Chapter 301 Soul Eater
A large figure suddenly rushed out of the shattered building, emitting the smell of old blood and fear.
A terrible appearance appeared in the smoke and dust, with a wide and huge body, wearing rusty and broken thick armor. A long-horned skull emerged, and a huge mouth full of sharp teeth cracked a gap, emitting vicious gluttony.
"What is this?" This is the first time Kasha has seen the undead with the entity.
"Soul-Devourer," Kahn said, "A dead soul that will last forever eat humans is not a good thing."
As they spoke, the Soul-Devourer's arm emitted red lightning, which fell to the place and stimulated thick smoke, rolling, and a storm of hunger.
Then a group of smaller spirits appeared beside him - broken, half-digested souls, some missing arms, some with little chin, and some with a broken belly and empty head.
The blood-red light chain tied them to the side of the huge evil spirit, allowing them to be eaten and enslaved.
Kasha took two steps back and she actually felt their pain, the fear of being slowly eaten. But what's even more terrifying is that it felt their desire to get rid of the torture.
"Fresh and blood feast." The soul-eating man said, its sound like a blunt saw on the bone.
Then it stepped towards them, and his weird smile divided his cruel face into two halves.
She wanted to fight back, smashing it into unconscious pieces, but Kahn stopped her in time.
"Don't do it here, the Soul-Devourer is attracted by the movement of our battle just now."
Kasha immediately knew and ran away from the city, and the other two followed.
Seeing the prey escape, the soul-devouring man raised a strong hand, and the enslaved souls floated towards them.
The cold claws emitted a cold light and grabbed Kahn's back, but because the distance was limited by the red light chain, it grabbed a blank.
The gluttonous soul devourer is unwilling to let go of the constraints on these incomplete souls. He knows that once the iron chains are untied, these souls that have been tortured and eroded by him will escape.
It moved its huge and sturdy body, driving the little ghosts to chase the three of them, leaning forward with a solid abdomen, as if it could roll down the hill at any time.
The heavy footsteps kept echoing in the black fog behind him, accompanied by the shrill screams of the little ghost.
Kahn has been maintaining a slow pace, and he would better destroy the undead on the island.
If he throws it away directly, the Soul Devourer might use some method to track down the tavern, and he doesn't want to go out to hunt treasures on the first day and violate the taboos of the tavern.
On the hillside, they stopped, and the screaming little ghost rushed out of the black fog and appeared in front of them.
Seeing this, Kasha leaned down without hesitation and aimed the pods at them, sending them a scorching relief.
A series of missiles hit these incomplete spirits, untie them from the chains they eroded, and sent them to the black fog to forget the pain.
"My delicious meal! No!" The rich black fog was shaken away by the roar of the Soul-Devourer. Its huge figure appeared from the fog, staring at the three of them from a high point, and the cold light in his eyes showed endless hunger and strong anger.
"Take your life!"
The Soul-Devourer opened his mouth like a ravine, as if he had opened a black hole, and the strong wind swept everything in front of him into its mouth.
Black fog, dust, and soul... are not spared.
For a moment, Kahn felt his soul being pulled by a huge force, but was blocked by his skin armor and kept it safely in his body.
But the suction force of the soul-devouring soul still exists, and the strong wind is pushing them into the huge mouth like an abyss.
"I like to swallow, right?" Kahn was sure in his heart and began to release void energy in his palm to fabricate the entity.
Kasha and Sarah resisted the suction force and launched a round of firepower to cover the Soul Eater, but most of the missiles were sucked into their mouths, leaving the remaining ones hitting its thick skin and fleshy body, with little effect.
After the fabrication was completed, a Void Spirit appeared under Kahn's men. He threw one of them towards the Soul-Devouring Man. The Void Spirit twisted his blade's feet wildly and was swallowed by the Soul-Devouring Man.
It seemed that he had tasted a completely different taste from flesh and blood. The Soul-Devourer stopped the whale sucking, showed a puzzled expression, and reached out to try to buckle it out to see what he had swallowed.
But before it could touch its mouth, the strong purple light replaced the blue cold light in its mouth, and then it distorted the terrible hungry beast's body and exploded instantly.
There was no flesh and blood, like a ball of dust exploding. Its huge body decomposed into countless shining powders, forming a vortex of clouds and mist, resisting the absorption of black mist.
"Is it not to be resurrected?" Sarah's face looked ugly under her helmet.
Kahn couldn't say it, just stared at the clouds.
The blue clouds hovered in the air for several times, and then were pulled into strips by an inexplicable force, quickly retreating to the hillside. A howling of resentment teared the air and sent it to the distance by a whirlwind, and finally returned to the dead silence as if it was covered.
Kasha seemed to realize something, and quickly chased in the direction of the clouds and mist retreating, leaving the two far away.
"What are she going to do?" Sarah looked at the direction of Kasha's departure in confusion. Isn't that the end of their exploration today?
"I don't know, follow me." For the first time in Yousheng, Kahn didn't know what Kahsha wanted to do, so he hurriedly chased after him, hoping that Kahsha would not run into the city where evil spirits were rampant.
On the edge of the cliff, they found Kasha, who was walking down from the mountain with a glowing object.
Because she couldn't run fast in the thing in her hand, she explained to him when Kahn approached.
"I followed the blue mist and found this from the ruins that the Soul Eater knocked down."
Kasha handed the thing to Kahn, a two-palm crystal hourglass with exquisite brass brackets nested outside, and the irritable clouds radiate blue light and rotated inside, moving back and forth constantly, drilling from top to bottom.
"It's sealed inside," Kahn said. "Thanks to you, otherwise we wouldn't know there is this thing."
Kahn gently put down the hourglass and heard Kassa say, "But this is not a good thing, how should I deal with it?"
"Put it in the secret library." Kahn chuckled, "Didn't you still want to see what the secret library looks like last night? Isn't the opportunity here?"
"What's the secret library?" Sarah coughed.
"Let's not talk about it, you'll know then." Kasha joked mischievously, and then helped Kahn pick up the lantern, allowing him to hold the crystal hourglass more steadily. This thing looks very fragile.
