Chapter 23 Meeting the Big Boss

After more than an hour of rest, Weiss and his cheap dad walked into the office of the Grumman Group president in a refreshing manner.

This office actually occupies the entire floor space of the 68th floor of the "Grumman Building", and there are huge floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides. In the room, except for eight huge cylinders and two elevator lifting passages, the view is fully visible.

Weiss walked 199 steps from the elevator entrance to the President's desk!

When the father and son walked to the desk, the Grumman Group boss, who was originally sitting behind the desk, was a gray-haired man in his seventies wearing a light gray shirt and a green plaid vest. He also stood up and walked to the table, and took the initiative to stretch out his right hand: "Hey, old guy, it's been a long time since we saw you!"

Weiss's cheap dad responded with a humble and arrogant attitude: "Long time no see, Mr. President!"

The big boss smiled and said, "I met last time, but that happened a year and twenty-seven days ago."

Weiss's cheap dad replied: "Yes, Mr. President still has such a good memory!"

While the two were greeting each other, Weiss looked at them calmly. The two men were similar in age and body shape, but one was blue-eyed and white, square-faced and pointed jaws, and one was dark-eyed and yellow-skinned, with a full face; one had rich expressions, flamboyant movements, one was serious and decent; one had sharp eyes, and was powerful without anger, and the other had a deep gaze and restrained emotions.

After chatting for a few words, the big boss turned to Weiss and stretched out his hand casually: "Hey, Long, we're meeting again!"

Of course Weiss didn't remember the last time the two met, so he had to vaguely say: "I'm happy to see you!"

"Come on!" The boss warmly greeted the father and son to sit on the reception sofa. He sat down openly, leaned comfortably on the backrest, and crossed his legs.

Two maids wearing hats and skirts appeared at the elevator entrance at the right time. They pushed a silver dining cart, asked the guests softly what they asked, and then handed three refreshments very skillfully, and then quickly left, which lasted only two or three minutes.

The big boss picked up the porcelain teacup with extremely exquisite workmanship and exquisite style, and took a sip with a calm and elegant sip: "Not long ago, we joked that Lord Lord lives in a heavenly place, and nothing will not come to us. Unexpectedly, a mere sniper rifle bidding with a total order of no more than 6,000 will be invited to you."

Weiss's cheap dad raised the corner of his mouth and smiled and said with a smile: "There is nothing that happened to Somsonas, and it's true that there is nothing that can be hidden from the President. As a result, there are too many things that the President needs to worry about personally. No wonder people feel much older in the past few years."

The big boss of the Grumman Group was not angry, but laughed heartily: "The Lord is right. We secular people are so mediocre every day. We worry about this and that, and we never have a real freedom and relaxation in a day."

"But why bother?" The daddy sighed, "We are all troubled by mediocre people!"

The big boss raised his head and took a deep breath: "That's right, we are all troubled by mediocre people! No matter how hard we work, we will never live to be a hundred years old. In the end, we will still have to be buried in the soil, turn into dry bones, and feed back to nature."

Having said that, the cheap father’s efforts were to prevent the family industry, which lasted for more than two hundred years, and the president’s efforts were to expand business, to occupy more frequent and make more money. The two are essentially different.

Thinking of this, Weiss was indignant. He narrowed his eyes and wanted to see if the battle value of the Grumman Group boss was different or like an ordinary person. Unexpectedly, the red box that jumped out of his sight was actually a red box. This color clearly means that the other party is hostile to him! What is the situation?

This unexpected situation made Weiss's mind a little confused, but at this time the boss turned his attention to himself: "The future will be your young people after all. If you grow up early and take on the big responsibilities earlier, we old men will retire early! Sometimes, I still envy you Lord. Your son and daughter are much more worry-free than my children."

The cheap dad looked at Weis. In the past, he had no face to answer this, but since Weis returned from his training, he successfully took over the "Baking Green" skill, but he miraculously developed a dragon-style sniper rifle. He seemed to be a dead tree, and his whole spirit was greatly boosted.

"I heard... the design you participated in the bidding this time is the masterpiece of dragon?" When the boss said this, he looked at Weiss for two more eyes, with a clear smile in his eyes.

Weis was muttering in his heart that the fundamental principle of the enemy-energy identification device is brain wave detection. For organisms that are not guarded in this regard, they can detect their thinking content, and thus judge whether they are enemies or friends. At first, they encountered the big white bear, and it clearly wanted to eat itself, so the enemy-energy identification device was red, and the white wolf later was also red. Luke, the tall team of federal soldiers, saved him, and had no malice, so the display was green. Later, they met the Norman snipers, which was an enemy who wanted to kill him, so the red was displayed. All the judgments were correct. Could it be that... the big boss of the Grumman Group was also determined to take his own life? Because the sniper rifle he designed was enough to squeeze out their bidding plan, causing them to lose the business of "no more than 6,000 orders"?

"Yes!" replied the cheap dad, "This is also amazing. Our Klumber Heisen family has a rule that after the family heirs become adults, they have to complete some specific tasks alone to hone their minds and exercise their courage. A while ago, taking advantage of the New Year holiday at the military academy, Long went to challenge these tasks. After returning, he was more than ten years old. What he did made me admire him."

"Oh? What kind of tasks are they?" The big boss looked very interested.

"In Somsonas City, this is almost a secret that everyone knows." The cheap dad turned to look at Weiss, "Long, say it!"

Weiss smiled slightly and told the things listed on the paper in concise language.

After hearing this, the big boss of the Grumman Group clapped and said, "It's interesting! It's very interesting!"

Weiss doesn't think he is sincerely praising him. Since even the Klumber Heisen family's intention of keeping secrets clearly can be found out at the first time, how could he not know about this situation that even the aunts on the roadside know?

So he said: "Any soldiers who have received strict training can successfully complete these tasks."

"Oh! I'm not referring to these tasks themselves, but the changes that happened to you are interesting." The big boss looked at Weiss with a meaningful look.

Weiss suddenly felt a sudden trembling in his heart: This guy is a military-industrial giant of the Ulster Federation and must have a close relationship with the military. If he knew the time of his trip to "enter the mountain to practice" and the battle in the Monamolin Mountains, it would not be difficult to connect the two. The key is how much he knew...
