Volume 10: Like a Dream

The "Code of the Universe" jointly formed by sixteen empires will become an institution for people to manage their own self-government, while the Bentusi people are no longer allowed to interfere in the affairs of various countries;

In the economic field, they will continue to communicate equally and peacefully with the Bentusi, but in the political field, the Bentusi only needs to manage themselves. Of course, if the Council makes a request to maintain interstellar peace, the Bentusi needs to provide armed support for them... The Bentusi finally agreed to the requirements.

Some scholars believe that this is actually the original intention of the Bentusi people, but they are just waiting for the day when various races truly grow. When this day comes, the Bentusi people naturally agree to their independent request.

It is speculated that it was around this period that the Bentusi and their hyperspace nuclear secrets gradually became known.

Among the sixteen founding countries of the Galaxy Council, there are two countries with close territories, one is Gushigra and the other is the Titan Republic.

The supreme ruling institution of the ancient Sigra Empire was called "Daihamed". The Deamaide council system, which continued from the age of rationality to the present, is a continuation of this ancient institution.

In the previous "uprising", the ancient Sigra Empire and the Titan Republic greatly expanded their territory, so after the annexation craze passed, the Sigra Empire had more than 40 inhabited star systems.

Then at the end of the chaos, the Sigra Empire and the Titan Republic finally met, and both sides made sovereignty claims on several galaxies and fought endlessly. After the annexation craze ended, these disputes and conflicts of force still did not stop, so in the end the ownership of those disputed planets was sent to the Cosmic Council for discussion and ruling.

Daemed placed all hope on the Council, thinking that they would deal with these historical issues fairly, but the final result was clearly beneficial to the Titans. What's worse, the Council ordered a huge area with a range of 30 light years, and strictly prohibited the entry of Shigra's fleet, otherwise it would be severely retaliated by the Council.

There are rumors that all this is the result of the Titan Republic's shameless means of using bribes, threats and even assassination against members of the Council.

In terms of strength, the Sigra Empire and the Titan Empire were evenly matched, and the future was completely handed over to the Cosmic Council without taking any other precautions. Faced with these unfair decisions of the Council, the Sigra Empire was in a state of full passiveness and could not raise any legal or military objections. If the situation was not changed, the Sigra people had to succumb to the orders of the Galaxy Council.

At this critical moment that determined the direction of Sigra's history, an expedition in several unknown areas of the "Great Wilderness" discovered a man-made object that can be called the greatest discovery in Sigra's history.

There is a wreckage of a spacecraft in the Great Wilderness. This wreckage has a shocking scale, and it seems that it is not the whole of the spacecraft, but only a part of it. There is a crystal grille in the center of the wreckage, which preserves the great artificial miracle - the core of the hyperspace.

The discovery of the second hyperspace core means that the Higras will have the ability to retaliate against the Titans, which means that they can recover the planets and galaxies they think should belong to, but this also means that they have laid the root of disaster for themselves in the future.

The Higra gradually uncovered the secret of the hyperspace core. Obviously, it is as powerful as the one used by the Bentusi, and can support ultra-long-range jumps. After large-scale transformation of its components, the Higra installed it on a huge warship, which was named "The Wrath of Sayuk". With the help of the huge energy of the hyperspace core, this warship can generate more powerful firepower than any other Higra warship. Coupled with its long-range jumping ability, it is enough to allow the Higra people to smash any resistance from the Titans, and give the Higra people the privilege of surpassing all other races and become an existence as "completely free" as the Bentusi!

Taking Bentusi's high-energy radiation weapons as a reference, each ship of the Shigra Navy has been remodeled, and they have been reorganized into a unified and huge fleet. The flagship is the super-nuclear warship "The Wrath of Sayuk" that has always been top secret to the outside world, but the entire Shigra world is secretly proud of it.

After learning that a fleet of the Titan Navy, relying on the protection of the Galaxy Council, was leisurely showing off its power on the border of the Sigra Empire, the Sigra people took advantage of their ability to jump from a long distance and suddenly interspered and rushed into the Titan Empire, concentrating the entire fleet's strength to eliminate every Titan garrison and patrol fleet they encountered, and then transferred lightning.

While advancing, the Higras eliminated the Titans' living forces. When the first attack report of the Titan troops was not submitted to the imperial political center, the emperor's palace, the huge interstellar fleet of the Higras was already on the orbit of the Titan Star, the capital of the Titan Empire.

Although they were clearly aware that they could not resist such an overwhelming fleet, the Titan Imperial Force still struggled to resist, supporting a long enough line of defense to wait for reinforcements to arrive. However, their admirable sacrifice did not turn the situation around. As the final obstacle between the "Wrath of Sayuk" and the Titan Palace was cleared, the Higras entered high orbit and began planetary bombing. The Higras were prepared to paralyze the Titan ruling institutions with surgical strikes to eliminate the possibility of revenge. Orbital bombs bombed the military facilities on the surface of the Titan Palace and the entire day.

After successfully removing the threat from the Titan World, the Shigra fleet began to evacuate, and it only took 67 hours from departure to triumph!

The blitzkrieg was successfully completed.

It turns out that hyperspace nuclear is more successful than ever expected. The Higra people are waiting for inevitable actions from the Council, because the Galaxy Council is "known" for its slow decision-making. De Armid once lost the opportunity in the war against the Titans because of its dependence on the Council. Therefore, according to the usual speed of the Council's operation, Higra should have time to send its fleet to the border to occupy the disputed galaxies that should belong to them, thus causing the Council to accept the fait accompli.

Surprisingly, however, the Council responded faster than anyone expected. When the Wrath of Sayuk and its fleet were still on their way back, the Council's No. 1 spy arrived: the Sigra must hand over the hyperspace nuclear to the Council and withdraw troops immediately from the disputed area, and cancel the military organization of all fleets in that huge no-fly zone of 30 light-years. Subsequent handling measures, as well as the ultimate fate of the Super Nuclear and the Sigra Navy, will be determined at the usual speed of the Council's operation.

Shigra has 24 hours to carry out spies, otherwise the consequences will be borne by one.

The Higras did not submit to the Council's ultimatum, which also caused serious consequences later, and Bentusi's warship appeared as promised.

It has to be said that the Higra people seriously underestimated the ability, experience and reaction speed of Bentusi... They thought that having everyone has a super-space core should be evenly matched. Once they fight, they will suffer losses, so Bentusi will also have some concerns, but they seriously ignored and underestimated Bentusi's development over the past thousands of years, and then quickly paid a huge price for it.

When the Higra Star Fleet was wiped out, the Galaxy Council actually gave the Higra people peace, of course this was accompanied by harsh conditions: the Higra people were never allowed to form armed forces and never start wars against others.

The threat of the Higra people was completely eliminated with the destruction of the fleet and the "loss" of the hyperspace nucleus, so further sanctions were almost unnecessary, because the Higra world had almost completely paralyzed by their own stupid actions and stubborn pride.

Although the Higra people were extremely regretful, the Bentusi also fell into deep self-blame and regret.

Over the years, among all the space races, only they - the Bentusi - have gained complete freedom and have power far surpassed other races. Over the years, they have been lonely and defeated, and now it seems that they have finally encountered a potential opponent. "They have the responsibility to deprive Higra of the power to prevent the occurrence of sin" - what a grand and great thing this sounds, but the actual situation and results are only worthy of being extremely reckless. Because the Bentusi himself made mistakes, and there have been incidents of their abuse of power in early history. If there was a race that was older than them and could also make long-range jumps when they expanded early, the Bentusi would be surrounded and suppressed like the Higra today.

So the Bentusi people paid formal tribute to the Sigra incident. After that, each Bentusi spacecraft was disarmed, and they issued a statement on the Galaxy Council:

"We revoke the military support we have given to the Council. The Bentusi will no longer initiate any wars and battles under the pretext of maintaining peace. We will silently look at the world. If allowed, we will maintain the same number of representatives in the Council as other races. Hopefully a new era of peace will flourish as our influence is eliminated!"

However, the new era of peace did not come as the Bentussi hoped.

After the clearance of the Sigra fleet in the territory, the only remaining force of the once fierce Titan Navy is the force that has been staying on the Sigra border. The commander of this fleet is named Reisdiu, and he announced that he was promoted to the supreme commander of the Titan Navy.

With the recovery of Bentusi's military force and the destruction of the Higra Navy, Reusti realized that his opportunity had come.

The Titans advanced rapidly to the invasion of the Sigra Empire, and there were only some sporadic resistance along the way, and of course they were quickly shattered. The Titans gave every inhabited planets and joined the Titan Empire. If they refused, they would be destroyed, because the Titans had developed weapons that could sweep away all life on the surface of the planet. They were ready to stop all the revenge and were eager to try the final example on those who had destroyed their empire.

The first planet that refused to join was treated unforgettably cruelly and set an example. The revenge of Titans also turned into a crime. The innocent lives of millions of people were slaughtered without warning.

Afterwards, few planets dared not to join the Titan Alliance, but many planets were still razed to the ground even after surrendering, all because General Reustius claimed that they surrendered too quickly, and therefore were likely to be unreliable allies who were accustomed to falling down the wind; and some surrendered too slowly, and therefore were likely to be loyal to Sigra.

The slaughter of the Titans created the beginning of the age of cosmic chaos, because since the opening of the External Rotary Arm trade route, so many civilians have never been killed in war. The Cosmic Council once issued a warning about this, but Reisdor turned a deaf ear because the Titans had no emperor, and the sanctions warning were useless to them...

The bloody massacre of unarmed civilians, and the news spread, aroused strong protests from all empires. Many races, including the members of the Council and many independent regimes, called on the Bentusi to intervene in the matter by force, but they refused because the Bentusi had made a solemn oath, and although they wept for the fate of Higra, they were unwilling to pick up the violence they had abandoned again.

They were only willing to mediate for Reisdue and Deamide, and find solutions that both sides recognized.

But the mediation ended in failure.

Because Reisdius's requirements are simple: all the territory of the Sigra Empire was incorporated into the Titan Empire, and Sigra became the seat of the new imperial palace of the Titan Empire - because it has more abundant resources and more suitable bases than the destroyed Titan.

As for the Sigra people, they will be executed or become slaves depending on the severity of their participation in the destruction of the Titan Empire.

The Bentusi were ashamed of the responsibility they should bear for the demise of the Sigra Empire, especially the massacre of Reisdius, so although they no longer used force, it still had a strong influence. So under the anger of the Bentusi, Reisdius finally made a compromise... The Higra people had to board a sub-light speed transport ship to the edge of the universe within a month, and then began their exile careers. Moreover, Sigra is not allowed to carry any man-made objects, nor is it allowed to carry any records that record Sigra's past history.

In such a short time, you can leave as many people as you can, and anyone who stays will be executed or become a slave.

But Reisdue quickly broke his promise, and his fleet chased the dead Sigra people all the way.
