Chapter 1170 Destroy it, I don't like this word
This system of the Jiangnan Chenxue was quite contradictory in later generations, because on the one hand, the Jiangnan Chenxue was indeed built on the basis of the Chenxue established by Chen Zhi at that time. Many key points can even be found in the Chenxue in the imperial examination.
But the real strange thing is that compared with the Chenxue in Jiangnan and Chenxue in the north, these sentences are clearly the same, but they can have completely different explanations, and they are often completely different from the original meaning.
The most amazing thing is that there is even an explanation of that sentence, which itself is used to refute that sentence, and later generations can't help but be amazed.
However, according to the description, it is not rootless. If you look at it carefully, you can actually see that those explanations are more of the famous scholars of the Jiangzuo gentry. They are just wrapped up with a layer of Chen Xue's skin and are intended to promote it.
This approach is actually a kind of helplessness. As Chen Zhi becomes stronger and stronger, the foundation of the imperial examination is gradually laid down, and the vested interest class appears and grows. The rules in the world gradually change. If you want to promote knowledge, relying solely on refuting Chen Zhi's theory is no longer tenable and meaningless.
However, the gentry in Jiangnan claimed to be honest and unwilling to be compared in this regard, so this deformed Chen Xue gradually developed.
In contrast, the remaining three Chen Xueshou are much more honest.
One of them is the most special one, which is derived from Buddhism and is considered to be a Buddhist practice of survival.
The reason behind this is actually a volume of the "Buddha Treatise" in the courtyard Scriptures.
Chen's Buddhist theory discusses Buddhist history and clearly lists many of the Buddhist propositions. What's more serious is that when this volume was born, the translation of Buddhist scriptures from Middle-earth was still in progress, and many contents were not circulated.
So at that time, although there were cracks in Buddhism because of this book, it was still possible to suppress it with the prestige of several monks, and then it could be pinched together.
But later on, as people became more and more aware of the place where Buddhist scriptures were spread, and more and more Buddhist scriptures were translated, the surprise inside became more and more obvious.
Not only were the imported Buddhist scriptures surprised, but even the Chinese people's understanding of Buddhist scriptures gradually showed deviations, each with its own importance, and the gradual emergence of several sects is the most direct consequence.
This result directly led to the decline of Buddhist forces in the south. It was not that there were fewer people who believed in Buddhism, but that there were more Buddhists who could believe in it, so that they differentiated political forces, and not only could they not be able to form a single force, but they were even mutually exclusive.
What was considered a fatal blow was the many details and history written in Chen Zhi's volume of "The Treatise on Buddha" that were confirmed bit by bit. In the end, Chen Zhi, a great enemy of Buddhism, and the hero who dominated the country, obtained the right to interpret Buddhist scriptures and Buddhists. When many ordinary scholars and even famous scholars in Jiangnan, when they got a Buddhist scripture, the first thing they did was not to ask the master for advice, but to first open Chen Zhi's basic Buddhist reviews and compare them one by one to finally determine the value.
This change of ownership of the right to interpret can be said to be very fatal, which caused the Buddhist sect to lose a large part of its influence, but the greater influence is still some subsequent events. This is a later story, and I will not express it for the time being.
However, in order to be able to pass on the Buddhist sect, the Buddhist sect had to take over the words of Chen's study to decorate the store. In the later stages, whenever there was any new research on Chen's study, their Buddhist sect would immediately learn from the past and use it to translate the Buddhist scriptures, which was exquisite.
Apart from this special family, the remaining two Chen schools were relatively ordinary at this time and were circulated among the people. Among them, one of them was mainly in Jizhou, Yanzhou, Xuzhou, Qingzhou and Sizhou.
Because these places did not have large-scale imperial examinations organized by the government, and did not have the opportunity to apply them in practice, they became purely scientific research and slowly gathered towards Heluo. In terms of influence, they were not very strong. The reason why they were summarized by later generations and ranked alongside other branches is because this branch inherited had a huge influence in the faction in later generations.
There is also a branch from Guanzhong and Shu.
These two branches are often even classified as one, but compared with the northern branch, Shu in Guanzhong is relatively closed and has less influence from the outside world, and is actually more low-key. It was only in the era of Hengqu and Sansu that it gradually rose.
This is a later story, and it ends here.
But in a few years, several major Chen schools have gradually filled the world, gradually growing and growing, each leading moral articles, and the disputes in the north have also become clear.
In the fourth year of Chengjing, that is, the seventh year of Jianjia, in 320 AD, Shi Le died. Shi Hu entered Yecheng, slaughtered Shi Le's descendants, and established himself as the King of Zhao. Then he issued a new set of laws and regulations requiring all the Han people in the territory to shave their hair and change their clothes, otherwise they would be arrested, and even the children of aristocratic families were no exception!
Suddenly, a stone caused a thousand straits of waves, which had a great impact. It quickly caused riots and gradually spread to the entire Zhao State. Many people privately said that Shi Hu was dizzy.
But there is also a sensible person.
"In the past few years of civil war and conquest, although the land in the south of Zhao State has been lost a lot, Shi Hu used this to train a strong army with heavy troops, and he also used this to shock the strangers in the territory."
Tong Hai reported in front of Deng En that the spy leader has now replaced Su Liao and is the largest observer of underground order in the entire Xuanjia Army.
"But this person kept Nie Daoren, obviously he was still determined to rely on the power of Buddhism. It seems that the Buddhists have defected to Shi Hu!"
After saying that, he waited for the overlord of the North, and the elegant Chen Zhi gave instructions.
Chen Zhi smiled faintly and said, "Buddhist sect has naturally voted for the new master, otherwise Yecheng would not have been compromised so quickly."
"Since that's the case, do you still have to watch it?" Tong Hai asked, but he already had an answer in his heart, so he said next, "That Shihu is still a small force now. Keeping it can resist Wang Dun in the south. And although he is unstable, his troops under his command..."
"Destroy." Chen Zhi stood up and said simply, "This stone tiger can be destroyed."
Tong Hai was stunned. In his opinion, Youzhou had been buried in his head for so many years, so he had reason to continue. He couldn't help asking for advice and looked forward to Chen Zhi's analysis.
