Chapter 261 Lingshan asks Buddha
"Amitabha."
Lingshan, the place where ten thousand Buddhas gather, the place where the six roots are pure, the holy place of Buddhism in the world.
The Buddha's light shines everywhere here, and the top of the mountain is shrouded by golden auspicious clouds, shining with rays of light.
The surrounding mountains are towering and green, and the streams are clear. Deer, dragons and turtles often come and go, carps break through the waves and come out of the water, and goshawks spread their wings for nine days.
In Lingshan Mountain, there are Buddhas chanting sutras and Bodhisattvas chanting. The sound of chanting and chanting can be heard in all directions.
At the foot of Lingshan Mountain, all the beasts gathered together, with clear eyes, facing Lingshan Mountain and worshiping.
Among them, tigers and sheep live together, and wolves and rabbits accompany each other. The scenery is diverse and eye-opening.
"What a prosperous Buddhist atmosphere!"
Monk Su Yue was wearing a red monk's robe, a Buddhist crown on his head, holding a six-ring tin staff, and came towards Lingshan with praises in his mouth.
At the foot of the mountain, two leading monks stood still. When they saw Su Yue, one of them made a flower-like shape, and the other made a leaf-brush shape, and smiled at Su Yue.
"Where do monks come from?"
This is an obvious Buddhist verse.
Su Yue smiled together, just like the Buddha coming into the world with his majestic appearance.
"The monk came from the west."
The two leading monks still smiled and asked again.
"Where are the monks going?"
Su Yue: "Go to Qiantou Lingshan."
But at this time, the leading monk shook his head slightly.
"This is not Lingshan. Lingshan is behind the monk. If the monk wants to go to Lingshan, he has to go back."
Next to him, there were also monks.
After listening to the questions of Su Yue and the monk Jieyin, several old monks suddenly understood and clasped their hands together.
"Amitabha!"
They bowed to Lingshan, and actually turned around and left, with smiles of satisfaction and happiness on their faces.
After waiting for a while, seeing Su Yue still here, the smile on the monk's face gradually stiffened and he said to him.
"Monk, why don't you go quickly?"
"Foreign monks don't understand etiquette, but I do!"
Su Yue smiled and shook his head, stretched out his hand into his arms, seemed to be holding something tightly, and placed it in front of the two leading monks.
"These are some greeting gifts from the young monk, please accept them!"
Upon hearing what Su Yue said, the two leading monks immediately beamed with joy.
"After waiting for so long, someone is finally here!"
They no longer brushed flowers and leaves, with philistine but sincere smiles on their faces, and moved their wrists to complain.
"When you visit other people's homes but don't know how to bring gifts, are those people probably making themselves stupid by chanting sutras? But you, a little monk, are sensible! Come on, let Buddha see what gifts you brought, it's so mysterious
of."
"I told you in advance, if your gift is not up to standard, you won't be able to go up the mountain!"
"The young monk's gift will surely satisfy both of you!"
Su Yue smiled and clenched his fists.
"Have you ever seen a fist as big as a sandbag?"
————The banging dividing line————
After a friendly exchange with the two leading monks and physical persuasion that made them cry for their father and mother, Su Yue successfully entered the scope of Lingshan Mountain.
At this time, Tathagata Buddha in the West was sitting high on the lotus platform and was giving sermons to his disciples. Below him were the eight Bodhisattvas, the Four Vajras, the Five Hundred Arrows, the Three Thousand Enlightenments, the Eleven Dayaos, and the Eighteen Kalams, all listening attentively.
There was only one person named Jin Chanzi. He sat in front of the Tathagata, with his back to him, and his head bit by bit, as if he had some insights.
In fact, as the second disciple of Tathagata Buddha, he had heard this passage narrated by Tathagata many times, but he had different opinions in his heart.
He respected his master and did not want to refute him face to face, but he did not want to hear these wrong theories, so he closed his eyes and pretended to be dozing off.
After entering the Lingshan realm, Su Yue also heard the Tathagata's scriptures with his ears.
This scripture does not guide people to do good, nor is it a magic weapon. It is the Tathagata Buddha teaching a group of Bodhisattvas and Arhats how to regulate the souls and bodies of mortals in the form of 'scriptures', enslave their will, and treat them as
Tools like oxen and horses allow them to live in the shape Xitian wants.
What if any mortal refuses?
In addition to being compassionate, Buddhism also has the angry eyes of Vajra!
Jin Chanzi felt that the essence of Buddhism should be to guide people to do good. The emphasis is on persuading and guiding people, rather than forcing them, so that they can live in strict accordance with their predetermined destiny.
If the world really operates according to the setting of the scriptures, it will become a pool of stagnant water with no change.
However, he did not expect that his master and disciples, the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Arhats in Lingshan, all wanted no change.
As Buddhas, they should be high up in the sky, be worshiped by mortals, enjoy endless incense, and live forever!
Of course Jin Chanzi's desires cannot be hidden from the observation of Tathagata Buddha.
Under the gaze of everyone, Tathagata suddenly stopped, lowered his head, looked down, and said.
"Jin Chanzi, why don't you listen to me, feel sleepy, and look down on my great master?"
The matter of pretending to be asleep was exposed, and Jin Chanzi simply stopped hiding it.
He turned around, clasped his hands towards Tathagata, and said sincerely with his eyes.
"Buddha, my disciples have different opinions on this passage."
As soon as he said this, some Bodhisattvas and Buddhas looked at him with expressions of "Sure enough," and some Arhats frowned and sighed secretly.
Sure enough, when Jin Chanzi finished explaining his principle of "all living beings are equal", some Bodhisattvas were disdainful and some Arhats sneered.
Tathagata shook his head slightly, stretched out his golden palm, and pressed down on Jin Chanzi with a look of shock and confusion on his face.
"It seems that Jinchanzi, you don't know the true meaning of Buddhism and you have gone astray. That's fine! Let me disperse your cultivation today and send you down to earth to practice. It will last ten lives and go through ninety-nine and eighty-one years."
Difficult, go back to Lingshan! Chi'er, go!"
Jin Chanzi doesn't know how powerful Tathagata Buddha is.
But he knew that Tathagata must be stronger than him.
Facing the irresistible power, Jin Chanzi clasped his hands together, his expression neither happy nor sad, only a trace of determination.
Ten lifetimes of practice is only a thousand years. It is nothing to the gods and Buddhas who often count tens of thousands of years.
But he didn't expect that after descending to earth this time, he would be completely disappointed with Tathagata, Lingshan, and Buddhism.
Just when Tathagata's big hand was about to hit Jin Chanzi, a clear shout suddenly came from outside the Lingshan Palace.
"Great monk, wait a minute!"
when!
A six-ring tin staff flew out and turned into a golden light, protecting the golden cicada.
Tathagata's hand stopped slightly, and his eyes turned to the tin staff. He was surprised and at the same time a little angry at being provoked.
The rest of the Buddhas also turned their heads, shocked and shocked that in this spiritual mountain, there was someone as unafraid of death as Jin Chanzi, and even more arrogant than him?
Jin Chanzi was knocked down from the mortal world just for talking back, and went through ninety-nine and eighty-one hardships. You, the one who made a move, don't want eight hundred and ten hardships?
But looking at the person coming, the Buddhas were confused again.
Who is this? I have never seen such a person in Lingshan!
Buddha was also strange.
After counting with his fingers, he felt even more strange - he couldn't find this person's origin?
Even though the other party looks like a monk who wants to blow him up, this is probably the plan of some great religion!
Tathagata's expression immediately became solemn.
Under countless gazes, Su Yue came to Jin Chanzi and looked up at the Tathagata Buddha, who was eighteen feet tall. When he opened his mouth, he was shocked.
"The young monk asked the Buddha, can all living beings be equal?"
"The young monk asked Buddha, immortals, Buddhas, gods, waists, and humans whether they could coexist peacefully and create a true world of unity?"
