Chapter 077, why is the heart of the golden beads heavy? I give them to each other and return them to love

After Mei Zhenyi's reassurance, Mei Yi returned to peace and no longer sighed. As for his thoughts, it was his own business. The next day, Mei Yi went to Shuzhou Prefecture, showed off the fish sign to indicate his identity, and transferred the best carriage from the government, but did not ask for a guard to rush the car to Wuzhou in person.

Shuzhou is close to Wuzhou. Although Mei Yi cannot use magical powers, his cultivation is still there. He is much stronger than ordinary handlebars. Two horses pulling light cars on the official roads at a very fast speed. From a distance, it looks like a wisp of smoke and dust. After the smoke and dust, Qingfeng and Mingyue followed slowly, and there was no dust under his feet.

Mei Zhenyi was sitting in the carriage thinking about his thoughts. Mei Yi’s experience touched him a lot. He suddenly remembered a saying, “Mo Langyan in front of the gods”. It seems that this is true, maybe it is a disaster or a blessing! Those who worship Buddha and seek immortals do not know whether they understand one thing, that is, if the immortals and Buddhas are not here, it is useless to seek. If the immortals and Buddhas really come, the result is not something that ordinary people can predict.

Confucius said: "Respect ghosts and gods and stay away from them." - I am not sure if I bully you!

Mei Zhenyi was recalling the origins of the two fairy children mentioned by Fairy Yan, and what Qingfeng and Mingyue said in the past few days, and one familiar or vague name was linked to: Qingfeng, Mingyue, Zhenyuan Daxian, Xinyuan Wukong. A flash of inspiration flashed in his mind, and suddenly he thought of who this pair of fairy children was!

The most famous breeze in history, the bright moon is not the breeze and bright moon in the drunken mountains, but the breeze and bright moon in Wuzhuangguan!

There is a chapter in "Journey to the West" called "The great immortal of Wanshou Mountain leaves his old friend, and the traveler of Wuzhuang Temple steals ginseng". It tells the story of Xuanzang passing by Wuzhuang Temple after seeking scriptures. The owner Zhenyuan Daxian was not there, leaving only a pair of boys at home. The boy used ginseng fruit to entertain Xuanzang, but Xuanzang did not dare to eat it, so the pair of boys ate it himself. Xuanzang's disciples were greedy and went to steal ginseng fruit, which led to a series of stories.

This story is a happy ending in "Journey to the West". Sun Wukong defeated the ginseng fruit tree, but in the end he still asked for Pure Dew from Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva to save the ginseng fruit tree. Zhenyuan Daxian and Sun Wukong became brothers. As for Qingfeng, Mingyue is just two small supporting characters in the story, and they were not mentioned later.

After traveling to the Tang Dynasty, he met various myths and legends. He even worshipped Zhongli of Han, which was very different from what he saw in later literary works. Since he mistakenly thought that Zhongli Quan was testing himself and offended several masters of the Miaofa Sect, Mei Zhenyi did not deliberately follow the myths and legends, and did things honestly.

But today he saw Qingfeng and Mingyue, and he still remembered this historical allusion. Aren’t they the legendary pair of Wuzhuang Temple? How did they become the boys in Wenzuishan’s medicine garden? How could they have a conflict with the descendants of Zhenyuan Daxian? It seems that the truth is tortuous.

Xuanzang traveled west and went to Nalanda Temple in Tianzhu to seek Dharma. There was something happened in history. What Mei Zhenyi knows and hears about traveling to the Tang Dynasty is not much different from the historical records. That was the first year of Zhenguan, and now Master Xuanzang has passed away in Chang'an. What happened to this fairy boy? On Xuanzang's journey to the west, he must have encountered Qingfeng, Mingyue and Zhenyuan Daxian.

There is only one thing that can be confirmed. Qingfeng and Mingyue are the two fairy children in "Journey to the West". Now they come to the world with all the spiritual medicines in the Wanshou Sect's medicine field and are taken in by themselves. Where are the spiritual medicines hidden? Do they still have ginseng fruits on their bodies? If so, can they make one or two of them to taste?

Thinking of this, he smiled bitterly and shook his head, giving up this absurd idea. Mei Zhenyi had already understood that the blessings of the immortals are not randomly requested, and practiced according to the law of cause and effect. With his current ability, he could not interfere in such a thing, so he might as well not mention it. He would just talk about everything in the future. He just kept his promise and gave them a mountain as a place of practice.

When I arrived at the boundary of Wuzhou, I did not enter the city, but went straight to Qiyunguan along the Qingyi River in the suburbs. In the afternoon, I passed Miaomen Mountain. When I arrived at Qingyi Lake, I saw the path up the mountain from Qiyun Peak from afar. The speed of the carriage slowed down. Mei Yi turned around in front and said, "Young Master, there are many people at the foot of the mountain, and they should be waiting for you."

Mei Zhenyi ordered to stop the car, jumped out of the car and greet Qingfeng behind him, Mingyue bowed and said, "Two fairies, come all the way. The six mountains along the river and the three mountains in the lake in front are Jiulian Mountains in Wuzhou. They are all owned by my Mei family. You can go and take a look at it everywhere now. I have something to deal with at my house. See you in three days."

Qingfeng nodded: "Okay, we will meet here in three days." Then, without saying much, he walked on the waves with the bright moon and Lingbo, looking at the direction of Qingyi Sanshan.

When the group of people at the foot of the mountain saw that the carriage had stopped, they rushed over quickly. Mei Zhenyi quickly met him. Before he could get close, two petite figures ran out of the crowd, shouting "Young Master" in a crying voice, and pounced on his arms, one left and one right. Mei Zhenyi stretched out her hands to hug her. It was Gu'er and Sui'er two little maids.

The two maids had a very neat dress. They obviously had their makeup done and waited for it. They hadn't seen each other for more than a month. The beautiful girl became much haggard, with pale faces and a pair of almond eyes red and swollen. They obviously cried many times. At this moment, they were thrown into the young master's arms, wanting to speak but unable to speak, and they were crying again. The past month scared them and became anxious. When they saw the young master returning safely, they were filled with joy and cried.

Looking at the opposite side, Zhang Guo, Master Xingyun, Senior Brother Qu Zhensheng, Uncle Liu Zhi, and the six brothers of Mei all came forward to express their condolences. Not only were there people and ghosts, but ordinary people came to greet him without realizing the storm, and they also came to greet him for his return without any harm. Mei Zhenyi held the two maids and couldn't repay the favor. She could only nod and thanked her. Zhang Guo and others' eyes were a little wet and smiled with relief - no matter what, it would be fine if they came !

Mei Yi asked Zhang Guo from the side: "How do you know that the young master and I will come today?"

Zhang Guo: "Cheng Xuanhu sent someone to ride a fast horse from Haozhou to report the message, saying that the young master was about to go home soon. I can guess that the young master must go to Qiyun Temple first. We have been waiting at the foot of the mountain these two days."

Holding a pair of beautiful maids and looking at the kind faces in front of Mei Zhenyi, a warm current that could not be described in her heart, and her nose was a little sore and she wanted to cry. The regret that Wan Majun had brought by his father's arrow in front of him was gradually dispersed.

He lowered his head and said to the two maids softly: "Aren't I doing fine? Why are you crying? Stop crying, your eyes will not look good if you cry!"

Gu'er, Sui'er stopped sobbing and burst into tears. He reacted that he was rude in front of everyone, and quickly bowed to apologize, and was pulled up by Mei Zhenyi. Then he stepped forward and bowed to everyone to thank him: "Teng'er suddenly suffered a change, which made you worry about me!" Everyone reached out to support him, all saying that the young master was killed and Chengxiang, which was worth celebrating.

The group surrounded Mei Zhenyi and Mei Yi, like two generals who had won the victory from the battlefield, chatting and laughing all the way to Qiyun Temple. The banquet was held in the temple that night. It was both dust and shocking. Before the banquet, Mei Zhenyi remembered something and invited her uncle Liu Zhi to the study alone.

Liu Zhi heard that after something happened to his nephew, he was so anxious that he couldn't eat or sleep. His sister Liu Qiaoniang left early, leaving only a little blood, so why didn't people worry? He heard that Mei Zhenyi returned safely. Liu Zhi rushed from Ningguo County to Qiyunguan to wait, and had to see him home with his own eyes to relieve his peace of mind.

As the saying goes, seeing my uncle is like a mother, especially when my mother is not here, that is the closest person in my mother's family. When I first traveled through time, I didn't feel much about this inexplicable cheap uncle, but when I met at this time, Mei Zhenyi could truly feel the warmth of the relatives. There is no need to describe the comfort between my nephew and uncle. Finally, Mei Zhenyi begged her uncle for something.

After hearing this, Liu Zhi's eyes lit up and he patted his shoulder and said, "I can't help but feel this kind of heart. How could I not agree? That's it! You kid is really like your dead mother. You are meticulous and always considerate."

Before the banquet was put on, Liu Zhi announced something in front of everyone, saying that he would recognize Gu'er and Sui'er as his daughter, not the adopted daughter of the nominal name, but the adopted daughter in the place of household registration. This means that the identity of the maids will be different in the future, and their names will also become Liu Gu'er and Liu Sui'er. They are no longer ordinary servants, but Mei Zhenyi's "cousin".

As soon as Liu Zhi said that everyone guessed that Mei Zhenyi had just pulled her uncle to discuss what was going on, and also understood his intention - to marry these two maids in the future. Note that it is to "marry" rather than "accept", and there is a big difference.

The marriage system in the Tang Dynasty was legal monogamy, and an adult man could only have one wife. Of course, rich people could take concubines and raise a bunch of singers in the mansion. In modern people's eyes, they were all small wives. But the legal status at that time was completely different.

A concubine has no legally recognized status, is not protected, and has no right to inherit and dispose of property. Even the concubine itself is a kind of private property that can be bought, sold or transferred at will. It is obvious from the text that marrying a wife is called "marriage". You have to ask the matchmaker to hire him to perform the legal procedures, and "acceptance" means storage, just like buying something, without a matchmaker or a letter of employment.

The laws of the Tang Dynasty also stipulated that the lack of intermarriage between the nobles and the common people refers to formal couples and has nothing to do with taking concubines, which also means that the concubines are placed outside the legal status. There are also regulations that the concubines should not be regarded as wives, which means that the wife will be difficult to support the concubines if they die.

That day at the foot of Zhongnan Mountain, when Mei Zhenyi pulled the plate and took out the golden beads, she felt very touched. After experiencing this life and death hardship, he thought that he should repay all those who treated him well, including Gu'er and Sui'er, who took care of him meticulously. He had long planned to keep this pair of beautiful girls by his side. Then he thought that it would be too aggrieved if he was taken as a concubine.

What should I do? Since there is no intermarriage between nobles and low-ranking people, the first thing is to give them an identity, which is why he begged his uncle Liu Zhi. But the law also stipulates that monogamy cannot be married as a proper wife? In the marriage system of the Tang Dynasty, there is another special rule that descendants don’t know much about it, that is, the “woman” system.

In ancient times, the meaning of marriage is to marry. For example, the daughter of Emperor Yao, Ehuang and Nuying, the sisters of Emperor Shun, were married to Emperor Shun, and they were all married. In the Tang Dynasty, there was a "mother wife" system. Mother was not the only legal wife, but her status was much higher than that of a concubine. The most important thing was that she was recognized by law and had a formal husband-wife relationship with her husband. When marrying, she also needed to issue a formal letter of appointment and was recognized by society and the entire family.

Only nobles have the qualifications to marry mothers, and there are clear legal hierarchy and quantity restrictions. For example, the Tang Dynasty ruled: "Fifth rank, one wife and three mothers". It means that a fifth rank official can marry up to three mothers.

Gu'er and Sui'er have broken away from their status as servants. Mei Zhenyi can marry a formal wife in the future, both of whom are formal wives. In different eras, there are different ways to repay different people. This should be what Gu'er Sui'er wants the most. It is also something they would never dream of. Who would have thought so much about the two maids? If she really likes to take them as concubines in the future, Mei Zhenyi actually managed to give them recognized legal status and social status!

How did Mei Zhenyi come up with these methods? Of course, I asked Cheng Xuanhu when I was in Haozhou. When talking about this topic at the dinner table, Cheng Xuanhu was also surprised. Mr. Mei survived the disaster. Why did the first thing he thought of was romantic affairs at a young age? He didn't fully understand Mei Zhenyi's mood at that time.

For Gu Er Suier, of course, he was happy from the sky and suddenly hit by huge happiness. He almost fainted as if he fell into a fog. These two maids were smart and clever. How could they not guess Mei Zhenyi’s intention? They were both ashamed and happy. They were so happy that they were so happy that they were so happy that they were not too happy in front of others. In short, the thoughts of their daughter’s family were hard to describe.

Mr. Xing Yun also attended the banquet at the heaven and earth, so the table was full of vegetarian food. It was very exquisite and delicious. Mei Zhenyi specially invited Zhang Guo to the table. As a result, the old fairy had been waiting for the dishes to be served before she took the seat. She said she was staring at the kitchen. The servant who served the dishes inadvertently said that she had missed the mouth. It turned out that this table of exquisite vegetarian food was made by Zhang Guo himself.

Mei Zhenyi asked, "Old Zhang. Why didn't I know you had such good skills before? It seems that no one in my family is vegetarian, right?"

Zhang Guo hurriedly explained: "What kind of craftsmanship is this? I just learned a few dishes occasionally. Today, the master is here. I went to the kitchen to keep an eye on it for a while."

As a result, the talkative servant said again: "Butler Zhang has been practicing cooking skills this year. Every time Master Xingyun eats in Qiyunguan, the butler makes it by himself."

Zhang Guo coughed and scolded her for being too verbally, and quickly let the servants go out. Master Xingyun said, "Thank you very much for your hard work. I have come to Qiyunguan so many times, but I don't know that every vegetarian meal was done by the butler himself. Pooh is really uneasy!"

Zhang Guo's old face turned slightly red. He quickly stood up and replied to thank him: "The Master is a noble person. I am afraid that the vegetarian food made by the people will not be authentic, and inadvertently blasphemed the Master's elegance, so I did it with my own hands, as it should, as it should."

Mei Zhenyi looked around and wanted to laugh but didn't dare to laugh. Zhang Guo had known about Master Xingyun's thoughts for a long time. Now, Master Xingyun is not disgusted with Zhang Guodi's kindness. - Alas. Unfortunately, Master Xu is a nun. Some things are hard to say, otherwise I really want to match them together!

After the banquet ended, Master Xingyun said goodbye and wanted to go to Cuiting Temple. Mei Zhenyi specifically ordered Zhang Guo to send him off, and ordered him to send Master to the temple gate before he could come .

Gu'er and Sui'er have different identities, but Mei Zhenyi did not change her personal maid, and her daily life was still taken care of by two "cousin". The other servants in the family also understood what was going on, so they all changed their words to Gu'er and Sui'er as a lady. Maybe they will call Mrs. Gu'er and Mrs. Sui'er in a few years.

It felt so good to go home, even if it was a bed and a chair, it was so familiar and intimate. That night, Gu'er put the lamp on the bed, and the two girls had red faces. They looked down and didn't dare to look at the young master. After making the bed, they stood there and stopped talking. Mei Zhenyi pulled her hand in front of her and said, "Do you don't know what to call me? Just call me whatever you want."

Gu'er burst out laughing: "Then we still call the young master like before. We are used to it, and we can't change it."

Mei Zhenyi: "If you like to call me like this, just call me like this, and change your words in the future."

Sui'er lowered her head and said weakly: "Young Master, do you have any instructions?"

Instructions? I'm almost going to bed. I'm holding my little hand and smiling, "I'm fine. Go and rest. I haven't had a good sleep for so many days, right? People look thinner!"

Mei Zhenyi is fourteen years old this year, and her physical development is quite good. She should understand the matters between men and women. In fact, he had already understood it before traveling through time. Looking at a pair of beautiful girls under the lamp, she felt a little itchy. Unfortunately, it was not the time. Sun Simiao had taught him to "want to be early". Of course, men were too early to be fourteen years old, and Zhongli Quan was even more straightforward and directly set a verdict for him - the verbal precept.

Although she couldn't eat, she looked comfortable. She coaxed the two girls for a while and told them to rest. When Mei Zhenyi was midnight, she still came to Qiyuntai to sit and practice. She had been traveling thousands of miles in the past month, but she had not lost her internal and external skills for a day, and the same was true on the first day of her return home.

The next day, Mei Yi went to Wuzhou Prefecture. One was to thank him, the other was to cancel the case. When the lost people were reported to the government, they had to go and go through the procedures when they came . Many officials in Wuzhou heard that the eldest son of the Southern Lu Gong had returned safely, and wanted to come to congratulate him. Mei Yi said that the young master was frightened and closed the door to recuperate, and he could convey his greetings.

There is no need to describe the trivial matters at home. Three days have passed in a blink of an eye, and it is time to meet Qingfeng and Mingyue.

On that afternoon, Mei Zhenyi brought Zhang Guo, Mei Yi, and Ti Liuzhuo to join in the fun. The two of them came to Qingyi Lake, one spirit and one ghost. Zhang Guo and Ti Liuzhuo were both curious, not knowing who the pair of fairy children were, and Mei Zhenyi had already warned them in advance that they could just stay aside. Don’t talk nonsense if you have nothing to do.

As soon as the four of them stood by Qingyi Lake, they saw a boy in feather-clothed clothes holding a innocent and cute little girl, floating on the lake waves. They didn't even polite to walk on the shore. Qingfeng nodded and said, "You are indeed trustworthy, for exactly three days."

Mei Zhenyi didn't talk nonsense. She took something from Zhang Guo's hand and walked to Qingfeng to unfold: "This is the picture album of Jiulian Mountain, and the land deed is here. Which mountain did the two fairy boys choose?"

Qingfeng looked at him instead of looking at the picture and asked: "If I had a crush on the mountain in front of me, would you move the Taoist temple away?"

Mei Zhenyi was stunned. This was an unexpected question. She replied with a smile: "Qiyun Peak is very big, and the valley behind the mountain is very deep. Qiyun Temple is not above the main peak, but on the mountainside by the lake. If the fairy boy practices in the mountains, there should be no trouble."

Qingfeng: "I mean if I asked you to move, would you move?"

Mei Zhenyi said helplessly: "If you have to move me, I can discuss with the owner and build another Qiyun Temple by the lake at the foot of the mountain, but it is best not to do so. It was once my teacher Sun Simiao's place to save the world. If you can keep it, I will be grateful."

Mingyue kept staring at Ti around curiously, as if she was very interested. She interrupted and said, "Don't worry, I don't like this mountain."

It turned out that they didn't like this mountain. When did Fairy Child Qingfeng learn to tease you? Mei Zhenyi breathed a sigh of relief, pointed to the picture album and asked again: "So Fairy Child is kidding me. Which mountain did you choose?"

Qingfeng: "It's not a joke, but I didn't choose this mountain. Even if I choose it, you don't have to worry. Taoist temples are where your master hangs the pot and will not force you to move away. I'm not an unreasonable person... What kind of land is this land deed for?"

Mei Zhenyi explained: "This is a certificate of wealth and property in the world, proving who owns this mountain."

Qingfeng: "I don't need this, I just borrowed a temple to practice. The mountain is still yours... I want this mountain."

Mei Zhenyi probably knew which mountain they would pick. It was probably clear to me that the dragon tail in Qingyi Lake was rolled up to the main peak. If Mei Zhenyi wanted to see it, it was also the most suitable place for practice in Jiulian Mountain. However, Qingfeng's hand pointed in another direction and stopped at the other end of Jiulian Mountain.

"Jingting Mountain!" This result was beyond Mei Zhenyi's expectations.
