Chapter 25 The Baron

Favorites==

Baron Alanbert stopped around the corner, with a noticeable panic on his face. The fire reflected his pale face, looking like a dead man who had been dead for many days. He hesitated and moved in and out of place.

"Come on, Lord Baron." No matter what he came here for, he was caught by Prince Oberon. Now there is a good show. His kindness has not yet spread to pity his enemies. Leo smiled happily, "Good luck."

"Oh." The baron seemed to have come back to his senses. He opened his mouth and said in a daze, "Alchemist..."

Leo knew that his smile must be particularly distorted and looked extremely ridiculous. But this was just because of the pain caused by the cracked wound, and it would not make the Baron so afraid. Could it be that he was a demon crawling out of hell in the eyes of the other party? "I'm not dead yet, it's really a blessing for you." He ridiculed softly, "Are you here to visit Miss Nianta?"

The Baron was nervous and uneasy, and carefully looked at Prince Oberon who had not spoken. Leo's words seemed to be a shortcut to stay away from the predicament. He gave the answer without hesitation. "Ah, yes, yes." He said loudly, "I am here to visit Miss Nianta. I am worried that she has suffered."

"He knows Nianta?" Lu Yuewu asked softly.

Yes, he knew Nianta? The girl held Leo's hand tightly and refused to separate. She was disguised with her hair and her face was covered. How could he recognize the other person? Logically speaking, they had not seen each other for seven years, and in these few days... "The Baron has never been here." The one-eyed jailer whispered.

Prince Oberon's eyes narrowed into a line, and Leo could feel his anger. He and they should have thought of going together. "Why are you here?" the prince asked in a deep voice.

"Dear, Your Highness, Prince." Baron Alanbert stuttered, escaping the prince's questioning eyes. He was almost at a loss. "I am here to visit Miss Nianta." He replied repeatedly.

Every king is a performer who is better than professional actors. "Who is Nianta?" the prince said in confusion. His expression could not be seen in any sign of fakeness, and anyone would be deceived by him.

"It's the daughter of the Count of the Golden Ship, Vivian's daughter." The more anxious the Baron was, the more things he revealed. "You have always regarded her as your own."

"Didn't she die long ago?"

"She's still alive." The Baron tried his best to prove himself. He quickly walked to the prison door and pointed at the girl, "Isn't she? She's undoubtedly Nianta."

"Neon Witch? No, it's not her." The prince shook his head, looking completely unbelievable. "Nianta died eight years ago, and the Night Witch appeared around us only seven years ago. Why would she still be alive? I personally attended her funeral and watched her be buried with her parents. It was the tomb I closed and the statue of the three-headed dog I smashed. Did my memory go wrong?"

Faced with the prince's harsh questioning, the Baron lowered his head. "You remember correctly." He said, "but she is indeed..."

"Enough, Baron. You are too tired. I will pretend that your nonsense is not heard. I will not allow you to blaspheme the dead." The prince stopped him. "Nianta is dead, just like her mother, Vivian, the girl you once loved. Don't be addicted to your fantasy. You should be with Margaret now. She needs you."

"Margaret?" Baron almost gritted his teeth, "No, I'm going to talk about the Night Witch. She is really Nianta..."

"What about the reason? Allenbert, I want the reason, I want the evidence." The prince guided calmly, suggesting. "I will not listen to your one-sided words. I have no basis for speaking, do you know?"

"That's because, because..." Baron Alanbert suddenly shivered and suddenly woke up. Now he knew it was too late to say that he would leave. He should have said goodbye from the beginning, rather than staying until now. At this time, his face was covered with cold sweat and his clothes were soaked. "...because..."

"Because what?" the prince continued to put pressure. "Tell me, Alan Burt. I'd love to know why you are so sure. And, your evidence, where is it?"

Alan Burt swallowed his bitterness with difficulty. "This... this is my guess, sir, I just saw her eyes. I will never forget Vivian's eyes, her eyes are the same as Vivian."

"There are many people in the world who have the same appearance." Leo reminded with malicious intentions.

What was received was the other party's hatred look. "I can prove it. I must be her."

The prince asked, “How to prove it?”

The Baron stood in front of the prison door and hesitated. He asked carefully, "Can I come in?"

"Come in." The prince had no good tone.

Baron Alanbert walked into the cell. The girl grabbed Leo's hand tighter, her broken nails tightly clasped his palms. Her body shivered. She was even more scared than any moment before, Leo realized.

"Tell me, why do you think she is Nianta?" the prince asked calmly, "I didn't see anything."

Baron Alanbert suddenly became cautious. "Can I look at her?" He stood there motionless. He moved his foot toward Leo until he received the instructions of the prince. "Go aside, alchemist." He sarcastically said to the alchemist. "Don't block my way. Also, she is Miss Nianta, the heir to the Golden Boat Family. And you are just a sinner, don't touch her!"

Li Ou was pushed away by him. The alchemist staggered, and it was all supported by Lu Yuewu to restore balance. The pain in the wound made him almost uncontrollable. But... he always felt something was particularly wrong. The doubts in his heart even overshadowed the physical pain. He turned a blind eye to Lu Yuewu and the Bachelor's concern and stared at the Baron.

"Miss Nianta." Alanbert reached out to the other party, "Remember me?" The smile that squeezed out on his face was so false and disgusting that Leo felt nauseous.

Nianta shook her head hard, her face showing horror. "No, I don't know you, I don't know you." She kept saying.

"Can I show me how to see you? Let me look at your eyes and the birthmark on your back." Baron Alanbert seemed to know everything, and even the prince didn't know it, and he said it from his mouth. He slowly approached the girl. "Come on, let me prove that you are Miss Nianta. The beautiful and elegant Vivian... good daughter... our princess."

"No, don't come over, don't come over." The girl retreated all the way. She looked at the Baron as if she had seen hooligans and gangsters, as if the Baron was the nightmare in her heart. "Don't come over... no..." She avoided Alanbert's hand, was stunned for a moment, and then her face became even more scared. "I know who you are, you, you..." She screamed suddenly, and suddenly ran out when they were still at a loss, but Alanbert grabbed her.

"Alanbert, let her go!" The prince stepped forward to stop him, "What are you doing?"

Baron Alanbert smiled coldly, "I'm proving." He said that he was about to peel off the girl's long skirt that covered her body. The girl struggled hard. She was like a wild beast, kicking, biting, and tugging, but nothing worked. Alanbert said hard without saying a word, and would not give up until she achieved her goal!

The prince roared loudly, "Alanbert!"

"It'll be fine soon." He grabbed the girl's clothes.

The girl suddenly screamed in a shrill voice, just like the night witch that night. The first one was the alchemist and Prince Oberon next to her. Their heads were buzzing and shaking in the screams. The magic power began to move, whirring in the cell. The girl's face had magic patterns again, and her pale skin was changing to purple. Her forehead was bulging, as if something was coming out of it. Her screams became less and less like humans.

What's going on? The curse has obviously been lifted.

"Alanbert!" It must be him! The alchemist caught a glimpse of his grin.

The baron stood still in the storm of magic. The expression on his face was filled with hatred, hatred, disgust and pleasure. He pulled off the girl's skirt and made her naked. "Call me, keep screaming. Let me listen, let me listen!" He looked crazy, "How wonderful, so beautiful. I didn't get Vivian, but I can play with her daughter - a bastard with other men's blood!" He pinched the girl's neck. The girl wailed in pain and struggled in the changes in her body. "It's a pity that she couldn't give birth to another little bastard... But how could a monster give birth to a child?"

He was simply crazy. The girl was almost suffocating and her struggle was powerless. But her screams had reached its peak and then stopped abruptly. Leo felt a sharp pain in his ears, and the prince flew backwards first. Then Leo felt as if a siege ram hit his chest. He soared into the air, hit the wall of the cell, and then slid to the ground like a broken doll. Then the bachelor's lady fell on him and pressed him down.

"Li Ou!" Lu Yuewu, who barely stabilized her body, rushed over, picked him up, and used her body to block the dishes and wooden blocks that flew in succession for him.

Every part of his body was unconscious. "Kill him." He said with difficulty. The girl started to wail. Her crying sounded like a whip, whipping everyone and everything. Only the baron in front of her was unharmed. "Kill him, he is the spellcaster." He suddenly saw Alanbert pulling out a dagger from his arms. The dagger was pitch black and bloody, with a thick and unknown. The patterned alchemist felt extremely familiar. He realized that the other party was planning to do something terrible. He pushed the female swordsman hard. "Kill him, don't worry about me." He yelled with all his strength regardless of the blood gushing out of the wound.

Lu Yuewu attacked the Baron. The sword shadow danced gracefully under the fire, and was as steady as usual on the wave of magic. She jumped up. Every move, every step of her movement, came from instinct, from hard training, and from sensitivity to danger. The rapid three steps, the third step, was like thousands of training sessions, guessed the left foot and stabilized. Her upper body twisted and swung a heavy sword.

The sword hit the dagger and burst out a string of Mars. The flash of Mars had not yet dissipated. She took another step forward like a thousand times of training, swung the last sword, turned around, pulled the sword out, and drew a strange bloodline in the air. Alanbert's right arm flew into the air.

The girl fell heavily to the ground and began to cry.
