Back to 090: Outside the Square Cun Rong Chen, Qingyi Near Penglai (Part 1)
Chapter 090: A square inch of dust is outside, Qingyi is close to Penglai (Part 1)
Feng Junzi's 16th birthday party was calm, and Zhang Zhi and Qi Xin looked peaceful. But after observing their words and deeds during the meal, I felt that if these two women wanted to be with Feng Junzi, Qi Xin could tolerate Zhang Zhi, but Zhang Zhi might not tolerate Qi Xin. In fact, it doesn't matter how they look at each other, but mainly depends on what Feng Junzi thinks. If Feng Junzi is really a frivolous prodigal son, in this special situation, Qi Xin and Zhang Zhi have long been his women. But this kid is not!
Feng Junzi sometimes doesn't speak very seriously and his behavior doesn't seem to be steady enough, but he is still a person who values love. I already know that he and Luxue, the elves of Zhaoting Mountain, have fun in the clouds and rain. He doesn't want to just forget it, but really wants to be with her. He named the tea room "Luxue Tea Room", probably not for Liu Yiyi, but for Luxue. Unfortunately, Luxue rejected him and was unwilling to be with him in the world. The reason is very strange - the love between grass and trees is different from that of people.
I am not a vegetation, and I don’t know what Luxue thought. But these two people are strange enough! Luxue claims to have been rooted in Zhaoting Mountain for 1,600 years of spring and autumn. I am afraid that I have seen all the vicissitudes of the world. The life of the world is only a short moment in her eyes; and Feng Junzi is just a 16-year-old boy. It is completely normal for him to be together with her once he has love and desire to be together. But if he looks at it from another perspective, Feng Junzi does not have to bear any responsibility, otherwise others may not be able to ask for it! But Feng Junzi actually cried secretly. Later, the boy said that he had figured it out, so could he figure it out like this?
However, what touched me the most about this meal was Feng Junzi, but myself. Feng Junzi wrote poems with a cup of wine and everyone said that it was wonderful. Zhang Zhi looked at him and couldn't like him anymore. Even Sister Ziying admired him very much. In comparison, I am far less talented than him who is well-versed in ancient and modern times. If it were not for the practice of Buddhism and Taoism that I have come into contact with over a year, I would be just an ordinary middle school student who is no longer ordinary.
I thought of Teacher Liu Fei'er again. She said she was willing to accept my feelings in her dreams, but she could not... In reality, Is there any other reason besides the embarrassment of our identity and age? Teacher Liu attended the last international seminar. She had elegant conversations and exquisite insights and good family backgrounds. In addition, she was born with beautiful eyes, her every move and smile were so pleasant. So many leaders and experts looked at her and their eyes were straight, and I was just an inconspicuous silly boy standing in the corner. She came from a famous family and was so beautiful that she was naturally revealed. I remember that when I saw her, I was shocked and the seeds of longing had long been planted.
In reality, I am not compatible with her at all. At least I am not worthy of her now! This is exactly what I feel. It seems that I should learn more, think more, and experience more to truly change myself. I can no longer stick to a few textbooks to be a half-waste student. Although I have the achievements of Śrāvakas with supernatural powers, I can understand it, but no one has opened a hundred forums for me, so I have to rely on myself to gain insights. Is it interesting? I don’t want to be an honest and regular student, but I have become a better person to learn.

Wucheng Library has a collection of 500,000 books, which is not very large in scale, but it is more than twice as large as the library of our school. More importantly, a lot of historical documents about Wucheng can be found here. You can apply for a loan certificate with a deposit of 20 yuan. There are always few people in the reading room and the environment is very quiet. I am looking up a thick book "Wucheng Prefecture Chronicles".
Feng Junzi mentioned this "Wuchengzhou Prefecture Chronicle" several times, but I never remembered to read it myself. When I said I wanted to borrow this document, the librarian, who was wearing eyes and in his thirties, told me that it was not possible because it was a historical archive in the collection. Later, I chatted with him a few more words, and it turned out that he also graduated from Wucheng Middle School. We talked about the teachers in the school again, and Old Man Tang also taught him. I took the opportunity to say that Teacher Tang had introduced various historical stories about Wucheng in class many times, and he nodded repeatedly. Later, to my surprise, he took the initiative to agree to lend me the "Wuchengzhou Prefecture Chronicle" to me for review, but he was not allowed to take it out.
I found out that I had found a lot of things that I wanted to know but didn’t know before. First of all, it was about Qingyi River. I saw Xie Yuanyang, the prefect of Wucheng, a thousand and seven hundred years ago, saying that “the Qingyi waterway cannot occupy military farms, will cause floods, and it will cause small profits but will cause great harm”. Feng Junzi also mentioned this summer when he was "locking the white dragon" in Liqiaowei. This ancient saying is followed by the people of Wucheng for more than a thousand years, and it was not until thirty years ago that Liqiaowei and Tianmenwei appeared.
Another special record of Qingyi River is the flood every sixty years. Every summer in the lunar year of Xinwei, the cycle of reincarnation in the Qingyi River will have a flood, starting from the rising tide of Qingyi Lake in the upper reaches. This has been like this for hundreds of years. People somehow suspected to be a miracle of the will of heaven. What interested me is that this time coincides with the time of the meeting of each world sect. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the two. The previous year of Xinwei in the lunar year was 1931, and the next year of Xinwei in the lunar year was 1991, which is next year. There has been a major flood this year because of the white dragon’s rebellion. Will there be another flood next year?
There is another folk legend about Qingyi Lake that caught my attention. It is said that in the Tang Dynasty, the Jiulian Mountains in Wucheng did have nine winding main peaks, so it was named Jiulian Mountain. The current Jiulian Mountains are only Zhaoting, Feijin, Baimang, Liuling, Miaomen, and Qiyun, and six main peaks, forming six intermittent mountainous areas, winding for 120 miles and ending in Qingyi Lake. Could it be that three mountains suddenly disappeared thousands of years ago? If you follow the direction of the mountain, the three disappearing main peaks should be in Qingyi Lake. But now there are no mountains or islands in Qingyi Lake. Are the three mountains gone or have some special changes? So people today cannot find it.
I heard that the foundation of Zhengyimen is in Wucheng, and I also knew that Qiyun Temple is one of the temples of Zhengyimen. But I have been to Qiyun Temple. At that time, the master of Guan He Chen "returning to the mountain" was not in Guan, and Xiang Hexi and Shouzheng were not in Qiyun Temple for practice. In this way, Qiyun Temple is not the fundamental temple of Zhengyimen. So which mountain did He Chen and He Xi call "returning to the mountain"? Could it be the three disappeared mountains? If so, I discovered a secret in the world of practice independently for the first time.
...
During this time, I often went to the library to check literature and became more and more familiar with the administrator alumnus, and I was able to borrow a lot of historical documents, most of which were isolated and rare books. One day, I accidentally met Teacher Liu in the library. She was here to borrow a book, and she borrowed a book by Freud. It turned out that she was also studying dreams.
Mr. Zhang once told me that those who practice Taoism cannot use the so-called psychological phenomena to understand the realm experienced in practice. Feng Junzi also said it. For example, the three realms of empathy, empathy, and opening up in "her mind" can only be realized after realization, rather than using a theory that anyone can read and understand, observing it, and then claiming that you know and understand. The so-called practice Taoism does not require you to know that there is such a realm, but to pursue the ability to enter and exit freely and experience this realm.
Mr. Zhang is very knowledgeable, and his knowledge is not limited to traditional religion and Chinese studies, but also understands disciplines from ancient and modern times, both at home and abroad. He also told me that the original intention and ultimate goal of Western psychology research are likely to be the same as the "Tao" pursued by practitioners. For example, Freud divided consciousness into three levels: unconscious, preconscious, and manifest consciousness (Note: different translations in China). On this basis, he decomposed personality into three levels: the original id (Note: transliterated as "Id"), self, and superego. This is very close to the "Eight Consciousness Theory" of the Buddhist Yogacara school, but the realm is not that deep. Perhaps Freud himself only experienced that point, but what is valuable is that he used secular language in Western culture to describe a complete system, which is not something that ordinary people can do.
In modern West, Freud was not only the originator of modern psychology, but also the master of philosophy. Because his theory was also looking for and deconstructing the origin of consciousness and existence. Unfortunately, Freud was not Buddha or Lao Tzu. He did not find the ultimate state of openness, but only attributed everything to the abstract "Ripido" (sexual instinct). He was also right. The existence phenomena of all species in nature originated from this, but he only raised questions but concealed and ignored the real answer. This is like Newton, who could only use the "first driving force" to construct the existence of God and the birth of the universe.
I don’t know much about Western psychology. The above words are said by Mr. Zhang, and I don’t know whether it is right or wrong. Once I chatted with him at the Phoenix Bridge. Why did the alchemy practice start from the realm of "Yiyang Sheng"? After chatting, I talked so much. Finally, I asked him what the "origin" and "answer" that everyone is looking for? Mr. Zhang smiled and told me that he didn’t know either! But he said that if one day I cultivated the great way, I would understand it myself. Today, when I saw Teacher Liu holding the book "Analysis of Dreams" in my hand, I remembered what Mr. Zhang said and suddenly realized it. Don’t misunderstand, I did not become an immortal or a Buddha, but I realized the supernatural power of "supporting the dreams" in the "Dream Transformation Method". (Note: How to "supporting the sacrifice" in Shiye will introduce it in detail later.)
Teacher Liu was surprised to see me, and didn't seem to expect that I would also go to Wucheng Library to check the information. She tried to nod and greet me with a "normal" smile, but her face couldn't stop blushing. I knew why she was like this, because I kissed her for the first time in my dream last night!
In that dream, I pulled her and flew to the Qingyi River where I grew up. In a forest, I told her that when I was a child, I was chased by a group of hornets. She covered her mouth and smiled like a flower. At this time, a wasp suddenly flew out of the bushes, which scared her and fell into my arms. I reached out to catch her, breathing was close to my eyes, and my head felt hot, and I kissed her without even thinking about it... She closed her eyes slightly, her body was soft and as if she was unable to stand firm, and her expression was as blurred as if she was drunk. Her lips were wet and suctioned, and her tongue was sweet and full of tenderness. Fortunately, this was in a dream, otherwise she would have suffocated with such a deep and passionate kiss!
Later, she punched my chest with her fist and said that my kiss was too passionate, which made her feel confused and panicked. I couldn't tell her that I had done this many times in the realm of delusion. I asked her what it was like to kiss? She blushed and said that she didn't know, it should be like that, right? This is her first kiss! Although she is twenty-four years old, she has never been so close to the opposite sex. Although she has had a boyfriend before, she is just holding hands at most.
