Chapter 419 Cooperative Production

Seeing Dahua Industry returning with a full load, Rong Shangguo was also a little relaxed while jealous.

The time conditions for signing these bidding contracts were so harsh that although Rong Shangguo wanted to win several high-priced contracts, he eventually gave up.

Thinking about the liquidated damages that cost tens of millions or hundreds of millions of yuan, Rong Shangguo's ambitions before departure were quietly extinguished, but instead he felt aroused. Sitting on the plane, he couldn't help but ask Su Cheng a similar question: "Can Dahua Shipping Industry complete the 9 ships?"

"Of course, Dahua Shipping Industry has been expanding since last year. Moreover, we use the flat-ground shipbuilding method to not be restricted by the docks, and we can start construction at the same time."

"If it cannot be completed, the shipping company will suffer a huge blow."

"If you have a few hundred million yuan, you can only accept the compensation." Su Cheng smiled and said, "If the contract is not signed today, if the ship market becomes weaker, it is probably the order will become a problem again."

"That's right, I always feel that the risk is too great."

Su Cheng smiled and did not respond. Su Cheng has seen many state-owned enterprise people like Rong Shangguo in recent years. To be honest, they are cautious, and to be bad, they are lack of courage.

The 30-year planned economy is not about honing managers, but about selecting managers. Just like natural selection, the management officials who are respectful and cautious are kept, and those who are bold will eventually be rejected, just like an organism's rejection of cells that are not the body.

Rong Shangguo has already had several open officials in China. He knows English and is skilled in technology and has received many years of party spirit education. But from Su Cheng's perspective, he is still conservative. Faced with the sudden drop in bidding prices and bidding time, he did not flexibly reduce expectations... The opportunity for heavy industry has always been fleeting. A ship design is good enough to build 10 ships, and a set of equipment will be old after 10 years. If it cannot operate at full capacity in 10 years, the profit will be very small.

The 9-month delivery time may be a little short, but even without advanced technologies such as flat land shipbuilding, it is not impossible to mobilize all workers in the factory.

It can only be said that decades of leisurely work erased the factors of their struggle.

I set off in the morning and returned to my own port at noon.

After getting off the plane, Rong Shangguo said a little unwillingly: "This bid is really crazy, alas... China Shipbuilding will live a hard life this year."

Su Cheng shrugged. The burden on China Ship is very heavy. As the end of the year approaches, there will be problems with the payment of the supplier if there are no high-profit orders.

Rong Shangguo glanced at him and said in a chat: "In recent years, prices have risen rapidly. Government officials and industrial institutions have all raised their wages, and our employees have also asked for it. Two years ago, the finance department calculated the calculations and said that only 300 million yuan was left. We added some overtime pay for front-line employees, thinking that when the situation is better next year, we would raise our wages for everyone. As a result, after calculations last year, we lost more than 100 million yuan. This year, the entire factory was busy and built two more large ships. Finally, it was like this and it could only be considered flat."

Su Cheng knew what he wanted to say, but he didn't want to follow his wishes. He just sighed: "In recent years, the company has not had a good life."

"That's right?" Rong Shangguo exclaimed and said, "90 years ago, our front-line workers had a salary of 100 yuan, and the bonus was 100 yuan. At that time, the cadres of the agency only received 1,000 yuan a year. Who is not envious of the CSRC? The workers are also energetic. I remember that in 1988, a newly transferred deputy director was interested in our monthly salary of 107 yuan plus 120 yuan, so he wanted to put his partner in our factory to work. The Party Committee studied for a few days, but he didn't agree. He was so angry... Until now, our front-line workers still received 200 yuan, and the government cadres also received 200 yuan. The other person's bonus was two or three hundred yuan, and our bonus was 1 or 20 yuan. It's embarrassing!"

"The country has difficulties, but there is nothing we can do about it." Su Cheng said casually.

Rong Shangguo sighed: "The work efficiency of our Chinese ships is indeed not as good as that of private enterprises, but over the years, we have done a lot of things. The country has a weak foundation, we build large ships by ourselves, the enterprises have less funds, and we advance funds to support national construction... Our workers have sweated and bleeding. Our products cover all the main battleships and auxiliary ships of the Chinese Navy. Our civilian ships have passed the inspection of major classification societies in the world from scratch. It is really not easy."

He looked at Sucheng and said, "Our workers deserve better treatment."

Su Cheng stroked his fingers and lowered his head for a while and said, "Just Rong has anything to say, just say it."

"It's so sad to be in the end of the year." Rong Shangguo looked at the exit in front, stopped and said, "We said before that we each bid, each bears responsibility, and cooperate in production. The 9 ships were bid by Director Su, so of course they were the bids of Director Su. China Shipbuilding is also willing to cooperate in production with Dahua Shipbuilding Industry, but... the shipyard is really difficult."

"Well, as we said before, if China Shipbuilding is willing to cooperate in production, it can get up to 30 profits. If Mr. Rong is interested, we will see how much we can share after we go back."

"I don't mean that..." Rong Shangguo touched his chin and said, "Dahua is willing to give production to China Shipbuilding. This is friendship. However, I have a reluctant request. According to the regulations, the shipowner must pay a deposit of about 30 to the shipyard..."

"The shipyard must advance more than 50 yuan to receive the second sum of money."

Rong Shangguo said embarrassedly: "I want to ask if the work assigned to China Shipbuilding can be considered a deposit for us?"

Su Cheng understood now and couldn't help but sigh.

The large state-owned shipyard can't even get rid of the blame.

Although I have heard of this kind of thing before and expected it, it is still very touching to encounter it.

Factory with tens of thousands of employees and hundreds of millions of assets cannot afford the payable next month? It will only happen in this special period in the 1990s.

His thoughts made Rong Shangguo mistakenly think it was a rejection, and he said disappointedly: "No need to give a deposit in proportion, 30 million is enough, or 20 million is enough."

Su Cheng waved his hand as if he was awakened from a dream and said, "Just pay the deposit of 30. The 30 for 30 is about 9. Is it OK?"

"Of course, of course." Rong Shangguo nodded quickly.

The deposit of 9 ships for 9 ships must be more than 50 million. There was no need to give a production factory first for such a large sum of money. Advances in the heavy industry are very common and are an invisible threshold. No matter what it is for production, it is the same. Rong Shangguo hesitated because his requirements exceeded the requirements of general factories, especially when the production qualifications were not finalized.

Su Cheng took two steps forward, stopped again, and said, "Since we talked about deposit, I want to talk about the outsourcing situation by the way."

"certainly."

"We want the shipyard of China Shipbuilding to help build the ship's total section."

"Total section?"

"The sectional shipbuilding method is to divide a ship into more than 100 parts and make splicings separately. For the total section, it is just divided into several parts, which can be manufactured by different shipyards and then transported to the general factory for splicing." Su Cheng briefly explained and then said: "The best case is that the shipyard uses the sectional shipbuilding process to produce the general section, which is the fastest. It is okay not to do this, as long as the total section can be produced."

There is nothing special about making the process of the total section. Suppose a ship is divided into 6 parts, and that total section is equivalent to one sixth of the hull. The shipyard of the medium ship can produce the entire ship, and naturally the total section can produce the total section. The most difficult part of limiting the popularization of the total section shipbuilding method is the precision of welding.

For a 10-storey ship, the upper and lower error cannot exceed 2 cm when splicing two total sections. Such requirements must be made by laser ranging and computer-specific calculations.

Of course, the accuracy requirements of the segmented shipbuilding method are also very high. The difference is that a 30,000-ton ship is divided into 100 parts and 5 parts. The weight and volume of each part are dozens of times different, and the difficulty of splicing will also increase accordingly.

For shipyards, the production difficulty of production of sectional workshops and shipyards in total production sections is actually lower than that of producing the entire ship by using the old methods, and the difficulty is all concentrated on the final splicing of the general factory.

Naturally, the main technology is concentrated in the main factory.

Rong Shangguo's level in the shipbuilding industry is ten streets higher than Sucheng, and he immediately understood the paths inside.

He actually prefers to make a whole ship. Even if it is part of the whole ship, he earns more than to make a part of the ship and a total of the ship.

However, Dahua decided to use a new method to build ships, and Rong Shangguo could not change Sucheng's intentions.

People sign a contract with a lead time of 250 or 260 days, and the old method is destined to be unable to accomplish such a feat.

Rong Shangguo could only nodded silently. For the current Chinese shipbuilding industry, getting a deposit is more important than anything else.

Su Cheng didn't tell him how many total sections he had done.

At the current progress, nine ships must be started at the same time. If the experience of other shipyards is based on the experience of other shipyards, at least more than three shipyards must be manufactured at the same time.

Dahua's use of the giant total section shipbuilding method will not really reduce the workload. It just transfers the production of the total section to other shipyards.

The 9 ships require at least 40 total sections, which can theoretically be produced by 40 shipyards at the same time. In that case, it may not be used for 250 days.

However, shipyards have a cost to release materials. Giving a shipyard a quarter of a shipyard's share is not very willing to accept it. However, if the number of total sections is increased to 4, there will be more shipyards willing to accept it.

From this point of view, it may take 9, or at least 5 shipyards to catch up. There are still doubts about whether China Shipbuilding has 5 shipyards involved. If they are unwilling to take over, Sucheng will have to outsource it to foreign shipyards.

The advantage of the total section shipbuilding method is that Dahua Shipping can send 4 bows or 4 sterns to the same shipyard.

It is obviously easier to build a bow with the same tonnage than building a complete ship, which is obviously easier to build four bows with the same tonnage. If these total sections are then staged shipbuilding method, it will be simplified.

This was also when other domestic shipyards had not yet begun to adopt the segmented shipbuilding method in 1993. Otherwise, Sucheng would dare to bid for 200 days.

Pei Zhongyong, who returned to Modern Heavy Industry, still could not imagine what kind of excellent results the application of new technologies and new ideas could produce.
