Questions about spheres of influence and related settings (1)

Regarding the sphere of influence and related settings, I always thought that if everyone could be patient or read a book carefully, they could slowly outline a world of their own in their minds.

Maybe some book friends are too impatient, maybe my books are slow to heat up, or some book friends lack some basic frameworks for ancient Chinese history and geography, so I will give you a detailed introduction to the background and related situation of the book I envisioned myself.

I will introduce these settings one after another, hoping that it will be helpful to friends who like this book.

The historical background drawn from this book is roughly from the late Tang Dynasty to the early Five Dynasties, which is about fifty years after the Huang Chao Rebellion, which is about 933 to 934 AD.

Due to the evolution of history and the influence of some unexpected factors, such as the changes after the Three Kingdoms returned to Jin, the Five Barbarians invaded China more fiercely, the Great Sui Dynasty disappeared, and the prosperity of the Li Tang Dynasty still existed, but the intensity of the Huang Chao Rebellion was not that great. The expansion of the forces of the vassal lords and local tribes made the difference become the current pattern.

According to the administrative region design at the end of the Tang Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty was based on Dao, prefecture and county as the basic administrative divisions. However, the Dao level itself belongs to the supervision area like the prefectures in the Han Dynasty. However, with the abuse of official positions such as the various military governors, strategic commanders, comfort envoys, and Guanfeng envoys, the administrative divisions at this level became increasingly empty, and replaced by various separatist areas as a hidden division, such as the Taining Army's jurisdiction, the influence army's jurisdiction, the Dongchuan Jiedushi, Liang (the fief of King Liang), Wu (the fief of King Wu), and the Ehuangqi Funeral Envoy.

Therefore, the most stable administrative division in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties was counties, but because the county area was too small, the relatively stable administrative division at the state level highlighted its status.

So let me briefly introduce some of the geographical locations and situations in the current background of this book.

The protagonist's position is Gushi, which actually corresponds to the current GS County of HN Province, which belongs to GS in history, and Gwangju belongs to Huainan Road.

Huainan Road is under the jurisdiction of the fourteen prefectures of Yangzhou, Chuzhou, Chuzhou, Hezhou, Haozhou, Luzhou, Shouzhou, Guangzhou, Qizhou, Shenzhou, Huangzhou, Shuzhou, Anzhou, and Mianzhou. During the Li Tang Dynasty, the regional names of the fourteen prefectures changed slightly, but in the background of this book, it was set according to the fourteen prefectures.

Let’s talk about Gwangju. Gwangju is actually the eastern part of XY City. The five counties of Gwangju are located in Dingcheng. It is roughly the current HN Huangchuan, Guangshan is the current Guangshan, Yincheng is the current mall, Gushi is Gushi, there is only one more Le'an, and the area under its jurisdiction is roughly the area between LS and GS counties of XY City.

The protagonist's current position is Gushi. Gushi is located at the intersection of the Jianghuai River and the Central Plains, and at the same time it also traverses the Huai River. Its geographical location is very important.

The mountainous rivers in this area are mainly the Tongbai Mountains in the south - Dabie Mountains, and the Huai River in the north, that is, the Huai River. Among them, the important tributary is the Huai River, which is the current Guanhe River and the tributary Shihe River.

Since this historical background was in the late Tang Dynasty and early Five Dynasties, the slightly different one was that the Huang Chao Rebellion did not cause such great damage to the Central Plains, so the economic conditions were acceptable, the population did not decrease so much, and the prices were not so high, so I would like to explain it here.
