"You can rest assured." Murphy thought for a while and said to James Franko. "You will not have a scene in the same scene."
James Franco gritted his teeth, and seemed to have used a lot of effort to make up his mind, "I will say hello to the agent."
Seeing Murphy and James Franco's words come to an end, Seth Logan squinted his eyes and asked tentatively, "Are you talking about making movies?"
Murphy nodded.
James Franco said with his tongue, "His first film has just been removed from North America and is preparing for the second one."
"Oh..." Seth Logan was honest, but not stupid at all. Thinking that he had been hitting Hollywood like a headless fly for several months, but he couldn't even get a small role, he quickly spoke, "Director Stanton..."
"Murphy," Murphy reminded him, "call me Murphy."
Seth Logan nodded, scratched the back of his head, and squeezed out a sentence, "I...I am an actor too."
This guy looks very old. If he only looks at his appearance, he seems to be older than James Franko, but he is a young bird who has just entered Hollywood and has no skin training at all.
"Although we had a little unpleasant relationship," Murphy looked at Seth Logan first, and then at James Franko. "But like Jim, I think we are very close. In this way, you come to my studio tomorrow and we will talk about it."
"Do you have a pen?" He turned to ask James Franko. James Franko took out a pen from his pocket and handed it over. Murphy took a look and there was a brand new label on it, and he deliberately sarcastically, "Where did it come from?"
James Franco shrugged, neither admitting nor denying it.
After taking a napkin, Murphy wrote down his contact information and the detailed address of the studio and handed it over to Seth Logan.
After dinner, the three of them chatted for a while and did not part until the early morning.
The next morning, Murphy had just finished breakfast when Seth Logan came over.
"Paul, this is Seth Logan, an actor from Canada."
In the studio's living room, Murphy introduced the two, "Seth, this is Paul Wilson, my assistant director."
After the two of them said hello, he led Seth Logan into a room on the left, which was transformed into an audition room. Murphy has always been cautious in his work and will definitely not just pull him to his crew just because he was called Seth Logan. Who knows what these guys were in the same state when they were not famous?
He found a scene script and asked Seth Logan to improvise it, which was also the first interview.
Unlike James Franco, who has worked with him, Murphy doesn't know much about Seth Logan, so he naturally won't give him an important role casually.
However, this guy performed well. He didn't boast about winning the second place in any performance competition. After more than two minutes of improvisation, Murphy gained a preliminary recognition of him.
The two chatted for a few more times, and Murphy realized that this guy was actually younger than him. Just looking at his appearance, he would have to go up thirty.
“The project has not officially started yet.”
After leaving the audition room, Murphy said to Seth Logan who was following him, "If the shooting starts, it may be until the end of April or early May, you can arrange the schedule."
"No need to arrange it." Seth Logan narrowed his eyes, "I have nothing else to do. Murphy, I'll just wait for your video."
He is not a fool either. After returning last night, he went to the Internet to check it out. Needless to say, James Franko is already a well-known actor. The name Murphy Stanton can also be found on IMDB. The previous work "Fruit Hard Candy" won nearly $1.5 million in North America for a cost of $300,000...
Compared to the TV series crews and the small and optional characters I applied for in the past few days, this opportunity to appear in the movie is too rare.
And the one last night seemed to have some benefits. The three of them had a very speculative conversation. I believe that as long as they performed well, they would likely get a role very much.
Because of the many things at work, Murphy asked Seth Logan to go around himself, and he started a busy day.
For the financial staff who came to apply for the job before the interview, contact James Franco's agent, communicate with Bill Roses behind the scenes of the jobs needed, and further modify the script...
He walked out of the study until noon.
When he came downstairs, Murphy found that Seth Logan had not left, but was helping Paul Wilson to move things. He couldn't help but remember what this guy said, and it seemed that it would be good to get it as a free labor for the time being?
The takeaway for lunch was ordered, and the front desk, cleaner and telephone operator were double-served. She didn't go to Murphy and sat on the chair that could fall apart at any time, quietly enjoying donuts and fried chicken legs.
Murphy and the other two gathered at a table.
"You're welcome, Seth." Murphy stuffed a bento into the fat man's hand. "The studio is just starting out, lunch is a bit simple, don't mind."
"It's okay, it's okay." Seth Logan sat back on the chair and waved his hand. "It's much more hearty than Canadian work meals."
Paul Wilson picked up the Coke Cup and took a big sip. "The lunch of most Hollywood crews is not as good as ours."
All three of them laughed.
"Murphy, Seth is great," Paul Wilson added. "He wrote a script for a Canadian TV show and was adopted."
Seth Logan scratched the back of his head and said modestly, "It's just a small show on Vancouver local TV."
"I didn't expect you to be versatile." Murphy suddenly asked, "Seth, are you interested in the work behind the scenes of the crew?"
"Actually..." Seth Logan smiled embarrassedly, "In addition to the screenwriter, I also want to be a producer and director."
He sighed, "These are the ideas in Vancouver. When I came to Los Angeles, I realized that it was not easy to enter Hollywood. I couldn't even play the performance I was best at."
"I can give you a chance," Murphy suggested. "If you are interested, you can come to my side and do some behind-the-scenes work for the time being."
"Really?" Seth Logan looked surprised, "Can I?"
"Of course." Murphy nodded solemnly, "You can come over at any time."
He looked at Paul Wilson, "You can be Paul's assistant for the time being."
"Okay! OK!" Seth Rogan's fat face was already smiling, "I'm worried about nothing to do. Thank you, Murphy."
If he can pass the audition, in the end, he can give him a title such as assistant director or assistant producer, except for the cast list. Anyway, he doesn't have to spend money on these, but he can earn free labor.
