In fact, this is a misunderstanding. There are two takeoff lines on the leap deck of the Kuznetsov aircraft carrier. If the short one is used, it can only take off half oil. If the 175-meter long takeoff line is used, it can take off with full load, but the takeoff position has overlapped with the landing area, resulting in a low utilization rate of the deck.

At the same time, the fire control system can also carry various advanced weapons. In addition to various ground-to-ground weapons, as the main weapon to seize air supremacy, it can even carry the latest air-to-air missiles of the Pennant Design Bureau

If it weren't for the fact that the ski jump takeoff was too high, even such long-range air-to-air missiles would want to be mounted on the MiGK.

The ski jump takeoff method can allow fighter jets with a large thrust weight ratio to take off, but cannot allow other aircraft with a small thrust weight ratio to take off under various sea conditions. The solution for a carrier-based early warning aircraft based on Card 27 is also under development, and the current Soviet aircraft carrier formation has one of the biggest shortcomings, which is the lack of a carrier-based early warning aircraft.

Due to the influence of the curvature of the earth, the fleet's air defense force cannot be found. To make up for this defect, the aircraft carrier formation adopts the method to put the two escort Krivak-class missile frigates as far as possible, so that the top radar of this frigate can be used to discover enemy aircraft flying further from the sea. Even so, the air defense range is only expanded by about 50 kilometers.

Due to the limitation of the number of carrier-based aircraft, the naval carrier-based aircraft aviation teams have formed a habit of using their own radar to scan the airspace after taking off to provide more early warning time for their aircraft carrier formations.
