13. Adaptation process (2)

Dilin thought he was just the top leader and would not spend much time, but after he really helped, he realized how much work was. After he followed Luce's command and put all the books and documents in a small room, it was already dark. He said goodbye to Luce and returned to the row of bookshelfs about the competition information. Sure enough, there was a man waiting there.

The dark oil lamp was hung next to the bookshelf, and the man was sitting in a rocking chair and swaying, as if he was sleeping and waking up.

Di Lin squinted his eyes and looked at it carefully for several times before he realized that the person was Hydein.

"Teacher." He kept his surprise in his heart, and thought that only Suo Suo would stay and wait for him at this time.

Hydein said lightly: "Have you packed it up?"

Dilin replied like a vocal worm: "Pack up."

“It’s very hard to move?”

If it were someone else, Dilling would have thought the other party asked this because he was grateful, but Hyde was not such a person. He didn't contact him many times, but he was extremely confident about this. "It's okay."

"Those are my experiments," Hydein paused, adding, "in recent years."

Dilling immediately understood the meaning of the question he had just now. He could even see that Hydein must have said in his heart: Look, you have been so tired after moving for so long. You should be able to imagine how long it took me to do this experiment, how much effort it took, and most importantly, how much success it has been achieved, right?

The rocking chair suddenly stopped, and Hyde slowly stood up by grabbing the armrest, "You haven't participated in the perceptual practice of elements for a long time."

Di Lin's face was a little hot, as if he was a child and was caught by a court etiquette teacher. "I have been interning recently."

"Are these things difficult?" Hyde waved his hand to the bookshelf and a book flew into his palm. Instead of turning it open, he handed the book to Dilin, "What is the page 64 of the Rose Tea System?"

Di Lin was stunned and said for a long time: "Is there any specific problem?"

"Every cup of rose tea has its unique charm, it is the fragrance that every rose burns in life. Therefore, before drinking rose tea, you must pray devoutly, respect every flower, and cherish every passing life."

Dillin turned to page 64 in a sceptical way, and the exact same sentence made his eyes wide open in an instant.

"Page 65. The red rose represents enthusiasm and unrestrainedness, and its charm can only be understood in winter or at night. A candlestick must be placed on the table, and the flames are used to echo its fragrance."

"Page 66. If you drink rose tea in warm or stuffy weather, then please repent. You must repent. Because it does not match the color of the red rose. This is blasphemy and no one wants to see it."

“Page 67…”

"You've all been recorded?" Dilin woke up from shock and interrupted him with a headache.

Hyde looked at him directly, "Do you need to change a book?"

Dillin looked at his open gaze and shook his head silently.

Before entering the Holy Academy, he had already had the awareness of encountering various strong men, but this awareness was based on magic. He never thought that anyone could compare him to the ground with his memorization.

"You've ever got the first place in the endorsement competition?"

"I didn't participate." Hyde said arrogantly, "there is no value to participate in a match without an opponent."

Dilin said inexplicably: "Then why do you still have to recite it?" Does he also like rose tea?

Hydein said: "Even if it's nonsense, I hate nonsense that I don't know."

Dilin's eyes were unresolved of doubt.

Hyde explained more bluntly, "I like the feeling of knowing everything."

Di Lin: "..." The arrogant and hopeless person in front of him is really his mentor for the next three years? He suddenly felt that his future was beginning to become rugged.

Heide quickly confirmed that his premonition was correct. "But as my student, I was very, very, very dissatisfied with your performance." The three very very words were separated for a while, which felt more stressful than the stress.

Dilling lowered her head and said nothing.

"Come with me."

With a wave of his hand, the oil lamp went out.

Dillin could feel his wide black robe passing by, carrying a gust of wind. He did not dare to neglect and hurriedly followed.

Luce sat on the table and ate the steak comfortably. After being tired, it was really a wonderful thing to be able to have a meal quietly like this.

"Dinner is delicious." For some people, the sudden sound of Hydein suddenly appears at such a place at such a time, which is really a terrifying effect.

Luce was one of some people. The fork that was about to be sent into the entrance suddenly stopped in the air. He looked up at Hydein who was walking in front of him, and a smile that was absolutely unnatural on his face, "Tagiris?"

Hyde waved his hand and the lights hanging behind Luce rose a little higher, "There is only one word difference between amblyopia and mentally retarded, so be careful."

After knowing Hyde for a long time, you will know that sometimes ignoring and forbearing are also a way of survival. Luce has lived on this path to this day. "I make sure your research results are lying in a confidential archive room and sleeping beautifully. Well, why do you still need to appear here?"

Hyde was close to the platform.

The condescending pressure made Luce's body lean back involuntarily.

Hyde reached out and took the plate in front of him, and handed it to Dilin.

Dillin took it blankly. In front of Hydein, his observation was useless. The other party was always doing things beyond his cognition and imagination.

"Are you hungry?" Hyde asked.

Dilling looked at the steak with only half of the remaining steak, and his eyes twitched slightly. Although he couldn't see it, he seemed to be lussed with Luce's saliva from the gap where he felt the steak was being cut.

Luce protested faintly: "That's my supper."

Dillin seized the opportunity, quickly put the plate back, took out the bread from the space bag and said, "I'll just eat bread."

Hyde raised his eyebrows, "Is the bread better than steak?"

Without saying a word, Luce picked up a fork and poked it on the steak, put it into her mouth, and her originally thin cheeks suddenly bulged out.

Hydein looked at Dilin with his head tilted.

Dillin held the bread and didn't say anything.

After a while, Hyde took the bread from his hand, took it to his mouth and chewed it, and turned around and walked out.

Dillin looked at Kong Kong's palm and took out another bread from the space bag helplessly, and followed him while gnawing.

Hydein didn't go much far, but just found a spacious open space in the woods.

Seeing that Hyde had finished eating the bread, Dilling immediately stuffed the bread into his mouth.

Hyde raised his hand and suddenly a cluster of flames rushed up, "Do you feel it?"

Dillin first looked at the fire, then closed his eyes.

The green shadow of the fire was still in front of his eyes, but his mind projected a lot of shiny water elements. "Water elements, a lot of water elements."

"What about this?"

Hydein's voice suddenly became very close, and there was a stream of heat floating over with his voice.

Dilin felt the water element suddenly dissipate. He opened his eyes inexplicably, but saw the flames burning in front of his nose. He was shocked and subconsciously retreated, but his back was firmly blocked by Hydein's arm.

Hyde said in a deep voice: "A good magician will be defeated by other magician elements, but will never be scared by other magician elements."

The fire was beating, not only in front of Dilin, but also in Dilin's wide pupils.

Hyde did not withdraw his hand because he rushed to sweat was seeping out of Dilling's clothes behind him.

"The magicians against elements, just like knights against swords, are weapons. You must understand them, whether it is water, fire, wood, or earth. From now on, you must learn ambition." Hydein's words gently blew into Deerin's ears, hotter than the flames, "the omniscient ambition."

Dillin felt his heart beating violently. He endured the fear of the flames shaking in front of his nose and slowly closed his eyes.
