013 Nico.

Lawrence looked around curiously, and the air was filled with thin red mist, but it did not affect the identification of the color.

"We succeed, Rena, so that my father and mother can survive forever." A witch in a white robe said, and in the cauldron in front of him, a blood-red stone floated on the bright red potion.

"Great, Morris, clean up the table." The witch in a white robe was also on the side. Her clothes were a little loose, her belly was bulging, and she was obviously pregnant. She raised her wand to prepare to clean the experiment table.

"Wait, why haven't the potions been consumed?" The witch paused and asked in horror.

"Morris--" The witch held up the wand's hand and began to decompose into blood-red particles out of thin air. The wand fell to the ground with a thud. The witch screamed, "Ahhhh--"

"No - stop - ah -" the witch screamed and wanted to rush forward, took a step forward but fell to the ground - his feet began to decompose into blood-red particles,

"Morris." The witch cried sadly. The blood-red stone in the cauldron floated up and shone slightly in the air. It began to absorb blood-colored particles and potions in the cauldron.

"No--this shouldn't be like this." The witch roared,

The red fog began to rotate, and the surrounding scenery also quickly retreated. Lawrence came to another place again, and the red fog stopped rotating.

It was a gorgeous room, with an old witch sitting expressionlessly on a delicate armchair, and beside him was another witch with a sad face,

"This is what you have made for the death?" The witch stared at the blood-red stone on the table, "It's not worth it..."

"Morris, Rena..." The witch next to her covered her face and cried,

"Hehehehehe---"

"Who?" The witch suddenly stood up and looked around vigilantly.

"I-I-I-I-I-"

"I warn you not to pretend to be a ghost, otherwise." The witch took out her wand to threaten,

"Nico, what's wrong with you?" The witch looked up at the witch in a daze.

"I'm in front of you-" The magic stone on the table emitted a red light, dyeing the whole room blood red. The witch stared blankly at the strange scene,

"What are you?" asked the witch pointed at the stone with her wand.

"I can realize your wishes. I don't lack wealth, and I don't think you have strength, but do you want to live forever?"

"Eternal life? No!" The witch shouted angrily, "Give me my family back!"

"Hehehehe, what you have is not enough exchange." Shi Tou said,

"What should I do?" the witch asked, staring at the stone.

"Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe" The stone did not answer, it smiled, and the red light in the room gradually contracted back into the stone,

The red mist spins as it opens again, Lawrence waits for the next location, but he starts to feel dizzy and he faints.

Lawrence smelled the fragrance of the air and opened his eyes. He lay on a bench with a silver bandage wrapped in his left hand, and was engraved with strange patterns. This was Dumbledore's office. Lawrence remembered, and unlike in his memory, an old man was stirring a big pot, and Snape bowed and whispered,

"Oh, kid, are you awake?" The old man turned to smile at him, "The potion happened to be right."

"Who are you?" Lawrence asked rashly, because the scene was so funny, the old man's fashionable dress contrasted with Snape's unchanging black robe.

"Do you like it?" the old man asked happily, pulling the buckle on his clothes as if he was showing off to Lawrence. "The latest dragon leather jacket costs 718 Gallons for one." (Note 1)

"You can't be so rude, Mr. Rovander." Snape said a little tactfully, "Glenfindo"

"Don't be so serious, little Sif," said the old man. He took the spoon and poured the dark blue potion into the bowl cleanly. Snape seemed to choke and quickly packed up the things on the table with a stern face. Lawrence almost laughed, "My name is Nicole Lemay."

Snape doesn't seem to like the title "Little Syphus", but he can't refute it. After all, his age doesn't even have a fraction of the other party.

"I'll go out first." Snape said, holding his own thing, glaring at Lawrence before leaving, warning him not to tell the matter out.

Nico waved his wand, and the silver bandage on Lawrence's left hand was automatically untied, revealing a hideous wound, but Lawrence did not feel any pain at all. He could clearly feel the unknown power on it, just like--

"You were stabbed by fragments of the Philosopher's Stone." Nico. Lemay said, "Awesome achievement, child, your spell successfully knocked down a small corner of the Philosopher's Stone."

"You know, this is something that many wizards can't do. Now, drink it," Nico. Lemay handed him a small bowl of potion,

Lawrence took the bowl with his right hand, and he noticed that there was a trace of golden light in the dark blue potion. He raised his head and drank the potion that smelled like lemon ale. Slightly red mist drifted from the wound.

"So, do us a favor, Fox." Nico. Lemay said that the Phoenix Fox flew down, and it looked at Lawrence and blinked, a drop of pearly tears dripped accurately on the wound on Lawrence's left hand, and another trace of black smoke appeared in his wound, completely healing,

"Thank you, Fox." Lawrence gently stroked the phoenix's flame-like feathers with his healed left hand. Fox sang a song and returned to its often resting shelf.

"I guess you have some problems right?" Nico. Lemay smiled and said, "Dumbledore said you like asking questions."

"Yes, sir." Lawrence said, "I was hit by Voldemort's spell."

"Of course you hit his spell." Nico. Lemay put away his smile and said, "A spell that is extremely evil."

"But I don't seem to feel the difference?" Lawrence asked.

"You should know that a kind of obscene magic is called the mind-breaking technique." Nico. Lemay said, "Vodemort is an extremely high-level heartbreaker. He is good at breaking through other people's hearts and stealing the deepest secrets in other people's hearts."

"He got inspiration from the madman. When he stole someone's secrets, he casts a spell to lock the person in his own most sad memory. The negative emotions will encourage the spell to become stronger and stronger, and only a powerful heart-locker can resist it." Nico. A flash of fear flashed across Lemay's face, "He used this trick to destroy countless excellent male witches and witches. For wizards, mental collapse is no different from death. The former is even worse than death."

"Then... why am I okay?" Lawrence was puzzled. "I don't know how to lock my mind, and I'm not locked in my memories."

"Yes, I think it's because of this." Nico. Lemay took out a blood-red stone with a noticeable mark on it, "Amazing spell, I tried to destroy him, but I failed, and I could not even leave a scratch on the strongest spell."

"How could it be?" Lawrence said in surprise, "You can't destroy him?"

"Oh, Dumbledore will explain this later," Nico. Lemay said, "You, Voldemort, Dumbledore, and maybe Grindelwald back then, you four are very - different."

Lawrence didn't speak, he remembered what Voldemort said to him--we are the same kind of people,

"Let's talk about you again, kid." Nico. Lemay smiled and said, "Your spell successfully shattered a small corner of the stone, and its fragments stabbed your left hand."

Lawrence looked at his left hand intact, and the phoenix's tears were amazing, and he didn't even leave any scars.

"This stone has helped you block most of the spells. This thing may not have emotions, but it has memories," Nico. Lemay said calmly, "I think you've seen the memory of this stone?"

Lawrence nodded,

"Can you tell me?" Nico. Lemay looked at Lawrence hopefully,

Lawrence briefly tells the experimental encounter between Morris and Rena to Nico. Listen to Lemay, Nico. After hearing this, Lemay closed his eyes. Lawrence did not continue to talk about the next memory. He guessed that this should be Nico. The message Lemay wants to know,

"Would you like to listen to me tell a story? Child." Nico. Lemay asked, Lawrence nodded,

"Once there was a famous alchemist, who had a son who made him proud in alchemy, named Morris, and Morris also married an excellent alchemist named Narena,

The beginning of the event is cliché. One day, when the alchemist celebrated his seventy-fifth birthday, he said: "I hope that in his lifetime, the legendary Philosopher's Stone can be successfully made."

"Why? Father." Morris asked him this because he didn't understand that his father was wealthy, famous, powerful, and not old. Of course, for a powerful wizard, seventy-five years old was only half of his life.

The alchemist replied with a smile: "In order to see my grandchildren grow up safely." At this time, Reina was not pregnant yet. The alchemist's original intention was to see his grandson earlier, but his son would have misunderstood. Morris followed Reina to study the legendary Philosopher's Stone. They searched for clues in the literature and experimented with the truth in the classics. After a few years, Reina became pregnant.

"Enough is enough, Rena is pregnant, stop researching first." The alchemist said,

"No! It's about to succeed, it's about to happen." Morris replied, Rena was worried about her husband, so they continued to study..." Nico. Lemay paused the story and looked at Lawrence,

"That memory?" Lawrence asked,

"Yes, you've completed what I don't know," Nico. Lemay continued the story: "The accident happened, the alchemist lost his son, his son's wife, and his unborn grandson, and the alchemist's wife Perenell angrily accused him,

They searched for the ruined laboratory and found a blood-red stone.

They brought the stone home because it was very similar to the legendary Philosopher's Stone. At this time, the stone spoke,

"I can realize your wishes. I don't lack wealth, and I don't think you have strength, but do you want to live forever?"

"Eternal life? No!" the alchemist shouted angrily, "Give me my family back!"

"What you have is not enough exchange." Shi Tou said,

So, the alchemist also began to look for the way to make magic stones like crazy. He thought that if one is not enough, he would make two, three, and four. He was very famous. Soon, the whole magic world knew that he wanted to find a way to reproduce the magic stones.

But year after year, day after day, the alchemist was unable to reappear the Philosopher's Stone. Finally, he was old and he was about to die, but he was unwilling to accept that he could not exchange his family for him.

"Give me a lifetime, I will continue to live." He told Shi Tou that he was obsessed with his research,

So the stone gave him lifespan,

A few more years later, Perenell is about to die.

"Give her life." He said to Shitou again that he did not want to lose any family member, and he selfishly kept his wife.

So Perenell survived again, and people all think that he made the Philosopher's Stone, and he became even more famous.

But during the long research process, he understood that even if the souls and lifespan of his family members could be exchanged equally, it would not be possible to exchange for the lifespan of more than a thousand years between him and Perenell."

"Even today, the power of stone is enough for us to live for a long time." Nico. Lemay told Lawrence this

"What's going on with the extra lifespan?" Lawrence asked, feeling something was wrong with the story, but he couldn't tell it.

"I think it's the relationship between Morris and Rena, the love for us, the love for the birth of a child," Nico. Lemay said that at this point, he could no longer hide his sorrow. "I have understood this truth for five hundred years. I have asked Perenell to wait for me for too long. If it weren't for me, she wouldn't want to continue living."

Lawrence felt that he was about to breathe, and the old man's sorrow was like a substantial tide, which made people suffocate. At this time, the magic stone on the table emitted a slight red light, and the old man's expression gradually calmed down.

"Did you notice it?" Nico. Lemay sneered, "The depth of the mark."

"Shallower?" Lawrence asked in disbelief. "He feeds on negative emotions?"

"To be precise, there is only sorrow, we always pay the price inadvertently," Nico. Lemay said, "Let you see this again."

"The legendary philosopher's stone can be turned into gold?" Nico. Lemay picked up the stone and tapped the empty teacup on the table, "turning the teacup into gold."

Nothing happened, the teacup is still the teacup.

"Did you notice it? I have been working hard for the lies it gave me for the past five hundred years." Nico. Lemay said that he threw the stone into the teacup casually, "This is not a philosopher's stone, but a deformed monster that can only last for life."

"The basic conditions of magic, death is irreversible." Lawrence replied in a dry voice.

"Let's turn stones into gold, and live forever, but I can't get back to those carefree years." Nico. Lemay looked at Lawrence and said seriously, "Equivalent exchange sounds easy, but some prices may not be willing to pay, and some benefits may not be what you think."

Lawrence listened to the old man's deepest experience in his life, and was speechless.

"You are still young, but you are so extraordinary. I hope you don't pursue things that are not good for you like me." Nico. Lemay said, turning around and stepping into the stove, "Tell me Dumbledore that the sooner the stone is destroyed, when will Perenell and I cry."

Author's words: Salute to "Professor of Magical Culture", he wrote very well, about Nico. Lemay's chapters are even more exciting. Although my magic stone settings are different from his, the passages with large strings are of great help to me to write these articles, and then I beg him to start updating them again.

Note 1: One Galon is about five pounds, you can convert it yourself if you are curious. In addition, I have always thought it was very unfair. A must-have for killing people to silence people at home - a magic wand, which only costs seven Galons. Don’t you think there is anything strange? As the largest wand seller in the UK (that is, arms dealer), Ollivand can live well until now without a bodyguard. Such a person does not have ten or eight Aurors look at him. How dare you sleep? He was kidnapped by Voldemort at will. In this way, do you understand the huge nerves in the magic world more clearly?

Thanks to the rewards [Qingyilou Outer Building].
