Chapter 20: Galadriel
After the sun was gradually setting into the mountains, when the Zhongzhou team left, the shadows in the forest gradually deepened, and they were now moving towards the dense trees. However, before going far, the night had completely fallen. At the front, Halda immediately turned on the oil lamp she had originally carried to lead the direction for everyone.
"This place is so beautiful... But why do I always feel that the blood clan energy in my body is a little depressed?" Zheng Zha asked Chu Xuan in the spiritual chain as he followed Halda's pace.
"I think it's probably because of the barrier."
Chu Xuan replied: "The blood clan energy in your body is negative energy, and there is a barrier of the elf clan here, which will naturally have a partial suppression effect on you, and it is normal for you to feel uncomfortable."
"Entermination? What barrier?" Zheng Zha said in confusion.
"Through my glasses, we can see that there are energy lines covering this area, which seems to be an invisible protective cover covering the Roslolian Forest." Chu Xuan replied: "In the novel of the Lord of the Rings, Sauron sent more than 100,000 orcs to attack Roslolian, but instead was beaten to the point of falling water. That time... there may be the reason for this barrier."
"...Hey, you won't get a combat power detector, are you?" Zheng Zha asked with a strange face.
"It is being transformed, but there are still some technical problems... But what do you think of me?" Chu Xuan glanced at Zheng Zha and said.
"Ding...ah no."
While speaking, everyone had already arrived at an empty grassland and found themselves standing under the sky dotted with sparse stars. In front of them was a circular clearing with no trees. Beyond the clearing were layered trees, covered in shadows; on the other side was a hill, on which many of the tallest Mellon trees they had ever seen grew.
These trees look as spectacular as towers in the twilight, and among the towering branches, there are many various green, golden and silver lights shining.
“Welcome to Carlaska Raton!”
Halda pointed to the scene in front of her and said to everyone: "This is the city of Treemen, where Lord Selepeng and Queen Lorien Kellandriel live. We have to go in from the south, because the city is very large, so the journey is not close."
So everyone circled again. Outside the jungle, there was a path covered with white stones. They walked west along the road, watching the city on the left getting higher and higher, as if floating above green clouds. As the night became darker, the lights became more and more, and finally the entire hill seemed to be hidden in the sea of stars. Finally, they came to a white bridge, opposite the city gate, facing the southwest, and on both sides were solid and walls with many lights hanging on them.
In the city, they walked many roads and climbed many stairs before they came to a lawn and saw a glittering fountain in front of them. The fountain was illuminated by many oil lamps hanging from nearby branches and fell into a silver basin, where a clear spring water flowed out of the silver basin.
On the south side of the lawn is the tallest of all the sacred trees. Its huge trunk shines like gray silk and extends all the way up until the first branch was hidden among the leaves like clouds. There is a white staircase on the trunk, and three elves sat there. When they saw someone approaching, they immediately jumped up.
“There are Selepeng and Keillander living here,” Halda said. “They hope you can go up and talk to them.”
"It seems we are going to climb the rope ladder." Zheng Zha looked at the rope ladder in front of him and smiled and said to the others behind him: "Let's go."
So everyone began to follow Halda and climb up the vines. When they reached a place very high from the ground, they came to a wide lookout platform, as huge as a football field, and built a house on it, which was so big that it could be used as a human hall on the ground.
Everyone followed Halda and found themselves standing in an oval hall with a huge Mellon trunk in the center. Although they were almost at the top, the trunk of this tree still looked spectacular here, and countless shiny beads hung around them, making the place as beautiful as a fairyland.
The hall was filled with soft light, the walls were green and silver, and the roof was golden, and many elves sat here. There were two chairs close to the trunk, with living leaves as covers, and Selepeng and Gelandriel sat on it. The two stood up and welcomed the guests according to the etiquette of the elves, and welcomed the arrival of the Zhongzhou team with courtesy like receiving emperors.
They were very tall, and the queen was not much taller than the emperor, and they were both very serious and extremely beautiful. Both of them were dressed in white, the queen's hair was dark gold, and Selepeng's hair was plump and bright silver. However, there was no trace of time on their faces, and the only clue was only in their eyes. Both eyes were as sharp as the tips of guns in a moonlit night, but they also contained deep memories.
Halda led the Zhongzhou team to the two, and the emperor welcomed the group in their language. But Queen Kelantriel didn't say a word, just staring at everyone's eyes, as if she wanted to see them clearly. When everyone came into contact with her eyes, even Zheng Zha felt a sound in her mind. It felt like the chains of the mind connecting consciousness, but there were some differences. They couldn't say what was different.
"Everyone be careful... it's mental power. Queen Kelantriel is actually proficient in mental power, and her mental power attainments are still above me, and she can almost compete with Zhang Jie."
At this moment, Zhan Lan suddenly launched a mental blocking force, protecting everyone in it, and warned in the spiritual chain.
"Is this how Queen Gerantrill treats the messenger from Verino?" Chu Xuan suddenly stepped forward and said in a normal tone: "Mr. Gerantrill, you came to the Middle Earth from Verino despite Verino's opinion just for the dark enemy of the universe. Now, his claws are about to extend to this peaceful continent. Are you still questioning our identity?"
After hearing Chu Xuan's words, the elves in the hall became turbulent, and even showed anger on their faces, because although Chu Xuan's words were said in a normal tone, they sounded no different from questioning others. But Chu Xuan still stood there calmly, as if he was not the one who said this.
"It's okay."
Kellandriel spoke, her voice as pleasant as a poem: "Because of the great importance, even though Eron brought his own token, I still cannot trust you completely, but now I believe it. You are impeccable in strength and mind, and I cannot see your heart at all, and I do feel the breath of the elf among you."
As he said that, Kellandriel lowered his beautiful head and nodded slightly, "Welcome to you, the messengers from all Vera."
"I am the elves of Nodo, daughter of Fenaphin, Lord of Roslorien, and Kelantriel."
