Therulesoflich, expanded rules

lich, expanded lich, expanded

She was half lying on the lounge chair next to the fireplace, posing in a very comfortable position. The fireplace was very warm, but I felt cold and uncomfortable. I tried not to look at her face, but her pair of phosphorus-like eyes were staring at me, and her dead white face seemed to have a kind of ridicule. Her slender fingers with her right hand were hooked with a goblet, and the cup was wine, and the wine in the second wooden barrel on the left of my cellar. But I always felt... it was completely the blood of a living person...

I recognize her, and of course I still remember her. Andoria, my former wife. Now, she is a lich……………………

The Lich receives a +8 race reward on hiding, listening, stealth, searching, observing words and reconnaissance checks.

Paralysis Touch (su): Any living creature hit by a Lich's contact attack must make a strength save (dc23), otherwise it will be permanently paralyzed. Removing paralysis or any spell that can remove the curse can free the recipient (see the spell down for details). This effect cannot be dispelled, and any creature paralyzed by the Lich looks like it is dead. A dc20 reconnaissance check or a dc15 medical check can reveal that the recipient is still alive.

Fear Aura (su): Any creature less than 5hd within 60 feet of the Lich must undergo Will identification (dc23), otherwise it will be affected by the effect of Fear (the casting level is equal to the Lich's casting level). Any creature that has successfully identified will will not be affected again within 24 hours.

Rebukes the Undead (su): Lichs can rebukes and commands undead like priests of the same level.

Quick Medical (su): Lich obtains fast medical treatment equal to 5x ranks. If he is within the range of 100x ranks of his mortal box, the fast medical effect will be doubled.

Floating (su): Lichs walk silently. Lichs are not so walking, but rather floating. They do not leave footprints on the ground, can walk through crumbling elevated roads without support, and can walk on the water at will.

Real name perception (su): If someone pronounces the name of a lich, then as long as the lich is within 100 miles of his distance, the lich may hear it (10% chance). This is very likely to cause the lich to visit.

No matter how outstanding the caster is, he cannot escape the iron rate of nature: aging, and then death. So some casters who are unwilling to surrender to fate began to study the mystery of immortality. It is said that the result of this research is that the lich, who uses his dead body to forever extend his soul and mind.

Strategy and Tactics

Like all living spellcasters, lichs will also be cautious about avoiding conflicts with anyone. This has nothing to do with their camp and rank. For any lich, the most reasonable way to achieve the goal without bleeding is the way to achieve the goal. If a lich is forced to enter the battle, he will definitely leave a deep impression on his opponent: they are not only as powerful as the living spellcasters, but also the bodies of living people are much weaker than the dead body of the lich. If the lich who is forced to enter the battle is a higher rank, then the powerful abilities given by those upgrade rituals can be quickly eliminated.

Create a Lich

A lich is a person that can be added to any giant, dragon, humanoid creature, humanoid monster, sperm or strange monster (such as soul-binding demon, spirit-sucking monster, main brain) (all are called basic creatures below). As long as they can complete the reincarnation ritual, the basic creature that completes the reincarnation ritual will successfully become a lich (the first-class person), and if they want to upgrade the level, they must perform the upgrade ritual. The lich continues to use all the data and special abilities of the basic creature, except as described below.

Most lichs are arcane casters, usually mages or warlocks. Some priests can also become lichs. Sometimes, it is even legendary that there are bards and psychic lichs.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lich's rank

First-Ascending person - Intelligence +2, Perception +2, Charm +2, Dr10/Blunt attack; 4 supernatural powers

Scholars - - Intelligence +4, Perception +4, Charm +4, dr15/Magic and Blunt Strike; 6 supernatural powers

Scholars - Intelligence +8, Perception +8, Charisma +8, dr25/Legend and Blunt Strike; 10 superpowers

Great Lich - Intelligence +10, Perception +10, Charisma +10, dr30/Legend and Blunt Strike; 12 supernatural powers

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Body size and creature species: The creature category of the base creature becomes undead (enhanced subclass). The basic attack, saves and skill bonus are not recalculated. The body size of the Lich has no change (except for the Big Lich, whose body size is reduced by one level).

Hit Dice: The Lich's Hit Dice becomes d12. Wise and higher-level Lichs can obtain additional health points brought by Charm Adjustment Values just like based on their physique.

Challenge level: Basic creature +1+ digits.

Faction: When any non-evil lich performs reincarnation rituals and each time the upgrade ritual is performed, a will identification (dc15+5x level). If it fails, no matter what the original camp is, it falls into the evil camp. The lich's order-chaotic axis will not change.

The evil camp lich does not need to perform this identification.

Defense Level: Lich receives +5 natural armor rewards or natural armor rewards of base creatures, and gets good. Wise or higher-level lich receives a blasphemy (or sacred, depending on the faction) reward at the defense level, while the Great Lich also receives a deflection reward at the defense level equal to his insights of his dice and a reward from the size reduction.

Speed: The same basic creature. The erudite and the great lich have a perfect flying ability of 40+35 feet/level. This is a supernatural effect.

Attack: Lich has contact attacks that can attack once per turn. Even if the base creature can use weapons, the Lich retains this ability. Basic creatures with natural weapons also retain their natural weapons. Lich can use his contact attack or the main natural weapon (if any) when fighting without weapons. A weapon-friendly Lich can choose to use weapons or contact attack. Special: The Great Lich loses the ability to use weapons and loses the ability to cast spells with action components (unless he can use the ability to cast perfectly still spells [see list of powers]).

In addition, when conducting full-round attacks, a lich without weapons can use his natural weapon or contact attack. A lich with weapons can use his weapon as the main attack, while a contact attack is used as a secondary attack (an idle hand or natural weapon can serve as a secondary attack).

Damage: Lich's contact attack can cause damage of 1d8/level + Charm adjustment to live creatures. Successful Will identification (dc10+1/2hd+cast or manipulate psionic key attributes) can reduce damage in half. Lich who chooses to attack with a natural weapon increases additional damage of 1d8/level + Charm adjustment to one of his natural weapons.

Special Attack: Lich retains all special attacks from the base creature and obtains new special attack abilities based on the abilities obtained by the rank. If there is no special description, their dcs are 10+1/2hd+ casting or psychic key attributes. (See the appendix for the description of superpowers).

Attribute: The lich's attributes receive racial rewards based on the rank. The lich does not have physical attributes.

Spell-like abilities or psychic powers: When you complete the reincarnation ritual and become a lich, you gain some spell-like abilities or psychic powers. These spell-like abilities are selected from the spells or psychic powers you know (you cannot choose level 0 spells), and once you choose, you can only re-specify your spell-like abilities again after each upgrade ritual.

The spell-like, psychic-like ability casting level or manipulation psychic-level level is equal to the lich's casting or manipulation psychic-level level. Their DCs are based on the lich's casting or psychic-level key attributes.
