Although the ultimate goal of practice is the realm of immortals and Buddhas, if you are addicted to worldly entanglement, the realm will never be able to improve. But even if someone practices for a lifetime, he may never be able to stand at the peak of the realm, but there are only some small supernatural powers. Then these people think - since that's the case, it's better to go to the world for a happy life. Some people think more directly, I don't want to become an immortal or a Buddha, as long as my supernatural powers are happy.

The above are the reasons why some people want to modify the precepts to practice. But Yuwen Shu looked at these problems from the other hand.

If you modify the precepts, such as using supernatural powers to obtain something that can be taken, how can you define this desirable thing? The supernatural powers of the object can be used to carry two more mash bags to be a loader and unloader. In fact, no one will care about someone who violates the precepts like this. But practitioners definitely do not go out to do this. If you are not careful, there may be many payments, because once many things are done, they will be involuntarily. In ancient times, some people even wanted to take over the world, which brought chaos, but it is hard to say whether this game is acceptable or not.

Also, there are only three results to show ordinary people: one is worshipped as gods, the other is expelled as heresy, and the third is to establish sects to recruit disciples. None of these three is appropriate. Let’s just say that recruit disciples, most people do not have this aptitude and may even delay their lives. All the results are not what these people want, and all these people want is their own fame and fortune. There is nothing wrong with gaining fame and fortune in the world, but if it endangers the existence of the entire world of practice and the order of the secular world, it is a big hidden danger. Yuwen Shu believes that the sorcerers who are currently swaying in the world will not be proud for too long, and will be abandoned by the secular world at most ten years. If they want to replace them, they will not only be abandoned by the secular world, but will even shake the foundation of the practitioner's foothold in the world.

What Yuwen Shu discussed with me was that I hope that at the Zhengyi Sanshan meeting, I could support him, oppose that person's proposal to amend the precepts, and stand up and seriously refute him.

The true master of Zhengyi is a mountain model for practitioners in the world. The true master of Zhengyi will naturally not violate the three precepts, but the true master of Guanyi may not be able to truly convince the public. Because he is just an alien. Ordinary practitioners agree with the realm of maintaining the right state, but may not necessarily recognize the realm of maintaining the right state to demand themselves. And the matter of chasing Fu Jie will spread throughout the world soon, and my reputation will also rise, and this matter itself has a certain deterrent effect. Thinking of this, I said to Yuwen Shu: "Senior brother, don't worry that the three major precepts will be modified. There will be causes and consequences when establishing the precepts. Nowadays, all the precepts are accepted by these people. Then there is no reason to overturn them even if they want to change them. The elders of each school will not agree with them." What I mean very clearly is that the three major precepts are the precepts for all practitioners, which are the conditions you agree to when you start practicing the Dharma. Only by agreeing to this condition can you be qualified to practice the Dharma, and there is no reason to go back on your word after learning the Dharma. Either you don't want to practice, and you have to keep the precepts if you want to practice.

Yuwen Shu also understood, and he shook his head gently: "Xiao Zhenren is right. Actually, what I am worried about is not that the three formal precepts will shake, and each sect will not directly support this proposal. But you have a little misunderstanding. The three precepts that the practitioners of the world are abide by are different from the rules of the sects and sects... For example, if Qiye, if he is a disciple of Zhongnan, the Zhongnan sect has this rule, and he will also pass on this rule even if he passes on his disciples. But now he has rebelled from Zhongnan to establish another Hainan sect. If he does not establish such a rule, there is no way for others to do so. Then the Hainan sect disciples should first deal with it themselves. If they do not handle it or cannot handle it, the practitioners of the world can take action. This is the real key to the rules of practice... In fact, the use of the rules is not in the three major disasters themselves, but in the other three words - to kill them together!"

Feng Junzi didn't talk about this issue carefully when I was in the beginning of taking the precepts. Today, I finally understood it after Yuwen Shu's explanation. Practitioners violate the three precepts, and generally each sect handles them themselves. In fact, occasionally someone breaks the precepts as long as the matter is not very big, other sects are not convenient to interfere or turn a blind eye. However, if someone breaks the precepts and causes evil, and this sect can't handle them or fails to deal with them, the practitioners in the world have the obligation to "kill them together."
