Chapter 72 Hydra (Part 2)

When the call came, Nick Fury was still asleep.

He was awakened by the ringtone and a little bit of a bad feeling rose in his heart. After taking the phone, Colson's voice rang out: "Sir, I got a bad news."

Nick Fury's heart sank, but he calmly said: "What news."

"Hydra may still exist in this world."

After a short while of silence, Nick Fury said in a deep voice: "Where are you now, I'll go there."

He knew very well that his subordinates would not joke with him on such issues.

After cleaning up a little, Nick Fury took Hawkeye to the helicopter heading to the New York base and looked at New York under the night sky. He was in a heavy mood.

Since World War II, Hydra has disappeared. Everyone, including him, thought that Hydra had been cleaned up. Who would have thought that today, decades later, he would hear the name of Hydra again, which gave him an ominous premonition.

The driver explained his purpose on the radio. The base soon sent a helicopter to land in the base. On the apron, Colson had been standing there waiting for a long time.

"You should be by the prisoner." Nick Fury said with some dissatisfaction at Colson.

It is not clear what the situation is. I just left the prisoner without authorization. What if someone killed him?

"Please rest assured about this. I have hired a very strong jailman to guard him. There will definitely be no situation." Colson responded with a smile, with a confident expression on his face.

Nick Fury's heart moved, as if he understood what had come.

The two walked through the underground passage of the base and soon came to the door of an interrogation room. There, they happened to see Yan Shao who was bored and playing with his cell phone.

The hawk-eyed man who followed Nick Fury and said in his heart that he was indeed a very strong prison guard.

If he was an assassin, he would give up the assassination mission as soon as he learned that the prison guard was Yan Shao.

"You are here? Then can I leave first?" Yan Shao said helplessly by putting away his phone.

God knows that he thought the matter was over, and he took Shanna and Natasha to go back to the company, but he was suddenly stopped by Colson on the way.

In the end, he had no choice but to let Shanna and Natasha go back first, and follow Colson alone to escort the prisoner, and then he stayed outside the door of the interrogation room after he arrived at the base.

"I'm afraid it can't be..." Before Nick Fury could speak, Colson said first: "You are involved in this matter after all. Besides, don't you want to know why Hydra attacks you?"

He glanced at Colson with some dissatisfaction, and Nick Fury didn't say anything.

He knew that Colson wanted to drag Yan Shao into the water so that no matter what the situation was, they could have a strong foreign aid. In fact, he thought so in his heart, but he was still measuring the pros and cons of doing so for the time being, and had not made a decision yet.

"Okay okay..." Yan Shao shrugged helplessly. "Then I will wait outside for a while first, and tell me if there is any situation."

In fact, he was also a little curious, why would Hydra deal with him? Could it be that Hydra in SHIELD did not tell his identity?

But these words must be impossible to tell Nick Fury and Colson, otherwise even if these two men were bothering them, they would have to ask where he got the information from.

Through the glass on the interrogation room, Nick Fury observed the people inside.

This is a thin middle-aged man with panic on his face and his skin has several purple areas, all of which are on the way to come.

"We just gave him a little good look on the way, and he almost revealed everything." Colson explained. "According to him, he could do such a big business with the help of Hydra. This time Hydra suddenly took a look at the field of social media and contacted him to seize the initiative. If the market was almost snatched away by this guy, and if the problem could not be solved, they could only find a way to solve the problem."

As he said that, Colson pointed to Yan Shao who was continuing to play with his phone next to him. Yan Shao looked up at them with an innocent look on his face, and then continued to play with his phone.

"What else is there in addition to these?"

"It's gone for the time being..." Colson shook his head. "He seems to be just the outside world responsible for providing funds and does not know the specific situation."

Nick Fury was a little dissatisfied. In the end, there was almost no useful news except the three words Hydra.

Yan Shao couldn't understand why Nick Fury and Colson had such a big reaction to the three words Hydra. In his opinion, among the many super villains, Hydra is a relatively harmless one. Which of the others, such as Thanos or the Gods, causes no damage than Hydra?

But for Nick Fury and Colson, Hydra is the biggest enemy, and Colson grew up listening to the story of Captain America vs. Hydra.

After confirming that he had nothing to do, Yan Shao left the base, and he was not in the mood to continue with the two of them.

Nick Fury decided to find someone who could trust and discuss it. This person was not Colson, nor Black Widow, nor Hawkeye. After thinking about it, he finally thought of a candidate who could make Yan Shao laugh out loud, his good friend Alexander Pierce.

"So, is this the Hydra man you are talking about?" Pierce, who was also rushing to the sky, stood behind the glass window, frowned as he looked at the trembling businessman.

"To be precise, it's just a peripheral member who provides funds to Hydra."

"Are you sure you're not wrong?" Pierce pondered for a moment. "You know that Hydra has disappeared for many years..."

"It's better to believe that it has than to believe that it has..." Nick Fury said. "In addition to this guy's words, the person who committed suicide also found the symbol of Hydra."

"You should be clear that these still cannot prove that Hydra still exists. Perhaps some organizations have used Hydra's name to make a name for their reputation..." Speaking of this, Pierce saw Nick Fury saying something, waved his hand, and continued: "But I think you are right. You would rather believe it than not. This matter must be investigated. If you really find the remnants of Hydra, no matter how much the price you pay, you must be eradicated."

Nick Fury nodded.

After leaving the base, Pierce, with a heavy face, returned to SHIELD. In the office, his confidant Sitterville had been waiting for a long time. Seeing Pierce back, Sitterville said respectfully.

"Sir, Lord Strack hopes to speak with you..."
