care about the pain and immediately spoke:

“Get out of this place.”

The two people who grabbed her were almost stunned for a moment before they could hear this sentence clearly. They looked at each other and asked, "Miss Saye, what did you say?"

"Leave...this place, hurry up..."

Sha Ye shook his head weakly, tears flowing, blood slid down the corner of his mouth, and said word by word.

A sharp whistle sounded over the forest.

Then another closer whistle sounded in the direction closer to the camp.

In the forest, figures in green cloaks appeared. The hunters jumped from the trees and ran towards the camp. They waved their hands vigorously, warning people in this direction, shouting loudly:

"There are enemies!"

"The people from the Crow Claw Temple are here!"

There was a slight silence in the camp, and then there was a sudden chaos, and everyone was in a panic. Almost everyone knew that earlier today, Saye sent the escorts in the camp to receive a sum of supplies.

With these combat powers lost, the old, weak, sick and young in the camp will have the same fate as wolves and tigers, the knights in the temple and the more cruel and greedy mercenaries and adventurers under their command, which can be imagined.

With a "bang", the wooden basin in De'er's hand slid down to the ground, and her face turned pale like snow. She looked at the shadows that appeared in the forest and the black and white battle robe. The nightmare of the past seemed to hit her heart all at once, and her body trembled slightly uncontrollably.

She immediately felt someone pushing her, "Run, Deal, run! Take your sister out of this place quickly-!" Deal didn't have time to see who the person who pushed her, but the word "Sister" seemed to awaken her all at once. She suddenly came to her senses, and the fear in her heart subsided. She took a deep breath, turned around and took a step and ran backwards.

The sound of arrows came from the wind and landed on the nearby tent. The wailing of people before their death came from far and near. She was so nervous that she would fall to the ground the next moment.

She saw the hunters in the protection camp greeting the knights of the Crow Claw Temple, but mainly fought with the mercenaries under the temple. How could these hunters be opponents of special warriors? They were chopped to the ground in just a few strokes.

Those who are familiar, those who have protected them.

Tears suddenly burst out, blurring their vision, but Deal did not dare to stop because her blind sister was still waiting for her. She saw someone shot in the face by an arrow, holding her bloody face and screaming at her, scaring her to scream and falling backwards, and her young body fell into a tent.

Blood suddenly oozed out of her elbows and knees, and the wooden thorns were inserted into her palms, but she had no time to scream and she gritted her teeth and wiped the tears, and got up again. She carefully walked around the dying person and said to the other party: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I can't help you..." Then she continued to run forward with tears in her eyes.

She threw one tent behind her, and the tent where her sister was finally appeared in front of her, but at this moment, Deal suddenly heard a scream coming from the tent in front. Her heart suddenly tightened and stinged, it was her sister's voice-

Several men teasing each other grabbed the weak girl's hair and dragged her out of the tent. How could the girl who could not see disobey these people? She cried and screamed, "Let me go, please let me go..."

When Deal saw this scene, his blood solidified and he stood there in a daze.

The tall and rough men were wearing dirty leather armor. They were not even considered mercenaries under the temple. They were just bounty hunters who followed the latter to ask for some food.

They claim to be adventurers, but the real adventurers guild does not recognize these people at all. Others only call them hyenas, and they will only pick up some dead people's "food" on the battlefield. These people can do almost anything, and they have no mercy in their hearts, and even kill unarmed people for a piece of shabby clothing.

The tall men were now grinning and putting the rusty iron sword in their hands on the girl's fair neck, and repeatedly gestured, as if they were trying to find out where to cut down with a sword to satisfy their bloodthirsty desires.

The girl was trembling, but this only went further and made these scums feel interesting.

But they suddenly stopped and looked at the little man who suddenly appeared with surprise.

"Hey, another one," the man in the lead whistled: "Look at what I found, a little 'shadowman'."

The others laughed in a deep understanding.

Deer looked at these people tremblingly, and the fear in her heart almost drove her to faint immediately. She sucked in small mouthfuls, but she could not move a single step when facing her sister who fell on the hands of these people.

The girl in the men's hands suddenly seemed to feel something. She raised her head and looked in the direction where her sister was, "—Run, Deal, run!—Don't worry about me!" She seemed to have plucked up all her courage and shouted this sentence with all her strength.

But how could Deal run away? That was her sister, her only relative in the world. Tears couldn't stop flowing out. She tried her best to pick up a stone from the ground, and faced these people shakingly.

The bounty hunters smiled softly.

The man pulled out the short sword from his waist and walked towards Deal.

Deal was so scared that she almost twitched. The physical instinctive fear had already suppressed everything. Tears kept pouring out, but she closed her eyes hard and raised the stone tremblingly.

But at this moment, a hand stretched out from behind her and gently pressed her cold little hand.

Dealer trembled all over, opened his red eyes, and looked back blankly. The young man, who was wrapped tightly, held her hand with one hand, while the other hand was quietly pulling a thin sword out of his scabbard.

He only put his hand through the hilt of the cage, raised his sword, and pointed the bounty hunters with the tip of the sword—

At that moment, the young man, wearing a pitch-black coat, a pointed wizard hat, and even a collar that stood up to cover his face. The calm, silent gaze below him, and the sword in his hand, were almost the entire world in the eyes of the little girl.

But the hyenas just sneered, and they seemed to have heard the news that the decent combat power in the camp had already left. "Another unscathed boy," the tall bounty hunter spat, "Hey, boy, I suggest you don't point that thing at us-"

But the box rarely talks nonsense.

He was actually not used to speaking, and he only expressed everything by actions. His left hand wearing leather gloves raised, and the tall man's second half of his sentence came to an abrupt end. He immediately flew up and hit the tree behind with a loud bang.

Almost everyone heard a crisp sound of bone breakage.

The bounty hunters were shocked and woke up like dreams, and they drew their swords. But the boy in the windbreaker pointed at each person with his left hand that he had not put down, and whispered: "Detection, metal sensing, force field, and mind-striking--"

He pointed to the sword in the hands of these people, and gently wiped it with his left hand. The bounty hunters only felt a huge force coming from the sword blade in their hands. At that moment, they seemed to be able to watch themselves slashing at themselves with the sword uncontrollably.

The box looked at this scene quietly and whispered in a low voice:

"Everyone who does his own evil will suffer the consequences of his own—"

The bright sword light flashed by, and the scene looked like every bounty hunter approaching the girl, suddenly became possessed by a demon and nailed it to the spot without moving, and raised his hands and turned the sword clockwise to kill himself.

The cold sword blade blew across the fragile neck, and a bright red blood arrow gushed out. But the blood did not fall, but was frozen in the air.

The surviving bounty hunter looked at this scene as if he had seen a ghost, and his throat made a giggle in his throat because of his excessive fear. The remaining reason made them understand that they could not turn around and escape, and they only made a change of scream and rushed towards the box.

But they were greeted by only a few sword lights. The box was considered a front-line combat power in the Seven Seas Brigade. Killing these seventh and eighth level garbage in front of him is no more troublesome than killing a chicken.
