860: You made a mistake (5/5)

Doug Rivers originally planned to completely widen the score difference in the second quarter, but now he is thinking about how to approach the score.

Rivers misjudged the strength of Jordan and Griffin. He did not expect that if Link was restricted, the Clippers would be beaten to death by Gasol and a 10-day short-term worker...

However, 9 points are not the end of the world for the Clippers, and Rivers is still full of hope for the game.

"In the second half, we execute people to mark people. Whiteside has no offensive skills and no singles ability. Gasol will have a sharp drop in efficiency when encountering strong defense. As for Link..." Rivers said this, he couldn't help but look at Paul.

"Link didn't make much move in the second quarter, and only scored 10 points at the end of the half. His physical condition should have been a big problem. In the second half, Barnes, you can handle him. If not, Chris, you go to defend Link."

Rivers knew very well that the biggest drawback of man-to-man defense was that Link would be liberated.

But Rivers was lucky because of Link's previous performance. He believed that Link might not be able to do his best.

"I'm extremely happy!" Paul started to rub his hands. He was not afraid of defending an opponent taller than him.

Paul heard what Link said during the intermission during the intermission. Not to mention that in the second quarter, Link had provoked Paul countless times.

No matter what, he will not give up on this game! Paul hates being offended, and he will let Link see who is the boss.

The second half began soon, and Jordan and Griffin both lowered their heads when they appeared.

When the second quarter was exposed like that, they naturally had a dull face.

Paul patted their backs to show encouragement, "It's only 9 points away, we still have a lot of time. As long as people can guard against it, we can overtake it!"

Being 9 points behind in the first half is indeed not the end of the world. On the commentary stage, Mark Jackson also said something similar to Paul.

"The Grizzlies played very well in the second quarter, but the Clippers were not a fuel-efficient light. Redick, Paul and Crawford all performed well today on the offense today. I wouldn't be surprised if they could play a shot of offense."

"But have you ever thought that Mark. The one who took the lead in attacking the ** might be the Grizzlies?" Hubby Bryn smiled. Link only scored 10 points today.

That guy hasn't started attacking yet.

"No, no. Doug Rivers is experienced, you and I know this. He will not do anything in vain. The Clippers must have adjusted their defensive strategies to limit the Grizzlies' inside double towers."

Hubby Brown just smiled and didn't say anything.

It seems that Mark Jackson still doesn't know Link's style. He has to come to the Federal Express Arena to explain a few more games.

Before the second half began, Link had just stepped onto the court and waved at Paul.

"Chris, I hope you're ready."

"I hope you are ready, and we will regroup." Paul chattered with his waist.

"It seems you haven't realized the mistake you made yet, Chris. The biggest mistake you made today is to offend me."

Link said this with a smile, but Paul felt a chill on his back.

Soon, the Grizzlies took the baseline ball and Link officially began to implement his "three-quarter punch-in" plan.

In the first attack in the second half, Link took over the ball. Barnes hugged up, hoping to put pressure on Link.

Rivers felt extremely nervous off the court. Whether Link could still show his best form is the key to whether the Clippers can win today.

After a tentative step, Link accelerated the breakthrough and made a quick stop and jumped at mid-range.

As soon as the ball was shot, Rivers waved his fist. He could see that Link's shot was wrong!

Sure enough, the basketball hit the front of the basket, and Link missed the first shot!

The audience sighed. Did Link really not recover from the strain today?

Just as everyone was suspicious, Link quickly jumped into the penalty area after failing to shoot and "flyed" into the air lightly.

Jordan Jr. had just moved his bulky body away from the floor, but Link had already stretched out his long arms on his head and grabbed the basketball that was popping out of the frame.

I saw Link gently pointing his hand in the air, and the basketball flew back to the basket.

This time, no accident happened, and the basketball fell into the ball net!

"Wonderful self-shots and self-grabbing, Link scored a tip-in, and he widened the score difference to double digits! Haha, it seems that his previous shot was just to pave the way for this beautiful tip-in."

The fans who were still sighing the previous second immediately cheered. This is Link. He can always rewrite the results when everyone thinks they are finished!

Link raised his arms high and smiled with the fans on the scene.

But when passing by Paul, Link's smile still made the "Queen Bee" feel uncomfortable, "This is just the beginning, Chris, just the beginning. We still have time to slowly correct your mistakes."

This is not the first time that Paul has been provoked like this, but every time, he can immediately regain his face.

This time, Paul also thought so.

After borrowing Griffin's pick-and-roll, Paul suddenly stopped urgently, creating the illusion of preparing for a mid-range shot.

Conley was fooled, and he threw his center of gravity to jump and block it. Paul went down the donkey and accelerated twice, passing by Conley.

Don't forget that this Clippers No. 3 is also a master of dribbling.

Paul broke through quickly, and at this time, neither Gasol nor Whiteside had returned to the penalty area. Paul knew that under such circumstances, he almost did whatever he wanted.

Take off, snatch the air, hand the basketball to the basket, and...

"Bang!"

Link swung his huge palm from behind Paul, and Taishan pressed the ball cleanly on the rebound, and Paul fell to the ground!

Paul lay on the ground and looked at Link who was full of anger in his eyes. Link shook his head slightly at Paul, as if telling him, "The time you do whatever you want is over."

"I was cheated, Paul has been targeted by Link! The player with the lowest blocking rate in the league cannot avoid the empty firepower that Link can't help." Hubby Brynn made a lot of witty comments, and he had already prepared for Link's outbreak.

Link turned around and fought back, and instantly ran to the frontcourt.

Matt Barnes arrived in time and interrupted the Grizzlies' fast attack.

But Link did not give up. Seeing that the fast attack failed, he leaned against Barnes with his strong back and raised his hand to ask for the ball like an inside player.

Conley sent the ball comfortably, and Barnes gritted his teeth, knowing that he was about to face a tough battle.

However, the battle ended earlier than Barnes expected.

Link turned around, applied wide shoulders and thick back to Barnes, as if a compass had drawn a perfect arc.

Link's pace was so fast that Barnes had no reaction to the turn. He seemed like a dead tree, watching Link flash through him, and then gently put the ball into the box.

Without a hard battle, Link made Barnes "dead" without pain.

Link scored 4 points in a row, but everyone knew that his performance was not over yet.

Chris Paul doesn't want to watch Link perform. He signaled Barnes to change positions with him, and he will defend Link himself!

But before that, the Clippers have to solve the offensive problem.

Paul's singles are not working now, and he knows that Link is staring at him. So he wants to find Redick or Griffin, hoping to break the deadlock with his shot.

However, what Paul did not expect was that Link was the first to defend himself.

Facing Link's long arms waving, Paul lowered his center of gravity and waited for Jordan Jr. to take the pick-and-roll.

Link stared at the basketball in Paul's hand, and he could feel the power of Paul's about to explode.

Jordan Jr. was in place with cover, Paul accelerated to prepare for a breakthrough. He worked hard and the temperature in the "engine" had been raised to the highest level!

Just as Paul accelerated, Link suddenly stretched out his long arm and stabbed the basketball in his hand without Paul reacting at all!

"What!? Link stole Chris Paul!?" Mark Jackson stood up with his hands covering his head. Paul seemed to be a pot of water that was about to boil. A second before it overflowed from the pot, Link poured a bowl of cold water.

Paul immediately "cooled", but Link took the opportunity to attack alone. Barnes found that he could not catch up with the No. 0 at all. He had to admit that he was no longer the "mad dog" of the Warriors' gang.

Link twitched with one hand and scored 6 points in a row!

Paul was rarely snatched away from the basketball by others, but this time, he felt Link's deep malice.

His mind is now full of Link's words, "You made a mistake."

20 seconds later, Link tricked Paul into the air from outside the three-point line. The latter was like an out of control plane and was hit head-on by Link, taking a shot, foul, and getting three free throws!

At the free throw line, Link made no mistakes, made all three free throws, and scored 9 points in a row!

In the next round, Link made a much simpler play. He swung a shot and then cut hard on the right, pushing Paul to make a layup successfully with three big steps.

Paul was completely unable to resist, and Link's impact completely crushed him in.

Scoring 11 points in a row, Link went crazy!

Every round after this, Paul regrets, regretting that he irritated people who should not be angry in the first quarter...

When Link easily scored again on Paul's head with a turnover jump shot, Doug Rivers stopped the game.

Before the second half began, Paul also encouraged the dejected Griffin and Jordan Jr. as the leader.

But now, Paul's head is buried deeper than them.

"Scored 15 points in a row, terrible Link. At the beginning of the third quarter, he scored 15 points, and the Clippers could not stop him. He only scored 10 points in the first half, but this guy seemed to have deliberately saved his energy and released them all in the third quarter!"

Link scored a 15-0 wave by himself. The Clippers are now 24 points behind and are beaten to pieces, with almost no room for counterattack.

As Link said, he ended everything before the fourth quarter came.
