115. Contest for the throne (5)

The dawn of the next morning came particularly late.

Siro woke up several times in the middle, and finally opened his eyes wide until dawn.

The chirping sounds of birds chirping outside the window. They are so cheerful and carefree. Siro feels a little cynical. He tiptoed out of the bed and took a cold shower downstairs.

Keane was still standing at the stairs, standing straight as if the standing posture of one night did not make his body feel any fatigue.

Gallon appeared in the living room. He looked at Siro calmly, as usual, without any darkness or hiding.

The birds were still chirping outside the window.

Siro felt his mood change slightly. At least the birds' chirping was not as annoying as they just woke up. "Go and rest. There is Galen." He said, looking at Galen meaningfully.

There was no sign of the gallon, as if it were all normal.

Siro walked to the living room and turned to find Keen standing there, "Don't you understand what I said?"

Keane said: "Your Highness has not arranged my room."

Siro hooked his fingers to the butler who came out of the kitchen, and then pointed to Keane on the stairs.

The housekeeper said: "Yes, Your Highness. I will find a room that is spacious and bright enough for Mr. Keane."

Keane then walked down the stairs.

The housekeeper thought for a while and said, "Your Highness. During your absence, Mr. Frank and Mr. Patrick came to see His Highness Soso twice."

Siro stopped, "Have they said anything?"

The housekeeper said: "No. But they look anxious."

Siro nodded, "Send someone to the college president's office to see if Aunt Olivia is back."

"yes."

Olivia did not go back.

In fact, she had been waiting in the conference room of the Empire Hall for a full night.

The attendant who was temporarily transferred from the Sirobe Palace looked at Olivia's darker face in fear, and carefully delivered coffee.

"Is Your Majesty the Queen still free?" she said coldly.

The attendant said, "If you don't mind, I'll ask for instructions."

"No need." Olivia stood up from the chair. Chen Guang rubbed her outline and left a long shadow on the table. "I'll go find her myself."

"Sir, the College!" The attendant was shocked.

But Olivia had already blown out like a gust of wind.

The door to the temporary bedroom was pushed open.

Queen Samantha was wearing silk pajamas and sitting on the rocking chair in front of the window, with her long hair spread over her shoulders, making her look lazy and elegant.

"I'm sorry for disturbing me." Olivia stood at the door with her chest in her arms.

Queen Samantha said without raising her head: "Your patience is getting worse and worse."

"Is it time to test my patience?" Olivia walked in and closed the door.

Queen Samantha raised her head from the book, took the coffee beside her, took a sip and said, "Have you been waiting for one night?"

"You haven't slept all night?"

The two spoke in unison.

Queen Samantha said, "No, I just got up."

Olivia suppressed the anger that surged into her chest and said, "Give me a reason to avoid it!"

"I want to be alone." Queen Samantha put the coffee cup on the coffee table and her eyes fell on the book again.

"Silo is back. Shouldn't this be worthy of your concern than parliament?" Olivia's eyes flashed with sparks that could spark a prairie, "or have you changed your original intention?"

"No, I never changed my original intention. I was just hesitating about the way to achieve it." She closed the book and looked out the window.

There was a pot of lily trembling gently in the wind.

Olivia said: "I'm waiting for you to explain why you don't see me."

"I said, I want to be alone."

“Because of Casdaron II?”

"No." Queen Samantha said, "He has never been a trouble for me."

Olivia said, "Madam Rachel?"

Queen Samantha said: "She is even more not."

"I can't think of anything else to bother you besides them."

Queen Samantha said, "There is. Siro."

Olivia was stunned, "He is back and safe."

"This is my trouble." Queen Samantha said, "If possible, I really hope to stay in that castle and spend the rest of my life quietly with the people I like."

Olivia frowned and said, "What do you mean? Don't you want him to inherit the throne and become the wise emperor of the empire? Why do you want him to spend the rest of his life quietly in the castle? No, why do you know that he is in the castle? Did you know Casdaron II's conspiracy long ago?!"

"You have too many questions, which one should I answer first?" Queen Samantha looked at her with a little innocent look in her eyes.

Olivia was unmoved, "Everyone."

Queen Samantha stood up, put the book aside, and whispered: "Yes. Casdaron II has my confidant beside him, and I know everything he makes."

"Including the matter that he wants to imprison Siro?"

"Yes."

"Is that why you suddenly asked me to come to the council to look for Luther King that day?"

"Yes."

She admitted so simply that Olivia was uneasy, "Why? Why did you do this? Are you trying to hone Siro?"

"Olivie," Queen Samantha softened her voice as if she wanted to calm her impatientness, "Do you still remember my ideal?"

"Remember. Support your children to become the emperor of the empire and create the prosperous era of the empire." Olivia replied without hesitation.

Queen Samanta smiled and said, "Yes."

"But don't you think you've let Siro bear it more than he can bear?" Olivia accused, "You shouldn't let him fight alone. It's too dangerous! Even if you cultivate the future heirs of the empire, you shouldn't..."

"I didn't want him to be the future heir of the empire." Queen Samantha cut off her words lightly.

Olivia was silent.

Queen Samanta stood five or six steps away from her. As long as she took a few steps closer, she could see everything about her. But all this was just the surface. She found that she might have never really met the person in front of her. Although, they had known each other for more than twenty years.

"What did you say?" she asked in disbelief.

Queen Samantha put her hands gently on her stomach, and a gentle look appeared on her face.

"You won't be telling me..." Olivia looked at her in surprise.

Queen Samantha said: "After I came back, I had sex with Casdaron II." As long as I had sex with the emperor, I would have sex records.

Olivia felt her head suddenly blast! She stared blankly at the woman with a familiar face that she had, but she could not understand every word she said just now. "Even if that's the case, you may not be pregnant." Not long after she came back, even if she was pregnant, it wouldn't be possible to see it so quickly.

Queen Samanta said calmly: "As long as I want, I will get pregnant."

Olivia suddenly seemed to understand something. She felt a stone pressing on her chest, heavy, almost breathless, "Even if that's the case. In the presence of Siro, he wouldn't be able to inherit the throne."

Queen Samantha lowered her eyes, "So, I hope Siro can stay in the castle."

"You're crazy!" Olivia finally broke out, "You actually tried to compete with your biological son for the throne!"

"I suddenly understood a truth more than twenty years ago." Queen Samantha slowly turned her head, her eyes slowly becoming as cold as an ice skate. "If you want to gain true freedom, you must stand at the highest point and let everyone stand on the soles of your feet, unable to shake you, unable to control you, and unable to say no to you."

Olivia's face suddenly softened, "Are you still holding a grudge against what happened back then?"
