Section 194 Yan Hao willful

The tombs of such an unknown little king are so large that they have more imaginations about the tombs of other pharaohs.↗

The garden in front of the Egyptian Museum may be due to the protection of cultural relics, and the ventilation is poor. Nalan Shiqi felt depressed and uncomfortable, so she came out in advance. Yunluo was worried about her, so after listening to the tour guide's explanation, she also came out to accompany her. On a sunny afternoon, there is a rare green lawn in Cairo here, which makes people feel very comfortable.

At the entrance of the Egyptian Museum, when the museum comes out, it is in dusty, congested and noisy streets, dry climate, and surrounded by deserts, which are simply impossible to have bright windows in Cairo. In addition, the interesting things that can be seen everywhere in Cairo are large numbers of unfinished buildings that have already lived in. Since the government promises that as long as the building is built, there will be free water and electricity, and taxes will only be collected after the building is topped off, so Cairo's houses are "never built", and most of them are "no ceiling".

After leaving the Egyptian Museum, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo visited the papyrus shop. This technique that was once almost lost, but now the clerk can easily show the entire process of papyrus making for tourists. There are many beautiful papyrus paintings in the store, but the price is not cheap. Yunluo and Nalan Shiqi insist that these paintings are not placed at home, so they were not purchased.

At Cairo Railway Station, that night, Nalan Seqi and Yunluo were going to take a train to Aswan. Who would have thought that Cairo, as the capital, had only one platform at the railway station. One train after another entered the station, and group of people flocked into the car. When many trains were driving away, the doors were not closed. I wonder if it was for the convenience of "get off at any time". The train may arrive early or leave late, but the tour guide said that this was the same as the traffic jam in Cairo. When can you depart and when can you arrive. It is all "Arranged by Allah."

The train to Aswan is a room for two people. After driving for half an hour, the waiter will deliver dinner. The "uneasy train dinner" criticized by many tourists. After Yunluo and Nalan Shiqi took out the pickles, they felt quite right. After driving for an hour, the waiter will unlock the bed board with a small key. The back of the sofa in the car will lie down and become a bed. The upper floor bed board will be placed down and become another bed. Fortunately, the overall environment, including the bed, is very clean, and after a day of fatigue, I sleep very sweetly.

Aswan shuttles through the modern and ancient shock, Aswan Dam-Philare Temple-unfinished obelisk-Egypt. If the supper on the train to Aswan made many people complain, then the breakfast on the train is enough to make people collapse - 5 breads per person, served with cream, butter, jam, etc. Although the waiter will also serve coffee and black tea, it still cannot be eaten. Moreover, because some breads are not sealed, the bread in the bag is covered with dust.

Before getting off the train to Aswan, Nalan Seqi asked Yunluo to take a photo of the toilet table in the car. Although the water flow is a little small, it is really practical. This is not visible on domestic trains.

The washing table on the train to Aswan was unbearable that I took a night's plane and swam across the pyramids, Sphinxes, and Egyptian Museum. After taking the train for another night, I got on the train without even taking a shower and then went on a tour.

The first stop today is the Aswan Dam. In fact, there were already pharaohs in ancient Egypt to build dams on the Nile River, but because the ancient dams were built on the places where both sides were soil, the dam was not stable until the Aswan Dam was completed. The Aswan Dam not only strongly supported the power supply almost the entire Egypt, improved the climate effect of the region. It increased precipitation, but also blocked the annual flooding of the Nile River. Although the construction of the Aswan Dam was still widely controversial like the Three Gorges, such as the Nile Delta, which was affected, flooded a large number of historical sites, forcing a large number of indigenous people to relocate... But in terms of Egypt's national conditions, the construction of the dam was still adapted to the times.

When the car drove into Aswan's city, you could see the lush grass and trees. Compared to the dusty Cairo, Yunluo prefers the comfort of the sun. The tour guide told Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo that Aswan is a region with relatively high temperatures throughout the year, and the highest temperature in summer can reach about 45 degrees.

On the Aswan Dam, brightly colored flowers bloomed unrestrainedly. Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo's sightseeing car parked on the dam, and workers were watering the green plants on the roadside. On one side was a low-lying wetland, while on the other side, because of the large amount of water, people mistakenly thought it was a wall that was separated from an ocean.

The completion of the Aswan Dam can also be regarded as a witness to the support of socialist countries to Egypt. In the situation where Egypt failed to borrow money from capitalist countries, the Soviet Union at that time extended a helping hand to help Egypt build the Aswan Dam. The completion of the dam was also full of the hardships of the Egyptians. The process was over 30,000 Egyptians participated in the construction, and 451 died. The landmark building in the distance in the photo was a witness to the joint construction of the dam by the Soviet Union and Egypt.

Leaving the Aswan Dam, Nalan Shiqi and Yun fell to the banks of the Nile River and took a boat to Philae Island. During the itinerary in the following few days, it was found that many Egyptian temples were named after modern discoverers. The same is true for the Temple of Phileae. This was originally the temple of the goddess Isis in ancient Egypt. This temple has a long history and was the last temple to give up the sacrifice to the goddess Isis. Historically, the goddess Isis's position in Egypt was extremely important and was regarded by Christianity as the main competitor for spreading in Egypt. This temple was originally a permanently submerged underwater with the completion of the Aswan Dam. Later, it was able to reappear after being cut and moved.

On the walls of the temple, there is still a vivid scene of Isis's son Horus avenging his father. No photography is allowed in the main hall, and the murals inside are also very vivid and exquisite.

For example, the stone pillars in the temple can be seen in all historical sites in Egypt. The columns include lotus representing Upper Egypt and papyrus representing Lower Egypt. Lotus and papyrus representing the entire Egyptian world. To this day, these two plants are also planted in the pool in front of the Egyptian Museum I visited before.

The Horus God in the Temple of Ferry was shown in front of people in the posture of an eagle-headed and human body. The ancient Egyptian pharaoh claimed that he was the son of Isis, so he often saw the image of the Horus God behind him on their statues.

Leaving Philae Island by boat, I have to say that watching the Isis Temple on the water gives people more imagination.

The last stop today is the unfinished obelisk. This attraction is actually just like this one. It was only halfway through the carving that there was something wrong with the stone, so I gave up. This is why later generations learned about the process of carving the stone tablet, transportation and standing methods.

The itinerary that day ended and checked into the Nile River cruise. The room was at the level of a three-star hotel in China. The ceiling was relatively low on the boat, and the buffet on the boat was pretty good.

Temple of Abu Simbel in Egypt - Temple of Koonpo

Nalan Shiqi gave up the project of this trip to Abu Simbel Temple by being too lazy to keep looking at the temple and not wanting to get up early. Yunluo, who was curious about the legendary Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses II, spent $120 to get up at 3 a.m.

The cruise ship's lobby gathered, so sleepy that I couldn't open my eyes. But the most interesting thing here is that the foreigners on the boat came out with big pillows one by one, which was a "beautiful and unique" scenery.

It took 3 hours to go to Abu Simbel Temple, and there were police escorts on the way. Yun Luo secretly wondered how much the 120 US dollar was to be divided into the police. While he was brewing his sleepiness again, he leaned against the bed of the bus, covered the air-conditioning blanket that Yun Luo brought, and fell asleep.

The sunrise shooting location in the desert was on the way to the Temple of Abu Simbel. At 5 o'clock in the morning, Yunluo was awakened by the sudden voices in the car. Looking out, it turned out to be the sunrise in the desert. He quickly took out his camera to take pictures. At this time, it was not far from the Temple of Abu Simbel. The entrance of the Temple of Abu Simbel is not allowed to take photos inside the Temple of Abu Simbel. It can be said that Yunluo thinks it is worth the trip. This temple built on the mountain is majestic. The statue of Ramses II stands here, indicating his immortal achievements and invincible myth, and also indicating his union with the wife of the Nubian nation, which means the unity of upper and lower Egypt and peace with neighboring countries.

Among the four stone statues in front of the Abu Simbel Temple, one of the heads is on the ground. I wonder if it was caused by the transfer of the temple after the Aswan Dam was completed.

The small temple that accompanied him next to him was the wife of Nubian of Ramses II. Since the visit to Abu Simbel Temple was relatively concentrated, it was not easy to take a photo without anyone else. Nalan Shiqi was not around, so I can take a picture of her own shadow and talk about it as a souvenir.

Back from Abu Simbel Temple, the cruise ship starts again and heads to the next stop - Koonpo Temple. On the deck of the cruise ship, you can enjoy afternoon tea and swim in the swimming pool on the deck, although the pool is not big.

When the sun sets, Nalan Seqi and Yunluo finally arrived at the Koongpo Temple. This heavily weathered temple has two gates and enshrines two gods. One is the god Horus, the god of the good eagle head god among the Egyptians, and the god of the crocodile god Sobik, a bad god who is feared by the Egyptians.

Although the temple is seriously weathered, the text on its walls is still clearly visible, and the reliefs are still lifelike. With the lights installed by the temple, the reliefs over thousands of years still look exquisite.

The Temple of Edfu is a large temple between Aswan and Luxor, and is the temple of the god Horus, the son of Isis and Osiris.
